How to make your life meaningful

A solo talk on finding meaning in ordinary moments through presence and gratitude. The speaker argues that mundane tasks become meaningful when you approach them with full attention and devotion, turning everyday life into something worth living.
Hello. So today's video is how to make life meaningful. And I love this topic because I feel like we do create meaning. We create our purposes, like what we are here to do, we get to create, which is really exciting to me. And I think that we get insights and inspiration from our soul, our spirit, authentic self essence, whatever you want to call it, of what we're here to actually do. And I find that really empowering that we can wake up and we can choose to give meaning to our life. And where I'm really excited about currently in my life is giving meaning to the little things, the mundane things. Because if you add up all of your days and what you do in your time, in your day to day life, you'll see that you have a lot of mundane activities. Laundry, food, showering, brushing teeth, taking care of kids, running errands, yada, yada. And we have a lot of mundane activities. And for so many of us, we look at our days or we're doing something, like we don't want to be doing dishes, we want to be doing something else, or we're doing this and we want to be doing this or that, and we're never where we actually are. So I think it's so exciting to have the practice when you're doing something to do it fully, be completely present and aware and conscious, and to do it with devotion and love and meaning. Because you can just take out the trash and be upset that you have to take out the trash and hate taking out the trash. Or you can shift it to, you know, I'm gonna take out the trash with a level of devotion and love, like a level of gratitude that I'm taking the trash out and a truck or whatever is going to come and take this trash and I get to take it out of my house. Like all the things that have to happen in order for our lives to run smoothly is truly miraculous. And if we can take the moment to just realize that, feel the gratitude, and do it with intention, and do it with love and appreciation, all the little mundane activities, we can actually infuse our soul with more joy and more deliciousness. And it's such a powerful, powerful practice. We all can be extraordinary human beings. And a lot of times we think of extraordinary in the way that you do something big and you change the world on a huge level. And I'm not saying that those are not worthy goals, because they are, and I have my own versions of those. But I don't spend that much time thinking about it. I think about what are the day to day actions that I can do so that I have a better chance of fulfilling that mission in the world and how I show up, who do I need to be in order to have those things be created and manifested? And it's in the little things. It is so in the little things. Like when you choose to be present with your child, you are making a difference. When you choose to cook with love, you are nourishing the world. When you choose love over fear in a little interaction, you are changing the world. And I think it's really exciting to reorient ourselves around creating a meaningful life and knowing that we can choose to be extraordinary by the little things that we do. And that however our life is showing up right now is the way that it's supposed to show up. And for us to just embrace it and say, okay, I got it, I am tired, I am stressed or whatever it is and I don't want to be doing this. How do I embrace it? How do I love it? How do I have a level of devotion and creativity and enthusiasm for all aspects of my life? And I think the more that I. And we do this on a day to day consistent basis, our lives end up looking miraculous because we have paid attention to the details. We have been living in a state of gratitude and appreciation and love and joy and generosity in moment to moment to moment situations. And I just, I just find that inspiring. I find that it can be really challenging to do, but I also find it really inspiring that how I do the little things is how I make meaning of my life. So that is the idea for today. You make meaning in your life and choose to give meaning to the mundane. Give meaning with love and joy and enthusiasm and playfulness and creativity and all the little things that you do. Don't miss your life. Yeah, this keeps coming up for me a lot. Don't miss your life. It's happening right now. There is joy available right now, right here in this moment, in that moment, every moment, there is joy available. So that is it. Make yourself, make your life meaningful. Create joy, be present, be mindful, be conscious and love your life. All of it. The small, the big, the in between, the sticky, the, the frustrating, the exciting, the inspirational. Love it all and have a blast. So hopefully you enjoyed this video. Hopefully you found something valuable. And until next time, I send you lots and lots of love and gratitude. Thank you for watching.
