The secret behind my PMP success | Real-life story revealed.

This is a YouTube video titled "The secret behind my PMP success | Real-life story revealed." featuring a detailed testimonial by Swati, who shares her challenging career journey from electrical engineering to IT and management, culminating in her successful preparation and passing of the PMP exam. The video includes an interaction with Shekhar, presumably the instructor or mentor, discussing the course structure, study materials, and exam experience. The content is motivational and instructional, aimed at prospective PMP candidates.
It was a pleasure actually being part of. I mean joining your institute and all. These 34 months was really good time for me Though I had hard times at home, I had to manage my family and I had to concentrate on what all tips you give and the course. It was tough for me but even then I had lot of confidence on your guidance. So that's the thing that moved me all through this three, four months and I was able to finally clear the exam. So let me first begin with my introduction. I am Swati. I have been working for Tangetco for the last five years so actually my career path is a lot of risks and turns. I did my electrical engineering in 2012 so I. I was very particular about entering technical field. I wanted to do masters in IIT so I cleared GATE exam But after my engineering I had to enter into the family life all of a sudden so I planned to enter central government so I was writing central government exams like engineering services, civil services so it was again a hard time for me to manage with my family and preparation. So it was all like a very tough time for me. But then I was. I didn't give up because I already had good training from my school days writing competitive exams so I just. I didn't give up and I was keep on writing those exams. I used to clear few exams and I used to decide for my own if I want to go for it or not. So like that I had to accept the standard co AAE exam for my family's sake but after my engineering for being in touch with my education I was taking classes for engineering students and all so that I should not go away from the subject I should not be new to the exam so that those were the days I was writing exams and exams and exams. So after entering into Tanjirco I was was happy for only two years where I was working in power plant so power plant experience was really what to say. I thought okay this is my job, this is my place and all. I was so happy to work there but in the expense of my family time I had to travel a lot again I had a struggle and I had to shift to headquarters Chennai so I shifted from there, here and here. I was totally unsatisfied with the job I was given and it was so new for me to handle all paperworks, all of this works administration. So after that I had to decide so this is not my place. I have to shift my career path to some other things and I entered IT field so I started exploring new fields. So at that Time I started to explore IT sector and it was also difficult to shift from electrical to it. But then okay, I took it as a challenge and I worked for IT department for two years. Then after learning nfo, this is what it is. So I had a grip in that department. So then I decided to enter the management field. So as a woman, after facing all these things, things I understood very well that management skill is the essential for each and every woman. And I explored what is the management course I should do so that I can manage my family and carrier side by side. And so I had also some dreams to set up my own organization and do something after 40s 50s once my family's job is done. So I was very keen in that. And that's when I opted project management course pmp. When I was searching for that, I understood that this course was meant for the experienced professional. And I was doubtful if I am eligible because I was part of a project for three years and it was a government project. So I had few doubts if I am eligible for writing it. And. And how should I enroll and all. And at that time one senior of my department who is already settled in Singapore, he suggested me to enter info career. And he was very confident if you go there, yes, you are a pmp. And he. He sent me like that. Okay. Then I spoke to Shekhar sir. And I remember talking to you for the first time. Sir, you told me this thing. You. You said this exam is as challenging as you expect. Respect Swati. And this is not an easy exam. So you can try it. You. You told me this thing sir. So that was motivating me. Oh, I wanted to try something difficult because I have written very tough exams. I have passed very tough exams like Gate engineering service. So I was craving to write something very tough. So okay, when you sent me those words, I decided to take pmp. So this is my long history now coming to Info Carrier. Once I started my first class Info Carrier, it was early morning class. So each and every class I learned crisp and neat, crisp and clear, what's required. And there was no any extra stuff that I mean those are shared in those classes that I should say it is like well planned, well curated. They say the word curated which is crafted for years together. So this course is like that. Shekhar sir has put a lot of efforts. He has done the course very crisp and clear and neat, what is required. So I understood its importance and how it is done within few classes. And because I was designing a course for a recruitment, the electrical engineering recruitment development Process so I could understand how neatly it is done and how much effort sir has put after attending the questions. The question bank was mind blowing I should say. I think that gave me the confidence each and every question bank questions that I. And it is also neatly segregated. The beginning level, intermediate advance. Those are all I can understand. Sir has done lot of lot of work behind that. And the explanation those are given, those are all the stepping stones we have to go through all those questions. Only then we can reach the mock level. So that was very neatly planned. That question bank is out of the work I should say. Sir, I think it's really wonderful. And your efforts are highly appreciated, sir.
Thank you.
That was very good that I think that question bank after I understood, okay, this is how the exam will be. So that's why S has given this one. And I was very particular about following the levels. So I didn't at a time go to intermediate, at a time go to advance. So I did it step by step like that. I didn't take a step without S guidance. I always came to Sir. Natarajan sir also helped me a lot. And because there are two different types of syllabus in that curriculum. Like Agile and Waterfall. Both are like opposite coins, opposite sides of coin. So one says you should go straight but the other says you should go all curled and you should take shortcut. So both are the opposite sides of coin. You have to think differently. So it was little bit difficult for me. And I took Natarajan Sirs help for that. His video lessons were all very useful. And all the videos, everything were very good. And I made sure I listened all those videos. And I attended all the questions very sequentially as per the guidance. So all these things made me prepared for mock exam. And I knew it is very important to take mock before going to the main exam. Because that uses the exercise kind of that mentally prepares us in all ways. So taking Mark is very important in the exam scenario, exam environment, we should take it. So that's why I gave importance to Mark and I did that. But even though I did all these things three, four months, the exam day, everything became upside down. Exam day was like a big nightmare for me. Because I had a small child, we are only six months old. So I plan to take in the midnight so that my child would be sleeping. Unfortunately, the exam day he woke up. I was so tensed. That was a big nightmare for me. I mean, after giving all the tests they'll usually check the room and all take the photos. But after taking many times photos, I Didn't read the instruction properly. I was taking photos again and again, again and again. And then my passport date got expired and they asked for another id. And all those confusions, lot of confusions. And in one step, while taking the break, I took it earlier before the time stopped and the invigilator got tense. Why are you taking now? And we had a conversation in the middle of the exam. All these things happened. I didn't know I will complete the exam also. But somehow God's grace, I should say it is written in my head that I should finish this exam successfully. And I did it, sir. I did it. So I felt really happy after finishing it. Thanks a lot, sir.
Tell us little about Road to Project Section IC Leaf how it was helpful.
Yeah, you have given lot of materials to download and all. I used to read it whenever I get time again and again to change our mindset and all I did that. And all the videos were very good, sir. Everything was excellent.
And thank. Thank you for sharing that People. People who want to write exam so anything you want to share with them?
Yes, definitely. People whoever joins Info Career, they should stick to the instructions and the guidance that you are giving and they can trust 100% because as a tutor and myself, I can guarantee them that they'll succeed in this exam if they follow all your videos and all the question bank itself. That is more than sufficient provided they should go in accordance to your plan. Thank you, sir. Thank you.
