This is a YouTube video titled "Gratitude Jar" created on January 15, 2013, featuring Alexandra Johnson sharing a personal and family practice of maintaining a gratitude jar. She explains the concept, encourages viewers to participate, and reflects on the positive impact of daily gratitude notes. The content is a solo monologue focused on personal growth and family bonding.
Hey, everyone, it's Alexandra. Hope you're having an awesome day. So today's video is the gratitude jar. Here's my gratitude jar. And the idea is to get a piece of paper, get a pen, and write down the date, and then write down something that you're grateful for for that day. Write down something that you did well, something that happened that was awesome. Just whatever you want to remember for that day, write it down and then put it in your jar. And you do this every day throughout the year. And then at the end of the year, you open them all up and you look at them and you remember the days and all the little things that happened that were awesome about your year. So I got this idea from my friend Sass on Facebook. She had shared it from a website, which I can't remember what it is right now, but I just loved it, and I thought it was a really, really great idea to do. And I'm very excited as a new mother to do it for our little. Our little son as well. All the little things that he does. And my husband's doing it, so we're just putting little things in every day. And I'm very curious what my husband's putting in there, but I'll have to wait till the end of the year to know. So I think it's just really sweet. It's a really great idea to take time in your day to look for the things that are great and awesome in your life and take the time to write down what you're grateful for. And I just. It just. I don't know, it's just really fun. So I hope that you like it. I know I look forward to writing my little note every day, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it, if you're going to do it and what your thoughts are and if you have any other creative ideas that we can do as a family, because I think it's a really great thing to do as a family. So, anyways, that's it. Enjoy your. I don't know why I keep looking at my gratitude jar. Just show it again. My gratitude jar. All right, I'm a nerd. I'm going to go, so have a wonderful day. And until next time.
