Is ChatGPT getting more stupid? So this is a question I get a lot when I do talks and people asking, I used to use ChatGPT and it used to be more smart and now it's just got dumb. So this is not actually the case. What's actually happening is to do with you, the user, not ChatGPT. Basically, as you become better at using ChatGPT, you're going to start asking it more complex questions and asking it to do more complicated tasks. This is going to push ChatGPT towards the limits of what it can do. When we're first Starting out with ChatGPT, we tend to give it relatively simple things, and then when we see that it can do those successfully, that's when we start to escalate what we expect. The problem is, unless you also upgrade your ability to communicate, your ability to prompt ChatGPT, the results you're going to be getting from these more complicated requests are not going to be what you expect. So ChatGPT is going to do the best it can, but you need to get better given the context, given instructions, giving steps, giving expectations of what you want to chatgpt, if you want to continue to get the same good results.
