Hello, it's Heather with Prescriptive Living. This is the place our savvy singles come to get tips to fail proof their life and love. And today we are talking about how to know if you have the odds stacked in your favor to be able to have a great dynamic relationship that is part of say the 12% who are rocking their union or if you're in a spot where you may not be equipped because of life. So is there a way to tell? Yes, there is and we're going to talk about that right now. So be sure to stay through and like our videos and subscribe if you're not if you want to stay in the know. So the number one way for you to find out whether you're going to have a great relationship is to evaluate your mentor or your parents how well they did relationship. Okay. Because that is the standard at which one should expect to have a healthy relationship if they don't get additional training, preparations and study to do it better. Okay, so if that is a when you're evaluating it kind of a scary thought because maybe the union that you saw displayed and the model before you is not the ideal for you then that if you want a different outcome then you definitely want to do preparations, step study and learning on how to get to the other side and have a healthy union. I am going to cover the key things that are very, very important for healthy functioning. One is a level of just awareness of self. Because that way you will know where you are safe to compromise and where you are not safe to compromise. You will know what you really like, what you really value, what you really enjoy, what, what you work well with, what makes you your just best and most vibrant self. That component is important because people, when they don't know it, end up compromised a lot. And when people end up compromised, they end up unhappy. And it shows up in a lot of different ways. So self awareness is one area where it becomes really important then also is your skills and communication and connecting and understanding alignment for proper compatibility. You know some of those areas. So when you start to evaluate, you know how well you can handle those areas, you can get a better idea if you're set up to have a good relationship. You know, the thing is it would be silly to think that one's just going to fall into a good relationship just because life is, you know, that's what you desire, that's what you want. If you haven't had a good model set before you on how to do it and you haven't prepared or gotten Any skills, anything that you do in life that you do well, chances are you got training, you got degrees, you got, you know, equipped in some capacity to do it well. Well, the same thing is true with relationships. You want to be able to do the things that are majors well, to be able to have good results. And a lot of people don't do the training, don't do the preparations, and they don't have the skills. And they are part of the majority who are struggling in their union. You know, not feeling connected, not having a great time. At prescriptive living. We measure success by fulfillment. How much you're enjoying your moments, whether they're individual with yourself or shared with other people. And most certainly the person you're doing life with the, you know, in the most intimate capacity. So this is the time we want you to evaluate. Was your model set before you, preparing you and setting you up to have a great union? If it wasn't, this is a great time to reflect on what you're going to do about it. If you don't do anything, don't expect to have a good relationship because you probably aren't going to. Not here to bring bad news. I'm just saying that, you know, you can expect that to be the outcome, but if you want more, then learn what, what areas are important for relationship to stay connected and get those skills in training and be able to be able to shift to get where you want course correct to get where you want to go. Okay, so those are the things we're talking about. If you look at environments, the two most important environments, home and work, are where we spend the majority of our time at work. Usually depending on how demanding our role is and what kind of work we do, we have done some training to be able to do that at a certain level of skill and functioning for it to work well. The same thing is true relationally. Hey, you need to zip. So sorry about that little intrusion there. And so the same thing is true with relationships, right? Just getting equipped. So that is all we're talking about today. In the description, there will be an assessment if you want to take it, to find out where you're at in your level relational readiness. You'll get kind of a score. It'll give you an indicator and it'll be good to know kind of where you're at and then where you want to go and then identify what needs to happen to fill those voids and gaps. So that is all we're talking about today. Cheers to living and loving well and have a great rest of the week. Bye.
