I'm a telecom professional and PMP is a long aspiration for me and it was a contact or a colleague from my office who referred CLSR and as well as info carrier for going through this PMP certification and this was blessing in disgrace for me. I was very well motivated even before joining PMP workshop. So I had a brief call with GLSR for around five minutes and it was a very wonderful motivation and immediately joined the course. And I did my course workshop on in the month of May 2024 and it was a very good learning not only from the project management aspect, it is also the learning from the leadership aspect as well. So. So I had a lot of learning options with that and it also developed me in person as well besides the PMP certification or workshop. So I had a learning over that. And second thing is that after completing my workshop I was I started my preparation although I had a set goal of completing the PMP by the year end means by 2024 year end that was my initial goal. But due to all my personal and professional engagements I know that I will be extending this journey until the 2024 end. But my target was clear that that it has to be completed by this year. So that was my over is going to going for this certification they need to have this end date clear so that if you are there then you can plan accordingly. So planning in the sense what I said is that for this preparation personally for me I took 20 days before the exam date. So I took 20 days freed myself from all this personal and professional commitments. So so in this 20 days my main focus was to interact with my mentor that is GLSR and then giving my scores for the mock exam. And I completed eight mock exam and every day I attend I will attend a mock exam and once the mock is completed the next day I go for the detailed review of the mock exam and maybe you can I I spared one or two days in between this eight exam in. In between these for a lesser time to take my mind off from this examination and then I repeat this. So I completed all these eight mock exam without even skipping one. So that is the main aspect or the material or the knowledge from the previous experience that Info Career has gained. They are giving it to us in terms of mock exam. So this is mandatory to go through the mock exams from offered by Infro Career and also continuously you need the guidance and support or motivation from the mentor. So you should be that is GLSR for me. So I used to be in regular touch with him either in WhatsApp or Gmail just forming his score so that it's a self motivation for you. Like the feedback will given to you will always motivate you. And I also kept a pointer that whatever he's asking me to aim I'm trying to beat that like one or two percentage. Like if he's asking me to aim for 60 score I will put an extra effort stretched myself to beat that by one or two percentage. So consistently I was averaging out for 65 to 70 core rate. So that also enhanced my confidence. This is one aspect from the exam point of view. The other is that if you are delaying your exam by five months or six months you should be always in touch. So the info career is giving you that option. Although you need not go through the material daily regularly again and again. But there is an option of so that quiz you I attended daily go through the materials related to PMP or not that doesn't matter but always like all throughout this five, six months daily I used to receive the quiz, I used to attend that so I was always in touch with the program. So that is one very nice aspect which I observed that you should be committed the info carrier is providing lot of these opportunities or motivational factors so so you should be able to take that wholeheartedly. Wholeheartedly. The quiz almost takes for like one or two minutes. You just need to attend that and you you just need to analyze the answers which are provided there. So I was always in touch. Although I was not preparing for the exam for 34 months continuously but I was always in touch with the program so that it the motivation was never reduced. So once I got the opportunity at the end of that year 2024 in December month, I just grabbed it with my both hands. So I was with this piece I was able to easily manage the mock exam. I was able to recollect lot of things and as far as mock exam is concerned it just removes the fear away like from the examination point of view the mock displays or GUI which info carrier is providing is similar to the actual BMP exam. So you will not have apart from your logical thinking aspect. So this presentation are gui this fear like how to click out where to see, where to see what these kind of aspects are completely negated. So this mock during the mock exam you will forget about all these unwanted things and you can only focus on the exact question and answer which we are going to provide. So that was very helpful for me and thank you once again sir for this great opportunity to learn from you and looking forward for future certification as well.

Thank you Manikantan. And tell us, is the content the way which has been structured? Do you feel that the for exam whatever they are asking, is it enough or anything else we need to improve from them aspect?

It was good material actually. And the thing is that besides content, you can remember the conversation like how it is delivered to us. Okay, so that is more aspect. I was able to recollect that. So I was able to remember like it's like various pointers like when you had a discussion with us. I was able to recollect and I was able to go to that content. So content was very good. Material was very good. In fact, the handout printouts that also helped me like the 49 processors that print out and various deliverables printouts and the change management printout. So this is. They were all handy to me to remember the huge volume. But otherwise it's a huge volume to go through it from the PMOK perspective. But these were all picked and choose nicely by Info Career. So we were able to easily leverage for the certification.

So how was you? You shared about mock exam and practice. And we really appreciate going through that process which made you easy. Okay, so when you saw they they would have been given you in the center, you have passed. Okay, so how was that experience when you receive provisional certificate saying that you cleared this exam?

Yeah, so I was not like in the pop up I got that you will be getting your marks sooner or later in mail. So I was thinking like, okay, maybe they will analyze and give me the result. I did not think about that. Once I came out, they said that collect your printout. I mean provisional setting. That was a surprise. But I was confident with the kind of material Info carrier supported me. I was confident that I will clear the exam. And also the motivation video which you provided just before the examination. I was 100% confident. In fact, I was able to complete the examination 30 minutes before. So I was confident in that. But I was not aware that I will be given the certificates then and there or the thing. So when I saw the provisional certificate and it is cleared first thing I was so happy. Then immediately I came out and I tried to contact you, convey the results and once done, then I called my mother, wife, every, everyone. So that was wonderful. That half an hour to one hour. So I was in that Cloud nine, we can say.

So how did your organization received you when you say that you completed?

I informed my manager obviously then and there. So I got my congratulatory Response back from him. So then the colleague who referred you to me so he was also so happy. And then as an as like it was communicated, my manager communicated to the entire team like to his boss that you have completed. He has completed the pmp. So like it's like this is this helps me to take more responsibility. Also immediately after this I got more responsibility assigned Benefit from that point of view.

Very good. Very good. Happy to know that. And what do you want to tell to PMP aspirants? So people who want to take this as a carrier, what do you want to tell to them?

Yeah, you learn daily and show empathy and be professional. And obviously if you get a chance with the info career just go on glsr. So try to take a workshop. This will help you in a personal level also. Not only from the PMP point of view. You will try to learn a lot from each and every aspect of the leadership.

Search in the portal and whichever relevant for your career and other thing. There is so much of self learning. Videos are there. It all will be one hour. One hour. Before you watch log into that portal so that when you watch automatically you will get a credit PDU in your profile. It's called project management.com login with your PMI ID. Okay. Then you watch the videos. Once you complete you will get a PDU for whatever videos you watch. Especially see the latest 1 month, 2 months of videos latest 1 month you will find lot of a current trend things. Okay. Which people will be getting after three years, four years you will have an opportunity to learn early.
