Biohacking has saved my life. I was very depressed. I was in so much pain. 5G towers were rolled out. I couldn't sleep. I had all these issues. I spent 10 days in darkness with no food, releasing exercises, screaming, yelling, humming. We have a lot of trauma that's detrimental to our health especially women tend to give everybody else but themselves. I went into Brazil and I met these psychics randomly. They all led me back to breath. We all want to have more energy, better sleep, better health. We're in a process of massive shift, massive awakening. We actually have the power within us. There's nothing wrong with our ego. It's a Protector. This is Biohacking 101. We're not taught this at school. Right.

Self transformation is not meant to be easy and sometimes it can be quite ugly and confronting. And every now and then I get to invite someone on the show that's doing some very unique things in this space. Pavel Stuklich runs a company called NOAA Aon and it revolves around breath, work, meditation, self discovery. And he's traveling the world delivering incredible workshops where there's live music, there's deep, intense breath work, there's massive transformations. You know, he went from opening up many Orange Theory gyms all around North America. He was an incredible businessman, very, very successful to now going, okay, I know there's a different way to approaching wellness. Well, being self actualization. So today we're going to sit and actually spend a bit of time with him. He flew into Christchurch, he was doing a worldwide tour. So we got to connect for a brief moment. At the end he actually took me through a meditation. Breath work. It Totally blew my mind. My whole body certainly felt the difference. I was sweating, I felt a bit dizzy. It was very interesting. So I'm going to challenge you to sit and really think about what he's presenting here and what he's saying could actually transform how we see things and how we certainly how we feel. I was absolutely intrigued from start to finish and I hope you will be too. So please sit back and enjoy the show. Pavel, a huge welcome to the Lead on Purpose podcast.
Thank you.
I'm so glad that this has happened. You're here in New Zealand. We're very lucky to have you here. I saw that you were doing a tour and I thought, wow, Pavel's on my doorstep and he's doing some ridiculously amazing things. I want to know more and some of it's definitely outside of my knowledge base, my wisdom base, and some of it's even outside my comfort zone. So I'm like, I definitely need to learn more. So I'd like to start with firstly, what is biohacking?
Yeah. So you know, to revert back. Biohacking has saved my life. I used to be sick every two weeks. I had a chronic fatigue Epstein Barr. I was very depressed and I also had a suicidal thoughts in my 18, 19 years old. And funny enough, I used to be a professional athlete. I used to cycle and I would come here and I did Tour of Southland, which was the last time I was in. In your land. And. And after that I had to quit cycling career because I was so messed up with my health. Now that led me into the alternative world because I was not going to take antidepressants. I was not going to do it the conventional way. And biohacking means. And that exact term, you can Google it. But in my words, it's essentially taking charge of your personalized health on the inside and outside the environment around you. And it's all based on data and cutting edge science. So essentially, when you become a biohacker, you take charge of your life on every step of the way from A to Z, from understanding what's your physical health like, your mental, emotional, it can go into spiritual as well. Especially with today's science and research catching up with this. And it means that you're no longer going to just be average person, you're going to perform at your best. And that's. That's what us biohackers are doing in this world.
You've got a movement. Like when I look at biohacking, I see that there's a global movement and it's interesting some clients and some guests also that have been on the show, they're doing incredible things in the corporate world. They're running large billion dollar companies, but they're going to these biohacking events. So this is not for just a specific type of person with a specific type of lean. This is for everyone that's interested in wanting to take their lifestyle, their health, their harmony to the next level, right?
Yeah. And you know, and it can also have a. You know, biohacking is just a label, right? I mean, maybe it's a human optimization, maybe it's transformation. Right. I wouldn't get stuck on it. I think Dave Asprey, the founder of the term and the biohacking, who I worked with for many years at Upgrade Labs and up till today we work with him quite heavily. Essentially he's kind of branded that term. But he was one of us. He was sick, tired, he was obese, and he was really not having it in this life in the simplest terms. And so then because he was a hacker, he was a computer, computer hacker, he start figuring out, well, if you can hack a computer, you can hack your body. And it's ironic because we use that, a lot of that terminology in the consciousness space where I view the mind as the software and the body as the hardware. And whatever you code into the body, it's supposed to listen. But we've become so disconnected from that mind body connection that maybe there is a delay, maybe we don't even have that right feedback. And essentially what we're doing now with the proof of data, with all of these gadgets that are coming into the market, we're able to tell in a real life what each and every step is happening and what is doing it to us. And so whatever, it's supplements, whatever, it's how you sleep, whatever, it's your energy levels. You know, we all want to have more energy, better sleep, better health. But how do we actually quantify that and how do we do that? You know, it starts with testing. It starts with being able to have real life data to prove what we're doing.
