The speaker recounts prioritizing work (a pizza business) over family, expresses regret about missing time with their children, and warns that buried trauma will eventually manifest as illness, arguing that money is not worth sacrificing family or health.

Once they took control, they fired my team, they changed the recipe, and they put me on sabbatical. It's not worth it. I was gone more than I was home, and I felt like I had to. I look at it back then, cauliflower is number one. My family was somewhere way down, like number 5. If you ask my kids back in 2017, oh, my mom was gone all the time, she had this pizza business. No amount of money is worth sacrificing that. If you have any kind of trauma in your life that you've buried— Which we all do. You gotta deal with it because eventually it will manifest itself into illness. You're gonna wake up one day your youngest kid doesn't go to you and you're sick again, yeah, you got millions in your pocket, but what good does that do if you don't have your family or your health?
