We are here with Chef Siya on the scene. Are you a giggle-potamus? I don't know if she's ever gonna stop giggling. We are making trail mix. So all good trail mixes have some special ingredient, and today we're using Simply 7's lentil sea salt chips, almonds, cashews, Coconut chips, pepitas or pumpkin seeds, and we have pecans. That's going to be the bulk of our mix, and then after we roast those nuts, we are going to add our crumbled Simply 7 lentil sea salt chips, which you can tell she obviously loves. So help me please and add all these items into this big bowl. I have already 3 tablespoons of butter melted. Oh! We're going to add that to the bowl. Mix them well and then put them in the oven. Now you really want to watch them when they're in the oven because they will burn. And add that butter. Toss the butter really well with all the nuts and seeds. Now pour the nuts onto the tray and you want a single layer. Alright.
The nuts are ready and we're putting in the seeds we made.
Garlic powder, ground mustard, granulated onion, dried buttermilk, dried parsley, nutritional yeast. So, Siya is mixing the seasoning all together. I'm going to grab our warm nuts and seeds, but we're missing the big ingredient, Siya. Do you know what that is? Chips! Chips! I need your help kind of crunching those chips down into more of a bite size. I know, it's tough work. Uh-oh, there's a loose chip.
Ah! Now I'm stirring it, and we're starting it to put— we're starting it to eat it. So that's why we're stirring it up for recipes. That's what we do with all these recipes.
We're gonna just leave this trail mix on the tray to cool, and that's it.