I said I really like that. You know, a lot of these things that people look at it go like, come on, how do we know that's going to work? But actually with hacking, you're actually looking at what are the results, the impact, what's the evidence, the science, the data. And to me that's crucial. So I wear the Oura ring. Why? Because I want to get more data. I know it's not perfect and I know it's not absolutely accurate, but actually it gives me a baseline of where my sleep is up and then I know I can obviously level up from there and do different things using different devices, which we're going to look at in a minute. And I just love being able to control, at least have some sense of control over my health and my future health. Because it seems to me that the medical system, this is from personal experience, is really set up to be the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff. And yep, you're sick and you're dying. Okay, here's some stuff. Take it or go to surgery. But actually I want to do the opposite. I want in every way possible for me and my family and my community to be the ambulance at the top of the cliff going, hey, here's how you can hack this, here's how you can level up that optimize your. And to me, it seems to be that's what you're specializing in. But you're not just looking at the physiological side, you're looking psychological, spiritual. You're looking at the whole thing. You said mind, body, disconnection. What do you think is happening in our world right now from a human perspective that is disconnecting mind from body?
Well, if we sum it down to one term, it's fear. And one thing that the superpowers of this world know, the societal norm of whatever it's government, societies that we're being taught, it's keeping us limited. And what is happening, especially I think during COVID people start having a direct reflection of who they are because for the first time they had a time to unhook from the world and actually look in what is working for me? Who am I? Why am I doing the things that I'm doing? And so we're in a process of massive shift, massive awakening. And you know, it's a term that's overused, especially in the spiritual world. But you can see it. You know, how many people in your field, you can talk about meditation, you talk about mental health, you talk about relationships, you know, we're starting to wake up to a point that we actually have the power within us through our choices and the consequences that follow. But what a lot of people don't realize there is the delay. And a lot of people are stuck in that victimhood mindset to save me. And that's by the design. That's literally if you look at the psychosis of this world, you know, it starts with a problem, then it shows you solution, and then you depend you on that solution, which is medical world, which is financial world, that's everywhere now. It doesn't feel right anymore because we're reaching this level of consciousness that we're becoming aware of what's beyond all of this. And so what's really beautiful to see, and we see this from city to city to country to country, the level of people that come to our events, they are ready, they're ready to move into their greatest expression. And truly that's why we're here. We're here to realize, to create, to learn and to live through joy, through love, not through fear. And so to bring it back. You know, when we are in a state of fear, it's measured by hrv. I mean, your HRV score is lower, your heart variability, your stress is up, your sleep is poor. And that's when we're in a constant fight or flight. Now when we are in that state, we're not going to be thinking of how much greater we are, how can we do better decisions and choices because we're stuck in that mindset and feeling to be, you know, quite frankly, fair. And so when we start stepping out of that, when we connect into our breath, when we relax into our body, we start moving into that rest and digest state, that parasympathetic nervous system which we need to balance out, which then starts giving us insights. Now we start having insights that are from that limitless part of us that we all get. Any game changer in this world that have created new invention that came out of, you know, not the psychological mind or the analytical mind, it came from somewhere else that was verified by the gut, that was verified by data. And I think that's what we're doing right now. We're moving into the hearts. So that way the heart. Then we go into the mind, the analytical mind to verify whatever the heart or intuition is telling us. And then the gut is there to make the action, to take the steps.
I love the way that you describe that. As I often think for myself when I'm stuck or however I'm working with a client who's stuck. So how do we get out of the head and into the heart? And I say that often, how do we get out of the head into the heart? Because we speak differently and think differently from the heart. But then also, as you say, there's a gut check, like we got to check things before. Then we get back up into the head to go like, let's take action.
That'S the grounding, right? And I think that's what a Lot of times the spiritual community gets misunderstood is that we get so spiritual and so sometimes wrapped around. Maybe it's psychedelic, maybe it's these like mystical experiences which are awesome. But if we have nowhere to embody it, if we have nowhere to actually use it, what is it for? And this is why, you know, for me, I had a big route of, you know, trying iboga, ibogaine, ayahuasca. I've been on a whole spring because I wanted to heal myself. But it all led me back to breath. It literally all led me back into doing none of that. Maybe every once in a while in a bright setting, on my own, not in a groups anymore. Because what I find is when you have the power inside of you, when you can actually utilize these insights that should be coming to you on everyday basis, right? It shouldn't be just one time. You do ayahuasca and all of a sudden you change your whole life. Those things are always there for you. When we slow it down, we match the frequencies of that subtle vibration, right? Not from that busy beta brain waves. If we look at it from the brain perspective, we go into that alpha theta. And when you close your eyes simply and just slow down your rhythm of your breath, about five and a half seconds in, five and a half seconds out, it's been verified to increase your hrv, increase your heart brain coherence and also lower down your stress. So if you can take one thing today, just start breathing as much as possible in this rhythm and relax your body. We tend to be so tensed up then what we're doing, we're telling our nervous system to calm down, you're safe and you're open to start receiving. And one of my favorite things to do in life is taking these little pauses, taking these little breaks. Maybe it's three seconds before each meeting where you just unhook for a moment and then you go back in. Because it allows that space of neutrality to come place. So that way we are not constantly doing, doing, doing from one place to another, living somewhere outside of us.
