Tonight, a senseless tragedy inside train wreck. 20 minutes into last night's screening, police and eyewitnesses say this man stood up and began shooting at random before turning the gun on himself.
That's the big question. Why would this guy come here to this theater and just start randomly shooting people?
Upon learning of the two fatalities and an additional nine injured, the film's writer and star Amy Schumer tweeted a grief stricken message to her followers. Quote, my heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana. In a sad twist of irony, five months ago Trainwreck director Judd Apatow hosted a fundraiser to prevent gun violence. Today, he tells the Insider, quote, my thoughts and love go out to the victims and anyone touched by this madness or any madness. We as a country need to find a way to do better.
