Short monologue (YouTube) about how self-talk and beliefs shape behavior and potential: small language edits (e.g., adding the word "yet") can open possibilities; beliefs enable new behaviors which create new results; self-talk becomes self-fulfilling (cites Henry Ford: "whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right").

It's really hard to create a positive life with a negative mind. So if we find yourself saying something like I don't have a great memory, even just editing it and adding a little word like yet at the end I don't have great memory yet. It just opens up the possibilities and the potential. I really do believe that all behavior is belief driven. Meaning if you want to create a new result in your life you have to do a new behavior. In order to do that new behavior you need a belief that says that's even possible. Right? Because if you believe you can or believe you can, either way you're right. Henry Ford said that. I feel like this self talk, the beliefs that people have about themselves become very much self fulfilling. A lot of people say I'll believe it when I see it when it could be the other way around. You could see it when you start believing.