That's really powerful. And I love that you go back to breath. You know, I've had lots of people on the show that are specialists in that area around stress mitigation. And what I understand looking at Dr. Joe Dispenza's work is that there is that brain heart coherence when we start to tap into meditation or breath work, mindfulness and tapping into consciousness. So in terms of breath, that five and a half cycles per, is it per minute?
So five and a Half seconds in, five and a half seconds out, always through your nose. That's another thing we know, based on longevity science, that you can extend your lifespan with just breathing in and out your nose. Because we're over breathers and we're mouth breathers and we know that through mouth breathing we can create bacteria in our mouth. It can mess up our just dental work in general, which is connected to our brain. And one of the ways, by the way, you can fix this within the first 30 days, you just. Mouth tape.
Okay?
So if you mouth tape while you're asleep, it retrains your body to only breathe in and out your nose in your everyday basis because it's, you know, breath work is, is an autonomic nervous system job, right? Especially when we sleep. But if we're sleeping with our mouth open, we snore. We also, you know, sleep apnea is, is caused by this. And most of it can be healed with simple mouth taping for about three weeks. It depends on each person. But you will stop snoring. You will start increasing your nitric oxide levels. You're going to use the nose as a filter. So it's strengthening your cardiovascular system and it has all of this huge benefits on our everyday life.
I want to try it, I really do, because one, I've been told I snore. I'm yet to see the proof, but I've been told I snore. And both of my. Definitely Caroline will back that up. You snore? My, my nose, the turbinates in my nose are fully inflamed. So if you were to look up there, you were like, James, where does the air flow through? And it's, it's to do with inflammation. So could I give it a go safely? Take my mouth and just give it a go? And I don't need to start by doing one hour at a time. I just go straight into it for a night.
Yeah, that's, that's the best one. So right before you sleep, kiss your wife. And then I, I've had some funny moments. Then my wife starts talking and I'm.
Like, that's really good.
You can't cut, can't talk, it's finished. So I'm like, okay, I'm not going to be mouth taping and then I'll see you in the morning.
I love it. I'm going to try it. So three weeks, 21 days. Give it a try.
Yep.
Cool. I'm going to give it a go and see what happens there.
Absolutely.
That's brilliant. Now let's talk a little bit about consciousness. And I know for some people say, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, it's getting too uncomfortable for me. But actually when we start to look at it, we are interconnected, we are all working as one in a certain way. But what is consciousness from your experience? And how do we experience it? How do we tap into it?
Yeah, so it's a very broad term right now here is what I was taught. So I spent 15 years traveling the world and learning from some of the most sought out and some of the craziest shamans, gurus, teachers. And it was because I was in so much pain. And you know, when I, when I quit cycling, I went into this whole entrepreneur route and I, for about six years I opened almost 100 locations, Orange Theory Fitness locations. So I like put all of my endurance, all of my, you know, energy into just being a businessman because again, what's the societal norm, right? Make money, get yourself a kids and have a great life. But yet I was burned out again, I was tired again and I was like, for what? Even though I had all this purpose, I had a huge lack of purpose. So here's what I did. Every three months I committed myself that I'm going to do something out of my comfort zone. Whatever I believed in it or not, I just listened to my heart and I had an open heart and open mind. That was always important because the minute we shut something down before we even talk about it, it's not going to work for you. Right. Like we're just immediately canceling that information. So I was open. And one of those trips that I took, I went into Brazil and I met these psychics randomly that taught me, you should come to our village. And I'm like, sure, I'll come to your village. You know, my open minded, open heart. And I came in there as a busy entrepreneur, not a spiritual teacher yet, not really interested and open. But what they taught me was that we've got five physical senses that a lot of times get us in trouble because of the instant gratification. And then we've got four psychic senses or spiritual gifts. Now everybody has this and this is the way the consciousness or the higher aspect of us speaking is speaking to us. Now what I understand from this term, we've got this higher self or realized self or I like to call it the original source energy that gave us life when we're born. Chi mana prana. You know, so many different titles for this, but without that we wouldn't be alive. You know, there is this Energy field. Lifeblood, almost lifeblood or soul spirit. Right? Many different again like ways to look at it. But to me that's that conscious part of us that's already realized. Now how does that talk to us? It communicates with the small self or the egoic self, which there's nothing wrong with our ego. It's a protector. But it's limited. It only knows whatever we learned from the past projects into the future. And this is why sometimes you know, science or this analytical over analytical ways of looking at life can be very limiting. Because some of these things are limitless, right? It's like out of the norm that we're taught. Now let's talk about those four senses. The sense number one is your inner hearing. And these are the little whispers. I'll show you how everybody has them. And it's the little whisper telling you quit drinking alcohol, start working out, maybe turn off the Netflix at night. This little voice is not that loud monkey brain that keeps on repeating the same thing, right? 