I'd like to ship you a free copy of my book, Habits of High Performers. If you come and join the 2026 goal setting workshop, I will ship you one of these today. The link is in the notes. Please come and join me to set up the very best 2026 you could imagine. If you've set up goals in the past or New Year's resolutions and they haven't substantiated, I'm here to help you across all the key pillars of your life nail your goals. I'll see you there. Well, I'm about to do something that I haven't done for a long time, and that is take a break. That's right. Lead On Purpose podcast that many of you listen to every single week. Some of you listen twice a week. We're going to take a little break. Why? Because rest is a necessity. It's not a luxury. It's what I preach to my clients that I work with one to one. It's what I talk about when I'm on stages delivering keynotes. I've got to practice what I preach. So this is just a short message to say we're going to take a couple of weeks off and we will start back in early January. But I just want to wish you all an incredible Christmas and I hope that you spend that time with people that you love. If Christmas is something that you celebrate, then I hope you enjoy that. If it's not and you just have some time off, I hope you enjoy that, too. But more than anything, I think it's just a reminder for all of us, no matter what our background is, what our ethnicity is, our religious beliefs, just to connect, connect with ourselves and connect with the people that are most important. We've had some incredible guests on the show this last year. It's been phenomenal. And I just want you to take a moment to give yourself a pat on the back for actually being invested in your own growth and in your own development. Now, look, there is a special guest that's going to say a very quick hello today. I do talk about him quite a bit on the podcast, and that is my little son, Finn. Finn hasn't featured on the podcast yet. So this is it, Finn, Come on and join us. Come and say hello.
Hi, guys.
So, Finn, how old are you?
Seven.
Seven. And what are you excited for about Christmas?
Santa's Presents.
Santa's Presents. I love it. Now, Finn, what's the thing that you've enjoyed a lot this year when you think back on 2023, what have you really enjoyed. Anything in particular?
Laser tag.
Laser tag. Yeah, we enjoy playing laser tag. We're pretty competitive, aren't we? What else? Any other big things that were really cool?
Biking.
Biking. We do a lot of biking. We like mountain biking. It's funny, even though we fall off every now and then.
Yeah.
And what's one thing you're really excited for for next year?
H.
My teacher.
Yeah. New teacher. You love going to school, don't you?
And this teacher is really nice.
Yeah. Good. I'm so glad. And for anyone that's listening there, what would you say is the most important thing that they should do with their families.
If they have kids? Spend time with them.
That's brilliant advice. Thank you. Well, folks, you've heard it here and you've now met Finn. Spend time with your family and just enjoy it. If you've got kids, spend time with those. If you've got grandkids or nephews or nieces, get around people. Have fun. But for now, Finn and I are going to go and hang out with Caroline and our dogs and our cat and just have fun, eh?
Yeah.
Folks, take care and don't forget to get out there and lead your life on purpose.
Bye.
