Laughlin names Dr. Glibkowski’s book and summarizes that there are six answer types (examples given: Concept/Metaphor, Story/Theory, Procedure/Action), encourages listeners to focus on answers as well as questions, and closes with calls-to-action (book offer, 2026 goal-setting workshop, subscribe and review).

Please come and join me to set up the very best 2026 you could imagine. If you've set up goals in the past or New Year's resolutions and they haven't substantiated, I'm here to help you across all the key pillars of your life nail your goals. I'll see you there. It's that time when I take a moment to reflect on our most recent guest and give you some of the key takeaways and distinctions that might be really powerful in your life, your work, your relationships, or your business. So look, we had Dr. Brian Glibkowski, who is an author and researcher and is passionate about the role that both questions and answers play in life and business. His journey started with his research on questions. He authored an article on questions that has been recognized by the association of Human resource development as one of 10 articles that will shape the 21st century. Look. His new book is called Answer Intelligence. Raise your aq. That's right, aq, not iq. So here's a few little takeaways for you. So AQ stands for Answer Intelligence. What actually means is the ability to provide elevated answers to important questions. Now, it's interesting because we spend a lot of time, I think, on questions and powerful questions and powerful listening, but we don't often spend much time on powerful answers. So Answer Intelligence is your ability to provide incredible answers to very important questions. This could be in your relationship. There's an important question coming your way. You better have a really elevated answer for that. Could be in your career, could be in your community. But we've all got an opportunity to really elevate the answers that we respond to with those important questions. So you can apply AQ to any industry. It can help in sales, leadership, or any area that you want to influence people. At the end of the day, we're always trying to influence people and this is in an empowering way to lift others up, to guide them and inspire them and set aspirational goals. Well, AQ is going to help you to do that if you are focusing on questions. According to Brian, you need to focus on answers too. And look, Brian Glipkowski is one of the best researchers when it comes to answer intelligence. So if you constantly focus on questions, the challenge from Brian is let's shift it over to focusing on answers as well. He said leadership is like two ropes. Alone they are strong, but when braided together, they are even stronger. And isn't that so true? Look, we can do our own thing, but when we collaborate with others, we create so much more than we possibly could have individually. Look, there are six different answer types and I'm not going to go into the full detail of them. I will give you the six answer types right now, but please go and listen to the full episode. I think it will really add massive value to your life. So the six answer types are Concept and Metaphor. This answers the what question, Story or theory this answers a why question and procedure or action. This answers the high question. So as I say, please go and listen to the full episode so you can go deep on that. And AQ gives you a framework to navigate conversations. Wouldn't you like to have better conversations? Look, for me, honestly, my life revolves around conversations. Whether I'm interviewing great podcast guests, interviewing people on stages, having one to one coaching sessions with incredible leaders and business owners. In my personal life, conversations are the lifeblood of my existence. So for me to have better ways to navigate conversations and conflict, hey, I'm all about it. So please do go and check out that episode with Dr. Brian. I know you will love it. And until next time, please get out there and lead your life on purpose.