95% of our thoughts are just cycle and repetition of nonsense from the past into the future. But this voice has always your has gotten your back. Now how you know that it has your back? It will never tell you to slap a neighbor, right? It's never going to tell you to hurt someone or damn someone, right? And what you damn damns you back. That's by the way a universal law. Now what happens is when you start listening to this voice and you simply acknowledge it, you say thank you. I heard that. What you gonna do about that? Now when you start following that voice and this is personal experience, it became louder and louder until it start integrating with the egoic part of me, the monkey brain. Now the monkey brain is a tool, right? So I always call it like a billboard when you're driving the road, you can choose to listen to whatever it says or you can just pass on. Right? Now that's what mind is for. It's here to book a flight transfer between bank accounts. It's to build a business plan, but fueled by this higher mind or this higher aspect of us that's already realized. So what start happening, it start increasing. Now some people so have a more prominent senses than the others. And I'll quickly explain the other three just so it makes sense. The second sense is your inner seeing, which is the visionaries of the world. You know, any visionary that built a business plan or entrepreneur, right, it was a vision of a product or something new that's not here yet that's going to happen. Maybe a year from now. But they work backwards because of that vision that they have. This also comes through lucid dreaming or some people are prompt to colors. We see this in every single city. There's literally people asking us, did you flash out lights on me? And we're like, no. This is your brain producing colors. And you're prompt in this sense. So when you start seeing things, you simply acknowledge it. Thank you. I saw that. What you gonna do about that? The third sense is your inner feeling. And it starts from your solar plexus extending into your hands. And essentially you can tune into this area and then you can tune into your body, you can tune into someone, you can tune into decision. And it comes from the sense of feeling. So it's like in your body. Now, to give you an example, if you've ever walked into a room and maybe there was a fight right before you, but maybe you didn't even know that there was a fight, something doesn't feel right, or you had a wrong feeling about a person or situation, it's in your body, and it's this sense that is communicating to us all the time. Now, we're not taught this at school, right, because we would be limitless with these senses, because you bypass any science, because you get this limitless information that is of your highest good all the time. So that's your inner feeling. And also pranic healing or reiki healing, it's all based on this empathic sense or being an empath. Now then, you've got your inner knowing. And this one is the hardest one to discern. It's also, people call it intuition. And this is when you think you don't know. When you know, you don't require to think. So that's how you discern it. And to give you an example, you knew you shouldn't have gone to the party, or you knew that that person was cheating on you. Whatever it was, business partner or partner, like you just. It was in every bone of your knowing without requiring to think about it. And this is the reason why it's so hard to discern, is because our monkey brain has an agenda. And so sometimes the second or third thought is not really something to listen to anymore. But with acknowledging these senses, you build them up, you strengthen them, and that's this consciousness communicating to us constantly, giving us the right path of why we came here. So think about yourself as a receiver, right? Of. Of frequency vibration constantly, right, resonating in and out. And think about every situation in your life, giving you a direct feedback. You Know, for example, neurofeedback in. In the. In the. In the brain world, right? It gives you an instant feedback based on where your brain is. Well, so does life. And so if you look at your life for a moment and let's say, just think about your constant thoughts, you know, are they positive, are they negative? Your emotions. Look at your abundance. That's, by the way, a great measure. You know, you should be abundant with health, with. With wealth, with every aspect of our life. And if any of those aspects of your life are not of your highest good or of your highest, you know, achievement or what you feel or determine based on your judgment, those are things to look at. But in our world, we tend to focus on those things that are easy, which makes our life hard instead of focusing on those things that are hard first. So life becomes easy. So when I stop becoming this victim of my own life, I start taking charge of my life. I simply start looking at every situation as an opportunity to grow higher and deeper. And so to end this, it's a long stride. I used to think that I can only get lessons through the gutter. So if it didn't hurt, if I wasn't sick, if it wasn't this hard, long processes to go through, I wouldn't be good enough, or it wouldn't be good enough information. But that's not why we came here. We came here to enjoy love and joy and ease and peace. So when I cleared all of this, my life now is abundant on every level. I have the most magical relationships, business partnerships, experiences. So all of those things that I used to struggle with, it just left me when I looked in and when I solved those things that were hard.
