Welcome back to the Lead On Purpose podcast. It is that time when I share those key insights from our previous full length episode. I was so fortunate to get to connect with Dan Mangina and and Katie. Incredible author, abundance, mindset, guru. And you know what? He spends time with the likes of Richard Branson on Richard's amazing Necker Island. Oprah Winfrey loves Dan's work. He is an absolute gem and has so many incredible insights. I wanted to share just some of the key takeaways from that episode so that you could distill those and maybe apply those to your life, your business, your work. So here's the first thing. Who you are and how you treat people will show up as blessings you never knew you were going to get. And that just is a great reminder that it doesn't matter who you're connecting with, treat them with compassion, treat them with love. You know, a great thing to do is no matter who you meet, try and treat them like your grandmother, your grandfather. Treat them with absolute.
Gratitude, respect, appreciation. Because you just never know what's going to come back in return. And when you treat people, you're going to get that come back in your direction. So if you treat them poorly, it's going to come back for sure. You treat them well, it's certainly going to come back. Secondly, our unconscious mind operates at 10,000 to 10 million times the speed of our conscious mind. So the vision that we hold in our unconscious mind is what we will end up identifying with. So it's really, really important to have a crystal clear vision of who we want to be. So who do you want to be? When was the last time you asked yourself that? What's going on in your subconscious mind? Are you dreaming small? Are there limiting beliefs in there holding you back that you didn't even know existed? Well, you just got to appreciate that that subconscious unconscious mind is so incredibly powerful.
Now, before I share the last key distinction, I'd love you to do one thing. If you haven't Done it already. Please leave me a rating and review. And obviously these podcasts, these are the short sharp recaps, but those full length podcasts, I'd love to know what you know, the value you get out of them, any things that have helped you in terms of your leadership, your lifestyle, your mindset. In short review that you leave on Apple podcasts or on Spotify, you know, just let me know what it is you love most. And if you do leave a review, take a screenshot and send it through to me by email or through on Instagram. Dm. I've got a free bonus. I want to send you a really powerful leadership bonus as a thank you for taking the time to rate and review the Lead on Purpose podcast. And if you don't have the time to leave a rating and review, please do me a favor and share the podcast with one leadership friend. Somebody who's in leadership, in the community, in business, as a family member, you know, it could be a parent and you think, you know what, they're a great leader. This podcast would serve them well. So look, here's the other thing I want to share with you. You know, if you can't get clear on what you do want, identify what it is that you don't want. And everything that you do want is on the opposite of, of that. So often we struggle to get clear on what our vision is, where we're trying to head, what the end game looks like. How about you reverse engineer it and go, hey, what do I not want? Well, I don't want to be unhealthy. I don't want to be broke. I don't want to be leaving no impact on the people around me. So then you go to the opposite of that. Yeah, I want to be abundantly wealthy. I want to be incredibly healthy. I want to have a massive impact on my community. All of a sudden, figuring out what you don't helps you to get really clear on what you do want. In fact, Dan did share four key steps to creating the life that you truly want. Step number one was accept that you are the author and creator of your own life. Step number two, recognize that you can only make change in a real place, not a fake place. So you gotta be radically present. Step three, develop a positive expectation of an outcome through a sense of gratitude. And lastly, accept that you are human and that not everything will always go to plan. So I really hope that that short, sharp recap helps you. I want you to get out there and apply one of those lessons in your life today. They're short, sharp, but really powerful. So whatever you do, get out there and lead your life on purpose.
