This is a YouTube video titled "Yummy Smoothie" created in January 2011 featuring Alexandra Johnson demonstrating how to make a nutritious smoothie with her husband. The content is a casual, instructional cooking session where Alexandra shares ingredients and preparation tips, with her husband participating in the conversation and tasting the smoothie.
Hey everyone, it's Alexander J. Johnson. And I know a lot of you have been asking about smoothies and juices. So this week I'm going to show you some cool smoothie recipes and juice recipes. And today we're going to do a smoothie. I have some fresh papaya just got at the market today. And then we have some fresh mulberries which you can just use regular berries. You can use any berries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, whatever. So probably like half a cup to a cup of each. And I'm making a monster smoothie for my husband. So this is going to be a big one that you can have two servings. So it can either be for two people or you could have one in the morning and one like later.
Lucky me.
Yes. And then we have some almond milk. Fresh made almond milk.
Very, very well done that.
I think I might need some dry hands.
I need some husband oil on that.
Here you go. That's almost embarrassing.
I need two hands.
Okay, I guess I'm going to hold it. So then we have the mulberries. And then I'm going to show you Sun Warrior protein, which is what we use. And then also we use vitamineral greens. And the camera's going back to the hubby. Thanks for your muscles. That was a little embarrassing. My hands were wet. Okay, so maybe like a cup and a half. Ish. And then we're gonna put the vitamin or greens which I have in this little container. So put like a teaspoon in there. There's wheat grass, barley grass, oat grass, alfalfa, all sorts of yummy goodness. And then the sun Warrior which I showed you here. The best protein ever. Seriously love it. Vanilla?
Yeah, make sure you get vanilla.
Yeah, vanilla natural. Not really good chocolate I haven't had, but I'm sure it's really good. I just don't think you should do chocolate all the time. So 2 grams or 2 scoopfuls of the protein and it has 16. One scoop has 16 grams of protein. So it's pretty awesome. And it's brown rice, fermented protein, really good. And then we have maca. Really good. And just put like a teaspoon of that in there. And then we're gonna add some fresh coconut water. If you don't have access to fresh coconuts, you can do from your health food store you can get one coconut or what's the other one? Fico. Fico. I don't know. I always get one so I recommend.
One that's the brand. One.
One one coconut. Yeah. Then we're going to put a little bit of stevia. Stevia is a natural sweetener without the impact for your insulin. So it's really, really, really good. It's one of my favorite things ever. Okay, so then you're going to blend it up. That's the sweetener. And this is the Vitamix, one of my favorite things ever in the kitchen. I love my Vitamix. Okay, so it's good to go. I'm actually juicing, so I won't be having the smoothie today, but my husband will. And we're going to put it in this glass to try it out. All right, let's give me the camera so then we can see you tasting it. Oh, it's delicious. Just emancipated. Delicious.
Very good.
Sweet. Cheers. All right, so that's it. Have a great day.