That's amazing. Thank you for sharing that depth. And I imagine because you do events all over the world, like almost every country I've looked at, you're doing an event. When someone comes to an event with you, what do they experience? What are the things that you do? I know that I'm a music fan, a former drummer, so I know that you're a DJ and you use music and sound to connect with people. There's breath, work, there's meditation. I mean, those things are all right up my alley. I love all those things. Right, but what does it look like to come to an event? And how do people leave? You know, what are they feeling like when they leave your event?
Hey, James here. I wanted to take a quick moment to let you know about something. Look, I get asked to deliver keynotes and workshops for teams and companies all over the world from London to Antarctica, from America to Australasia. From armies to small businesses to large corporates, to sports teams. But I go in and deliver keynotes around the mindset of high performers, around the habits of high performers, about how we navigate change. If you would like me to come and speak to your team or speak at your conference or deliver a bespoke workshop, please get in touch with my team. Carolinejlochlan.com will be able to help. I'll also make sure that we put that in the show notes.
Yeah. So where it started, about eight years ago, I went into a dark room for the first time. And I spent 10 days in darkness with no food. And again, I walked in there as an entrepreneur. I gave my cell phone back and I was so burned out. I just wanted peace. Now what I got was a complete 360 change of my life. Because what came to me, it was day seven where I finally surrendered. I start crying and purging and I went into this pure state of bliss. And for the first time in my life, I have touched myself for who I am, not for who I am, not. Not for what I'm being told. And in that moment I had this sequence of insights that were there spontaneously, but I never followed that. And those were. It was like a bucket of dreams because I stopped being a dreamer. And that's, by the way, so important that we never stop dreaming. Now. In that moment, the vision of Noah Aeon came about. And so Noah means movement. Aeon is all or none. And it symbolizes duality. Now I was so sick and tired of living in a life of a ping pong match, highs and lows and good days and bad days, that I knew there was another way. And that was coming back into the center, coming back into the happiness, health and harmony me. So when I walk out of there, I rediscovered my passion, which was always music. And so I learned how to dj, how to produce in solfeggio frequencies on a modern beat on or tribal beat. We use a lot of Afro.
Spiritual shamanic flutes and drums, but with a house bass. So it's fun.
I love it.
Now my purpose became. I've had so many of these experiences like dark darkroom or the. The psychics in Brazil. I was done with being in self mastery. I knew I have to come into service. And so my purpose became teaching in lectures, workshops, retreats and immersive experiences, which is what we're doing tonight. It's called a system reset, which is the. The main one that we travel with. And so that was the message of that. And the legacy, which was the third aspect or the third gift I got was how do I make means with living in service? Because I only knew how to make money as an entrepreneur, as a capitalistic, you know, person, which I hated that person because I was living in this unequal way of doing business. And even though maybe it was a win win, I now want to live in a triple benefit, you know, where it benefits me, benefits the other person, but also benefits the whole ecosystem that we live on. So I walked out of there, learned how to produce music, start creating this whole experience. And this is about eight years ago. And essentially what came to my mind was how do I bring all of these tools that I've learned that have science behind them and put that into an immersive interactive workshop. So that's essentially what we're doing. We combine breath, work, meditation and dance. We call it the BDM Breath Dance meditation into a little lecture foundation. And really what it does, it takes people into these transient states where they can face their mind, their emotions, their physical health issues, their relationships. And so in our events, it's a roller coaster. We make people imagine person that have hurt them the most. And we do this releasing exercises, screaming, yelling, humming. It's a full blown experience that I picked up on from all these different places. Integrate it into a modern way of life so it can serve the mainstream market, not just one small vertical. And now we do this for CEOs, executives, conferences, retreats. It really has been applied to many different forms and the way people leave. So we, we pay a huge attention to detail. We ask everyone before to send us their why, their transformation. So we adjust it based on the cases that come to us. We have a lot of trauma, we have a lot of different, you know, avenues that people are dealing with. And then after the event, we do a 30 day journey with an integration part and meeting a buddy, somebody they don't know, an accountability partner to hold onto this and use these practices for the next 30 days. So it's kind of like a whole ecosystem that we've created and we do about 150of these per year.
Wow.
We're constantly on the road. We're on a mission to unify the world one person at a time through these tools. And it became such a powerful thing that people feel release, people find their purpose. Some people get divorced, I hate to.
