I mean, the average adult in America spends 7 hours and 4 minutes a day on a screen. That's average. 7 hours. And the average 8 to 10-year-old spends 6 hours a day on the screen. It's crazy what's happening. And we're now seeing how this is impacting everything. Normal visual systems and normal brains are not built to withstand what we're doing right now, staring at a screen all day long. What people don't realize is with the right work, with the right brain training, you can get to a place where you thrive in this digital world. But for the vast majority of people, it requires exercise, just like we exercise our body exercising our visual system.
You're seeing the effects of this technology and how it's negatively affecting us, and yet most people are just acting like an ostrich and sticking their head in the ground going, well, we'll just get glasses. Wait a second here. We need to rethink how we're approaching this subject, how we're approaching this technology, because this is not going away.
