Can you do business on TikTok? I want to show something really interesting, a phenomenon that's been happening to me a lot. Basically, people find me here on TikTok and then they contact me over on LinkedIn. Here's a few of my recent messages on LinkedIn. So I follow you on TikTok. I reached out TikTok, transferring it from TikTok. This is just in the last couple of days and I've previously been contacted by companies that are worth billions of dollars. But what happens again and again and again is that people within Companies are on TikTok. They are scrolling through TikTok and they see me pop up. But rather than contact me on TikTok, because that's unprofessional, apparently they will go and check me out on LinkedIn and then contact me there. And then they'll either say, hey, I saw you on TikTok, or later when we have a conversation, they might mention it. This makes for a really strong one two punch where you use TikTok in order to build an audience and get in front of a lot of people, but then you make sure you have an optimized LinkedIn profile so that people can come and check you out, make sure that you're legit and then reach out to you there. Basically, don't underestimate how powerful TikTok can be. It may not seem like a serious platform, but there are serious people who are watching this videos on TikTok, even if they're a bit embarrassed about it.