Say, I bet there's big transformation.
Sometimes I'm like, oh, I'm sorry, but I'm happy for you because they realign back. And that's what did darkroom for me. You know, I finally hurt my true self again. I finally realigned into my path here on earth. I finally heard these senses again. And so it's the remembrance of who we are. We're actually not doing anything. We're just allowing this beautiful place for people to come and find themselves again.
Incredible. And in terms of that pre work so someone wants to come along to the event, they fill in the work about the sheet about their challenges. Is there anybody this is not for or that it could be dangerous or unstabilizing for?
So you know what I've noticed is the people that have bad experience are people that are not ready to see this just yet, that are still in that judgment fear based mindset. And again, there's nothing wrong with it, right? It's just, well, you got to be open and ready to see yourself. And so that sometimes what I see is that there is a little bit of that. But it's so crazy. The people that we attract, it's such a versed crowd like you will never see this anywhere. It's from any gender, any ethnicity, any place. Because I think, you know, our intention is to unite the world. And no matter who it is, who is, you know, being called to this, we welcome these people into these experiences.
It's incredible. And I'd love to talk a little bit about the tools. So you and I have looked at some of these tools that you use and they're really incredible. Some of them I have used. In fact there's a watch here, looks like what? It looks like a watch. I had the founder of this Apollo Neuro on the show some time ago. So I'd love to look at some of these and I'm sure the listeners and viewers would love to know what they are about and how they can help them maximize and optimize their lives.
Yeah, so what I start doing, you know, in my quest I looked for tools that are. So we've got two tools or two major things that we have on our, on our market. One is EMF because I had this whole experience during COVID when 5G towers were rolled out. I became depressed, I couldn't sleep. I had all of these issues and little did I know I was actually EMF sensitive. And there's many of us, there's about 35% of population that are EMF sensitive and 3% of population that are hypersensitive people that literally cannot be on their phones, computers. They're instantly getting reaction.
Wow.
Now in this process. I didn't really believe in EMFs to begin with because it's such a contradicting thing. You know, if you Google on. On if you Google our EMFS harmful it will tell you there's no studies that. That prove that. And then we did our own dive into this. We have actually whole webinar on this if anybody wants to learn.
Yeah, I'll put in the show.
We can list it.
That'd be great.
And we just did our true like findings of what we actually found. There is over 6,000 studies proving that is detrimental to our health.
Wow. Electromagnetic fields come from our phones, our telephones, our TVs, vehicles, I'm sure. Different.
Correct. So. So there is a man made and non man made or natural? Natural is sun. We've been around it forever. We can observe it. We're just fine. You know, in a. In a smaller doses. Right. Nothing too much is good for us. But the man made, you know, it's really just the last hundred years that we've been exposed to this. And so you know, in the webinar we actually talk about there is nine out of 10 cell phones are way over the safety limit based on the safety limit of the actual governments.
Wow.
So. So there's so much to explore in this and whatever it's your smart. Anything smart is actually quite dumb. I hate to break it.
Let's go. Like the Oura Ring and the Garmin, both of those are giving off emf.
They are. So Oura Ring, you can actually turn it off. So it only uploads a couple times a day. And you know, small doses is fine, especially if you're earthing. So if you do use, if you, if you go on a ground once a day. Highly advice by the way. And there is an amazing documentary about earthing in general and you being in New Zealand. I mean you've got earth everywhere which I love so much. But that actually helps you absorb and, and bring your frequency back to the natural state. But think about it. You know any appliances right now they are all connected to WI fi. You know for what WI fi in general. We turn off WI fi at night at our house because that messes with your sleep. And you can by the way, Oura Ring is the best way or any HRV device can measure that. The other part is Bluetooth. So anything that's cordless would be really cautious with. I always use cords. Or we have something called defender shield where you have a little tube in between and that way it blocks the EMF coming into your body.
So essentially like the Apple AirPods, right. I'm old school, I like the wires and I just put them in. But the Apple AirPods, you're literally putting them inside your head. And it's I guess to do with duration. They could be in there for 30 to 60 minutes. So duration and then also proximity if they're going to be right close to your brain and they're there for a long period of time. So that must increase risks, I imagine hugely.
And so. So what's crazy think about emfs. The easiest technology is toxins. Right. You know, you can only take so much toxins before something bursts. And that's what you see nowadays. I mean, people have headaches. There's so much brain cancer or even just, you know, around our ears. There is. There's a huge deficit in sleep depression. So if you ever feel just iffy, unexplained issues and everything is fine on your blood results. Which was. That was me then that's an overexposure to ems.
Wow.
Now there is a ways to mitigate it. So safety in distance, really important. Don't use your phone. Right. On your ear. You know, put it on a speaker.
