Your dating concierge could go and date for you with other dating concierge. No, no, Julie. And then you don't have to talk to 600 people.
So this clip of the Bumble CEO has gone viral recently. So the idea is that I will have an AI in my dating app which is going to talk to your AI and it's going to work out whether we are compatible. And these AIs are basically going to chat to one another, talk about interests, have small talk in order to reach this compatibility decision. Now this sounds a little bit dystopian and a lot of people on the Internet are saying that this is gross and we automating away love. But really I think it's just an extension of the online dating apps already what dating apps are used for is to filter. It's basically a filtration process where in a larger city you might be starting with hundreds of thousands of potential people that you could go on a date with. And the app is a way to winnow that down to a handful. Because we have limited time, we can't go on physical dates with that many people. I think the AI is just a logical next step here. And in a couple of years time, we're not going to think anything.
