Welcome to Just Breathe: Parenting Your LGBTQ Teen. My name is Heather Hester, and I am excited to be with you to transform the conversation around loving and raising an LGBTQ child. This podcast is for anyone who knows and loves a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning adolescent, teen, or young adult. I share my family's journey surrounding my oldest son coming out Heather Hester at the age of 16, as well as valuable education and information about the coming out process and how to navigate a time that can feel scary and uncertain.
