Alexandra Johnson challenges viewers to quit sugar, caffeine, and stevia for 30 days to boost energy and feel better. She shares her own experience and invites you to join a nutrition reboot program with community support.
Hi, everyone. It's Alexandra. So I want to start off the video with asking you a question about your health. What is the one thing that you could give up that would impact your health the most and help you optimize and feel even more fantastic? So ask yourself that question, and is it sugar, caffeine, cupcakes, fried food? What is it? And whatever pops into your head first is the thing. Because usually we are really attached and addicted to things that we don't want to let it go, but we have that thought every day that we do it. Mmm. I shouldn't be doing this. I should be drinking a juice instead of this coffee, or I should be having a piece of fruit instead of having this Snickers or whatever it is. So whatever it is, what popped into your head? And imagine giving it up for 30 days. Could you do it? And if you feel resistance around giving it up for 30 days, it might be a really good thing to let go of. It's really challenging to do it, but it's, you know, probably an area where you can really step up your nutrition and feel even better than you feel now. So for me, when I asked this question, I came up with stevia and then sweeteners. So I'm definitely a stevia girl. I love stevia, and I had a strong connection to stevia, and the thought of giving up stevia was a little traumatizing because I love my stevia. So I had that. And then also, I've been doing some kombuchas and some dark, dark chocolate and raw cacao, which has sweeteners in it. And I just realized that I was borrowing energy. Like, I noticed that at 3, 3pm around that area where our blood sugar drops, I started to want to have a kombucha, wanted to have some chocolate, and it wasn't serving me. I was not having the energy yet, borrowing it. And this idea of just when we're not feeling fully alive and energetic, we borrow. We have coffee, and we're just borrowing and borrowing and borrowing, and eventually it catches up to us. Either we get sick or we just feel ridiculously exhausted. We can only borrow for so long. So I did. I didn't want to borrow energy anymore, so I committed to giving up the dark chocolate and the kombuchas and then my stevia. Oh, my gosh. So I've been doing it for nine days now, and it's actually pretty easy. Once you make the commitment, it's easy, and you just don't do it. I have moments where I really want to grab for the stevia but I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna give in. So the challenge to you is what is the thing that came to your mind and are you willing to give it up for 30 days? Are you? It will be worth it. And I'm also curious if you want to comment or share your thoughts on what you are giving up. Would be very exciting. I'd be curious to see what everyone is doing and if you want some support on this, I'm also doing a supercharged reboot for the Rock youk Goddess Life program. So if you want to do 30 days of really rebooting your nutrition and feeling supercharged and optimized even more, you can join us for a four week program at the end of January which is pretty exciting. So I will share more on that soon. But it will be available very soon so you can sign up. And I look forward to hearing how how this goes for you and what you came up with. And if you're actually going to do it for 30 days and challenge you, it will be worth it. Alright, have a wonderful day and I send you lots and lots of love.
