I started to feel that our existing Our existing home was getting too big for us. Every time you heated the house, you'd be losing a lot of energy. I've always suffered from allergies, so being in a sealed home was important to me.
We did some homework on other builders that are building green and energy-efficient homes, but we just really didn't kind of get that feeling that they were all over it.
I found Enduro and Jackson, he really knew what he was talking about and he was passionate about this type of construction. We were a bit shocked to start with, but then we started looking into what was included. We'd done our selections, we were given lots of options, everything was quite transparent. We had a fantastic process of building the home. Enduro was able to create larger living areas by making rooms flow off each other. Hopefully over the years my allergies will be a lot easier to deal with.
Working from the inside out and designing a home that's really well built and sealed and insulated and ventilated, by default you get that energy-efficient home. We've got our energy bills at zero now. Which is awesome.
This house is going to be really easy to lock up and leave. John's been able to sort out irrigation and he's got apps for this and that. We'll be able to check in on the house from anywhere in the world. This is a really well-built home. We finished up with this beautiful home that we're loving to be in.