Yeah.
Have it on airplane when you don't use it. You know, we don't need it all the time. And it's actually great for our consciousness because we can actually go inward.
We can distill our focus.
Yes. With computers. I mean we also use a few different tools. How it will not get especially on your labs because if you look at our fertility rates, they're going crazily down. Whatever it's men or women. And that's one of the huge causes is electromagnetic frequencies. I also use EMF clothing when I fly. So I literally buckle myself and I'm completely protected from.
From that.
And then I use something called waveguard. It's a. It's a key technologies that works on depolarization. So it actually re naturalizes the harmful EMF around your space. It's a groundbreaking technology. There's nothing else that works this way. It's. And that's what. What I found as a solution to my problem.
Incredible. I can have this in your home and just home.
I travel with it. We have a small one that's portable. I literally keep it under my seat on a plane because we fly so much. And you also have a high altitude radiation. Right. That's another big issue that we, you know, have to.
So I fly a lot and so every other week or so I'm on a plane. So I should be considering the fact that I am exposing myself to more radiation than I should be.
Oh my gosh. 100%. So. So first of all, whenever you fly, right, do a deep breath work. Maybe like three, four rounds of WIM HOF retention breath. You know, that one is really baseline. Do it before your flight and do it when you land. When you land, go on the ground to ground your feet because it helps you reset your circadian rhythm into the place where you add. So also jet lag, the other thing, I take high dose of glutathione and vitamin C during the flights to support detox and then take binder at the end just so you can help flush it out. Infrared sauna, sweating or exercise is also really good. Anything that you can get these toxins out. I also use ionizer. I have a little ionizing device when I fly to ionize my air around me. Because if you think about jet lag, right, the biggest issue is the loudness. So soundproofing headphones. And this is when you know, I actually it's really hard without Bluetooth. So you can find different ones that are just soundproofing or put a, put a little earbuds in light. So I use red light because it's a junk light altogether. When you're flying, never eat the airport food or airplane food.
So much preservatives I imagine in there.
So gross. Yes. I usually take fasts on those days if it's a long flights or I just have something with me or liquid. Liquid diet is amazing because less harm you can take on the body because it's already going through so much harm when you're flying. Right. So better for your recovery. 100 and then then EMF clothing. So I use, you know, full top down so that way you know, it can shield you from it. And then you know, mitigating as much as you can, you know, exposure to any sorts of light pollution, sound pollution or toxins in general. So that way your body can recover that much faster.
That's amazing. And we do need to consider that. I think too many of us just say oh, it can't be that bad. But you mentioned fasting so often when I'm flying I prefer not to eat the food. So I'll just use that as a fast. So I intermittent fast every day, usually around 17 hour window of fasting and then 7 is my eating window. Is that part of biohacking? Is fasting a part of being a biohacker?
100%. Now fasting with care is really Important. So a lot of people get addicted to fasting and we start producing a lot of ketones and ketones will make us feel not hungry. And this is really important, especially for women. There's a certain cycles that you're going through that you want to weave in and out of intermittent fasting, even for men. So I've actually did this for about a year straight where I was just intermittent fasting and I was malnutrient. So when I got a blood test, you know, I didn't get enough food in those or enzymes in eating window, in that eating window. So what I start doing is weaving in and out about two to three days on, you know, one or two days off, just whatever feels right. It's really important to listen to your body. And also using something called dirty keto diet. Diet where I still take carbs at night to help me sleep and up until the night meal. I'm primarily keto. No, you know, very little carbohydrates, heavy on fats, healthy fats. You know, I travel with MCT oil, I travel with ghee with me because it's an essential, especially with you can't find always, you know, high quality food.
Of course it makes sense. And there was a couple of things in here that I wanted to look at. So I think this was quite fascinating. This was the blue light. So essentially in the morning we want to be getting, as we wake up into natural light as quick as possible in a lot of places, whether it's cloudy or it's winter. And we don't get the sun, we don't get that. And so what is this?
So this is how it looks like. I start with this every single morning. You can still see through it, but you want to get the blue light inside of you. So blue light is harmful for us at night, but in the morning we need blue light to activate our circadian rhythm. So the first thing in the morning for about 30 minutes. Now you don't have to use this. You can just go in the sun. Like that's ultimately the gold standard. You know, go in the sun, be barefoot. Maybe here I would go in the ocean, take a little dip because that's all just starts your metabolism and also it activates fat burning, especially in the morning, first thing. But if you are in the winter or if you're in Canada or, you know, anywhere where there is not much light in a certain amount of time, you want to always have this, some form of blue light in the morning because it will activate your energy, your circular rhythms. Will set off. And also I like to delay my caffeine intake about 90 minutes after I wake up. So that way your adenosine levels can start naturally decreasing and you don't have the afternoon, you know, or low.
