Rajesh Sarode, a pharmaceutical professional from Bangalore, talks about passing the PMP exam with help from Info Career coaching. He shares his study methods, the challenges he faced, and why he wanted to pursue project management certification.
Rajesh Saradi from I'm from Bangalore so I work in a pharmaceutical company called Anthem Biosciences Private limited which is located here in Bangalore itself. So I have been into this industry from past 14 years. So I'm basically a postgraduate in biochemistry Master in biochemistry in same Karnataka Kohempur University. So I came to know about project management professional through one of my colleagues as well as my best friends. So somewhere around 2021 I came across project management program which Info Career was actually mentoring. So it was a very very very good experience for me as I was looking for enhance my skills in this one managing teams and managing projects. So it gave me a very good opportunity and actually I should thank my friends who introduced me to this so that both of them are PMPs Vivek and Sunil Holla. So they introduced me to this and it was a very good learning as well as experience for me.
So.
Based on my journey it has been through a lot of. I can say I delayed a little bit delayed the taking up exam so that I was not confident so whether I might file it the first time. So and I was literally behind you each and every time when I took mocks or each and when I took this exams in IC leaf so I was bit hesitant and actually if, if. If. If anybody. If. If somebody tells that PMP is a very difficult then yes you are just. You just join Info Career you will be 50 is you already done that if you join Info Career 50 you have already cleared the PMP it's just 50% you have to listen to Shaker or Natarajan or Chandrasekharan sir rks. So you just practice the IC Leaf questions and it will be like done. So the course material what and all you have put it up in Road to project Success and the question banks which are there in IC Leaf those are all like definitely the guides for us and which generally take out all the fears. While actually when I went through the examination I was very worried so I thought I may not clear it the first time. So I was very long confidence. But when I saw the questions it was very very it looked little bit somewhat easy. So when I compared to icliff Mocks. So it was very good and big thank you for all Info Career team members as first of all and most of the thanks goes to you Nishek.
Thank you Rajesh. Thank you for that. What kind of preparation you did?
Yeah actually somewhere June or June 25th I started my classes. So around July 25th I got finished all the classes so in between actually I due to work this one load and due to some personal things I'm not able to write the examination within actually six months. So it delayed little bit. And preparation wise I went through RITA book. Sorry RITA book. And most of the times I gone through the road to project success videos most of the times and I made a little bit of short notes what and all is important. So the keywords, all those things and. And. And I have gone through the TAICI leaf so twice. Okay. So it helped me a lot. And mocks the mock exams which were there at the end of the this one IC leaf. So those also helped me a lot the mocks also I took mocks so I got around 50% average on an average. So I thought on a 50 average I may get around. I thought I may get around target. So in examination when I saw the questions so it was. It was like without unaware how we have solved so many questions there. And it was like first, first 60 questions, whatever. It took me a lot of time for me around 80, 80 to 90 minutes. So next 60 questions the. The time has got reduced and around 70 minutes I can solve 60 questions. And in the final it was. It. It went like annoyingly within 50 or 60 minutes. I finished it all. So it was like a very good experience. And it's like after almost 15 years of my post graduation I was writing an exam so it was like. It was like lot of goosebumps. Okay. And I felt like thrilled. Okay. And the examination centers and all Pearson they are very good maintained. So and regarding info career, as I told you, it's a great coaching institute I have come across and it will take individual personal care while taking the exams. All those things and they're always there whenever we require any help. We're always there. And your team. So I say a big thank you. And most importantly my family members helped me a lot during this clearing of this examination and they were all important stakeholders.

Yes, yes. And based on the work front actually I am in a pharmaceutical industry so I am leading a team of some eight people. So now I want to move to a better prospects so where that I can enhance these skills in project management. So I am looking forward to that and I was already started trying so I hope I will use this knowledge what have gained through this project management. So in my upcoming projects. So it was like a new thing for me. So project management. So even though Unknowingly I started the project management in my. This. This company actually have established a whole quality control laboratory starting from the scratch. So unknowingly. So that and lot of things which project management teaches us. We will do day in and day out, all the activities but we will not be knowing the common vocabulary. So this is the one thing which I have learned common vocabulary and it has increased my. This one knowledge of interacting with other vendors, clients and as well as our management. So it has given me a lot of like wealth. It. I'll call it as a wealth. Okay. A lot of wealth in terms of knowledge. And. And I was thinking to go beyond this and definitely I'll. I'm going to try to take a new and new project management courses in future so that I can enhance my knowledge.
And as rightly pointed out. So this course not only is going to help you just for the exam background, it will work and then lot of things without unknowingly we will implement it. Yeah, definitely I am going to tell to other people to take a PMP and then increase their those who are interested and I'll motivate people around me so that they can also learn. So it was like the other two persons has told me so I had to give it to give it back. So to those who are needy. So definitely I'm going to tell to other people and for me actually I checked all the other mentoring institutes but I checked it other institutes but Info Career is like best one so.
