Discovered a new productivity hack…? Can’t say i recommend it but… maybe? 😂

The speaker mistook their neighbor's loud acting practice for an assault, got a massive adrenaline rush, and used that heightened state to blast through conference notes for 400 people. It worked, but probably not worth the heart attack.

My upstairs neighbour was screaming, get off me. You're hurting me. Again and again and again. And I just ran out, and I was hammering on the door because I thought she was getting the crap kicked out of her. She came to the door, and I was asking, are you okay? Like, are you safe? Do you need me to get him out of here? And she told me that she's just practicing her lines for a play and that she was sorry and she was glad that it was that convincing. And my heart rate was like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Just hammering. Literally two minutes later, I was on a call with America about a conference talk that I'm going to be giving shortly to 400 people. And I'll tell you what, all that adrenaline coursing through me, it made me productive. It made me creative. These are my notes from the meeting. I was just like, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. Just rattling off ideas. The body's amazing. It given me all this adrenaline, getting ready for a fight, and then it could channel it into creativity and being able to think and come up with ideas on the fly. Now, I'm not officially saying you should get into fights before doing anything creative, but if it works, it works.
