I personally hate business networking

Do you hate networking? If you're anything like me, you probably hate business networking events where you go hang around the drinks table for 15 minutes, talk to one or two people who try to sell you something you really don't need, and then slink out as early as you possibly can. If that sounds right, then I really like this advice from Naval he said networking is overrated. Go do something great and your network will instantly emerge. I talked about this in a recent newsletter and if you're not subscribed, the link is in the bio and I just want to say that this is 100% true. If you go ahead and you build something publicly so that people can see what it is you are building, what it is you are publishing, then others will come to you automatically. You do not need to go out and build your network because it will be built for you by the thing that you are doing. You move from outbound you having to go to events to make links to inbound people coming to you. So stop going to networking events that bring you no value and instead build something that will bring people to you.
