Grief gaslighting is discomfort pretending to be advice. People say stay strong and yet your world is destroyed. Inside the worst has happened and you get treated like you're a TV episode. First episode someone dies, next one you cry, then you're back to life. You get three days off from work. Your world has stopped and yet everyone else's continues. People ask me all the time how long are they going to grieve? I'll say how long is a person going to be dead? Because if they're dead for a long time they're going to grieve for a long time. But that doesn't mean pain. Always we know if you get support, connection and a little grace you can remember those who have died with more love than pain. But in your own time and in your own way want to be in a community that supports you in your grief comment group below and I'll send you all the details.
