Alexandra Johnson shares a personal story about losing a friend to suicide and urges viewers to recognize their own gifts and reach out for support. She speaks directly to anyone struggling with fear and insecurity, emphasizing that perseverance matters.
Hey, everyone, it's Alexandra. I hope you're having a great day. So today's video, Don't Give Up. It's a little bit more of an intense video than I normally do, but I think it's a really important message. And recently, one of my friends growing up committed suicide. And he left a daughter and his friends and his family and just made the choice that life was no longer worth living. And when I heard the news, I just had this sinking in my heart that, like, what was he thinking? What in the last, like, days, hours, minutes, was he thinking that he wanted to take his life? Like, what was going through his head? And why did he feel like it was life was not worth living? And it's just been kind of something that I've been contemplating and just realizing that there's so much suffering in the world, and there's many people killing themselves, killing other people, and there's just so much pain in the world. And I just had this urgent to do something like, what can I do? Could I have done something to help him, to give him hope, to help him, support him so that he would make it through another day knowing that no matter what any of us have done, no matter what he did, didn't do, doesn't matter that he could start new and that I just. I just. I just wanted to be there. I just wanted to be there to be able to support him. And you never know. You never know what people are going through when they're in that state of mind. And you never know what anybody's going through. I mean, somebody may think that they're doing okay, but actually they're living a nightmare in their head, and they think that they're a failure and it'd be better if they weren't here. So there's a few things that I want to share on this. And the first one is don't give up, and don't give up from the standpoint of you watching this video. And you have gifts to give. You have talents and energies and things that you can give to the world, and don't give up on yourself. So many of us are insecure and fearful. We wonder what people are gonna think and is it good enough? Are we good enough? And we don't actually put ourselves out there. But it's not about us. It's not about people liking us and people accepting us. There's gonna people who don't like you, who don't accept you. There's plenty of people who watch my videos that don't like Me. But is that gonna stop me from making my videos, is gonna stop me from teaching my classes? In the past, yeah, I would have been extremely fearful for what somebody was gonna think of me and I wouldn't have done it and I would have made an excuse as of why I wasn't going to do it. But I know from doing this work and for sharing, sharing my gifts that I do make a difference. And what I have to say does matter. That doesn't matter for everyone. It doesn't make a difference for everyone, but it makes a difference to the people who it makes a difference to. And that makes me happy that I feel like my mission is being fulfilled in that we all have. That we all have the gifts that we need to give to the world. Who knows what you create and give and be in the world, how that's going to impact somebody. So something that you do today by just being willing to step out of your comfort zone and just authentically share or give, you may change somebody's life. You may not even know that you changed their life, but you did. So I think it's really important that we step out of our comfort zone, step out of our negative stories and our self limiting beliefs and say, you know what? I have this gift to give and I'm going to give it. I'm going to give it whether I get money for it, whether I become successful at it. I, I'm gonna give it because I have it and I wanna give it. And it feels good to give it and to not be attached to the outcomes, but just to give, give, give, give. And don't let those negative thoughts and those negative beliefs about yourself bubble up. Anytime that comes up, get out there and do something because the world needs us. And I know I said this in so many videos, but it does. There's a. There's so many people who are like my friend, who think that they are worthless and they want to give up. And many do. But what if we could actually make a difference? That we could create ripple effects that actually inspire people to hold on for another day and another day and another day and recreate their lives and know that nothing is that bad, that anything that we've done, any mistake, any failure is not that bad. We can heal, we can move through it. There's always, always hope. And that us giving our gifts hopefully inspires people to give their gifts and to know that they have gifts to give. So that, that's one part of the video that I wanted to share. Don't give up. So if you're watching this video, don't give up. Don't give in to your insecurities and your doubts and your fears and the things that stop you from doing what you feel you are called to do and be. And it doesn't have to be something big and huge and successful that everyone knows about. It's in your daily interactions. Are you showing up? Are you loving your family members? Are you being kind and generous to the people around you? Are you? Yes. Just. Just show up. Show up for your life. Show up as you are and trust that the more that you are yourself, the more that people will be inspired and that you will actually make a positive contribution to the world. And the other. The other thing that I want to share in this video is that if you are at that point right now where you feel like you're a failure and you're questioning if your life is actually worth it, I'm here to say it is worth it. Please, please, please do not give up. And if there is anything that I can do to help support you on that, please let me know. And I'd love to. If you are at that point, please email supportntheos and just say you watch this video and Alexandra said to hook me up. And we'll hook you up with Rock youk Goddess Life and Philosopher's Notes and optimal living 101. And if you want, give us your phone number and either I or someone on our team will call you and support you and support you to find your gifts and know that what you have to offer the world is important and that you are needed in the world. So if by chance you're watching this and you don't know if you can make it another day and you just feel like you can't, please, please, please reach out to us so that we can support you. And we're more than happy to support you and hook you up with all the goodness that we have created to hopefully help you, support you, guide you into your new life that you are creating, starting now. So that. That's the video today? No. A little intense, but I think it's. It's the reality. And I want to be able to. I want to be able to hold it. And I also want to be able to make a change and to make a difference and really, really support people and support all of you in really letting your light shine. And that is what we are here for. It is to plug in and let our light shine and be the most radiant expressions of ourselves that we can be. So if you're ever feeling. Doubtful, fearful, insecure. Remember, don't give up. Don't give up. Don't give up. Don't give up. Just keep showing up. Keep doing the work. Keep moving through your fears and your doubts and your insecurities, and I promise, miracles await you. So thank you so much for watching, and have a beautiful, amazing, awesome day.