It's interesting you say that because I know Dr. Andrew Huberman has done pretty deep research on that, on adenosine levels, and he also agrees. Wake up, get the natural light, move your body, don't engage in caffeine until 60 to 90 minutes after waking where the levels are then leveled out. But also make sure if you are drinking caffeine, get it in earlier in the day because it has a half life, I think, of about eight hours, six to eight hours or something, and then a quarter life of around almost 12 hours. So, yeah, I think it's important for us to think about the things we do every day, when we do it, why we do it now. There's. Go ahead, sir.
Yeah, well, and this is biohacking 101, right? So what we're saying is like, exactly, like looking at all of this data, looking at what's been studied, because everything has been studied. I mean, there's so much of this that has already been proven but not available to us. Right. And so this is why, like biohacking is not, you know, hacking or it's not stealing or cheating. It's being effective in every decision that we make. And if your choice is that you want to be highly productive, energized, being sleep like a monster in the best way possible, then guess what I mean, we're going to create more in life. We're going to have a better relationships. We're going to show up to our husbands and wives in a, in a whole new level. And you know, I used to be tired and exhausted and irritated and you know, like, that's not the standard. You know, our standard needs to go way higher.
Totally. I'm with you on that. And look, there's always one last question I want to ask is because I want to be mindful of your time, you're getting ready for an amazing event tonight. But one last question. So imagine you and I fast forward into the future, many, many years into the future, and you're aware that it's your last day here on earth and someone very young who you love comes into the room and I say, pavel, how do I go about leading my life on purpose? What would you say to them?
Well, it's funny because our end of meditation every single time we call it a tree of life is a holographic. Memory of your last breath that you take. And then we go backwards. It's 10 years, five years, three years, and we break it down into all the way into a one day. And then basically work through every single day focusing on your dreams. So that way you live your whole life in purpose. And so everything that I say, I do. So nothing that we teach is some concept. It's something that I've truly embodied. And then I speak about it. And so when you ask me this question, I will answer it with this flow that everybody can, can do. And this is how I categorize my whole life. So once a day, I take the first hour just for myself is the golden hour when I unhook from everyone and everything that determines how my day is going to look like. I visualize the day. I do breath, work, meditation, sound, it depends, right? Like I play with it. I use also this little tool, Nervizer, which helps with neuroplasticity and brings you straight into presence. So, you know, not stress. And then I then go into once a week where I take a full day off, the first half day completely without anyone, even including my family. Because here's the deal. If we continue to living somebody else's life, we continue living for someone else. Where is us, where is you? Where is me? Right? That most important part is yourself always first. And especially women tend to give everybody else but themselves. So it's important that we take that day once a week to revisit our past week and then see if we are on that dream goal or I call it a dream state or purpose, right? Then once a month, I take four days off, completely unhook. No digital world. A lot of times it's also no physical food. And I again go deeply in. I look at my past month, I look at the following month. So that way I continue making every choice and consequence in my hand. There's no surprises in my life because I'm creating my life, which is how we're meant to be creating our lives.
Life by design.
Life by design. Once a year, I spend 10 days in darkness. And I always say it's 10 to 15 days completely off, unhooked from the world. It doesn't have to be darkness, right? Maybe you take a beautiful cabin somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Maybe you, you know, whatever fills your heart. Stimulation, it's no stimulation. It's time for you to go into timelessness without computers, journaling, writing. What is serving me? Where am I going? Because what happens is the first time I went to the Dark room. My whole life changed.360. But the second time, minor adjustments. Third time, minor adjustments. And then now I'm going to go on a fifth time next, next March. And basically I'm just so excited because I'm on the path in my purpose, living this every day. And I never thought this would be possible, but I'm literally living my dream every single day. We were just tearing with my wife a couple days ago. We're like, we're literally living our dreams every single day. We would not change anything and I never thought I would get there, but it gets there through these blocks. So I know it wasn't a direct answer, maybe for my life, but in a ways, this is exactly how I live the life that we're living today.
It's seriously inspiring. It's amazing. I want to wish you nothing but the best for the years ahead with your travels as you impact humanity and the work you do is truly special and for many they're trying to get their heads around it and understand it. But I know fast forward 10, 15 years this is going to become very part of the mainstream of what we need to do to enjoy our lives and to be more purposeful. So thank you for creating the space. Wishing you the best and I look forward to connecting again soon.
Thank you so much for what you're doing because I want to end it with how important your work is because education creates inspiration which gives people motivation to make results. So you are such a huge catalyst for so many. So thank you.
