Hello, it's Alexandra. Today's video is these are the best days of your life. And I'm going to read a quote by Mary Jean Eyron. And it is normal day. Let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. And I love this because time doesn't wait. Time doesn't wait for us to save our. Time doesn't wait for us to wake up and appreciate all that we have right now. Time just keeps rolling. The days, the sun rises, the sun sets. No matter what we do, that will continue to happen. And I think it's important that we take time in our days to love them, to bless them, to not let our life pass by in some quest of rare and perfect tomorrow. And I think this is important because I am all for optimism, like having grand visions for your life and creative dreams and desires. Like, these are all really, really important for all of us to have and to. To strive for and to have that inspiration and ambition and creativity, like, those are all vital things for us. And at the same time, I think we can rush forward and, oh, it's gonna be so much better when I'm doing this or when this happens or when that happens. And, you know, we miss out on all the little subtle magic that happens throughout the day because we are in hot pursuit for a better, perfect tomorrow. And I just, I've been feeling into this recently, you know, and I. I'm surprised that I'm 35. It seems like just yesterday I was in my 20s, and now I'm married and I have a son and I'm like, wow, where does time go? It goes by really fast. And I look back into my 20s when I was playing volleyball in college and I was on a full ride scholarship. And there's many amazing things. And there was also a big. A lot of drama for me in that time. There was drama about my body, body image, food, love, life, you know, school, and what I was gonna do when I grew up. And there was just a lot. There was a lot of. There's a lot of dark night of the soul for me. I think in my college days, there's heartbreak and just. There's a lot of stuff. And it's amazing because all of that has helped me become who I am today. But at the same time, I look at it and I think, wow, I was playing college volleyball, like, life was awesome. My school was paid for, I had awesome friends. Like, there were so many great things about it, but I was colored by a better tomorrow. And I was always thinking in the future of, like, when I'm done with college and when I do this and when I'm married and when. When. When that I missed out on being present to how awesome life was. And I think that's really important that. And I know for me, when I look back in 20 years, you know, when my son is, like, 22, I'm gonna look back and be like, oh, my gosh, he was so tiny, and he was so awesome. And I'm going to have the feeling that these were the best days of my life. Like, these were the best days of my life. So this has been something that I've been working with of, like, just affirming that these are the best days of my life. Like, this is awesome. It doesn't get much better than this. And life is good and great and grand. And when I approach it, like, these are the best days of my life, I feel spaciousness and an awareness to look for why these are the best days of my life. Like, I take time with my son. I'm not in a rush. I'm not trying to do too much. I'm not doing my best to not be distracted and to be present and aware. And I just. I think that this is a really, really important thing for us to just take the time to honor our days and honor our life as it is currently. And if you're going through a challenge, you know, we all have different challenges at different phases of our life. And if it's really rough for you, like, you may be thinking, this is a little ridiculous. These are the best days of my life. But just try it on. Just see. You know, if you think about it, if I would have had this attitude when I was in my college drama days, these are the best days of my life. I would have had the knowing that the challenges were actually making me stronger, that I was learning some valuable life lessons, that it would guide me on the path to where I am right now. There would be a bring it on attitude of, like, yeah, I'm going through some challenges. I've had losses, or I've had frustrations, or you're in debt or whatever is your deal, celebrate it because it is causing you to grow and expand in new ways. And that is awesome. And again, you're gonna look back and be like, oh, gosh, that was so hard when I went through that, but I learned so much. We all do that. And if you're gonna look back and think you learned so much and it was such a pivotal time for your life, you might as well just start Deglarin these are the best days of my life. Right here, right now. These are the best days of my life. Life is good. So this is just a video to share that you know to start looking for and continue looking for why this is the best day of your life and how you can make it the best day of your life and stay still, plan and create and do awesome things and envision for the future, but don't miss out on today. And as Annie Dillard says, how you spend your days is how you spend your life. Your life is it life, lives. Lives, whatever. Ask the question. How are you spending your life? How are you spending your days? Is it how you want to be spending your days? Is it how you want to be feeling? Are you feeling the joy? Are you feeling the love? How can, how can you look to celebrate and honor and bless your days, bless your family, bless your body. Just bless life and celebrate because you are here, you are living, you are breathing and life is good. So grateful for you to be watching and I hope this was helpful and I send you lots of love and until next time.
