Episode 17 – Creating a Mind Movie to Manifest the Life of Your Dreams

In this solo episode of the Super Connections podcast, host Jennifer K. Hill introduces listeners to the concept of a “mind movie”—a dynamic, music‑backed vision board designed to help manifest personal goals and purpose. She begins by explaining the origins of mind movies, referencing Glenn and Natalie Ledwell and their connection to Joe Dispenza, then moves into a guided heart‑focused breathing meditation to quiet the egoic mind and connect to one’s higher self. After the meditation, Jennifer walks listeners through a step‑by‑step workflow: (1) quiet contemplation and journaling to identify what truly matters; (2) compiling a list of 5‑20 specific desires; (3) using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Canva to generate tailored images (including the option to insert personal photos); (4) assembling the images into a short movie, either via ChatGPT (image‑only), mindmovie.com, or Canva, which adds music and text; (5) watching the completed mind movie daily—ideally in the morning or before sleep—while reciting a personal statement of intent or daily declaration. Jennifer illustrates the power of this practice with a client story about “Susan,” a laid‑off mother who, after following a daily declaration, secured a new job and cherished time with her family. Throughout, she emphasizes the importance of aligning wishes with one’s highest good, using AI as a creative ally rather than a threat, and encourages listeners to adopt the mind‑movie process alongside other tools featured on the show. The episode ends with a call to action to rate, follow, and share manifestation results.

Hello friends, and welcome back to episode 17 of Super Connections Podcast. I'm your host, Jennifer K. Hill, bringing you wisdom each week from different thought leaders around the world, authors, scientists, and others who can help you to super connect to yourself, others, and your purpose. As well as offering you some of my favorite tools and techniques that I use for super connecting in my own life. So today will be a very fun super connection episode with one of my new favorite tools that I've personally been using in my own life to super connect to my purpose and the life of my dreams, which I want for each and every one of you. Have you ever heard of something called a mind movie? I had the pleasure of getting to know Glenn Ledwell and Natalie Ledwell, who created mind movies. And I believe, if I'm not mistaken, they might have sold it to Joe Dispenza at some point. So despite having known them, I had never actually tried this idea of a mind movie. I think you can go to mindmovie.com and try it, though I'm going to share with you today a way that I've learned to create my own mind movies and that you can too. So what does this mean? A mind movie is like a vision board on steroids. Have you ever had a dream or wish or hope? Maybe it's to find your dream house, Or your soulmate, or to have a family, or travel the world, or sell a company. Whatever that is, those are things that in the traditional sense you could put on a vision board. Now, we've been having wonderful guests on the show lately, like Poppy D'Annunzio, who just joined us, Giovanni Marsico, all sharing how to reverse engineer and manifest a life of your dreams. And we have another exciting episode for you next week With Nico, who's gonna share his tool from Vision Espresso. So this is a fun in-between tool to teach you how to create the life of your dreams using a series of images put to music. So at any given time, I coach about 5 to 6 CEOs, and when I've been working with them lately, I've been doing it for them. And I started off doing it for myself about 9 or 10 weeks ago. And the reason I'm so excited to share this with you today Is that it blew my darn mind what I was able to create in a very, very short period. So let's talk about this for a second. So in the mind movie, you want to create a series of anywhere from 5 to 10 images. You could probably even do up to 20. I am by no means an expert. I'm just playing with this in real time with you and with my clients as I'm learning this and sharing this with others. So however many slides you want, maybe start with as few as 5 or as many as 20, but find whatever feels right for you. And then ask yourself, what do I want to create? So I invite you to make a list of things that are important to you. Maybe it's a picture of your dream home. Maybe it's flying first class somewhere. I remember many, many years ago when I was doing this the old-fashioned way, using a corkboard that was like ripped out pieces of a magazine with words that I wanted on it and flying first class and things like that. I remember sitting in my bath one day where I used to have the vision board, and it would sit right in front of my bath so I could stare at it in a peaceful, calm state every evening as I enjoyed a bath. And I remember looking at the vision board one day and just being awed and inspired by all of the things on the vision board that had happened at that point in my life. This was about 7 or 8 years ago. So fast forward to present day, having met Glenn and Natalie and hearing about Mind Movies, but never having tried it myself. This is when ChatGPT, of course, is exploding around the world and we're all using it day to day in our lives. And it got me thinking one day back in about March or April of, oh wow, I wonder if I could stream together a series of images and turn it into something that is like a mind movie. Of course, that's their trademark thing, mind movies, but it's just a series of images strewn together to music in a way that uplifts and inspires you. And again, Joe Dispenza is very well known for doing something like this in his programs as well of Backing emotions on the side of something you truly desire. Okay, so you ready to do this? I'm gonna walk you through step by step. Step 1, spend time in quiet contemplation and ask your higher self, what matters to me? What matters to me? We began actually the Super Connection series where I taught you something called heart-focused breathing by HeartMath. That is one of my favorite ways when I'm working with clients and facilitating events, To help people connect to what matters to them. First is we need to quiet the egoic mind because our egoic mind might have something in mind that it wants or desires, but it might want it not from our highest and best good. And as you'll quickly learn in using these technologies like Poppy talked about and Gio talked about, and Nico will be teaching us here soon in the next week, is that we have to be careful what we wish for. There's a reason that there's that old adage, you know, the genie in the lamp that comes out. We have to be very thoughtful of What we're asking for and why we're asking for it. So whatever this looks like for you, whether you choose to use heart-focused breathing like we did in episode 1, or if you want to do vagal nerve or box breathing, breathing into the count of 4, holding for 4 seconds, breathing out to the count of 4, and then breathing in again, whichever one of these methods you want, or even just general meditation using your favorite mantra or guided meditation. I invite you to sit quietly for at least 2 to 3 minutes before you do this exercise. In fact, you know what I'm gonna do? We're gonna drop in right now. We're gonna spend 2 to 3 minutes of heart-focused breathing together in case you wanna do it in real time with me. And then after that, I encourage you to go back and to begin to wonder and explore and ask yourself, what matters to me? Okay, you ready to do this? So if you're in a place where you're not driving and you can do so, I invite you to put both feet firmly on the floor, place both hands on your legs, arms uncrossed and legs uncrossed. And if you can, shut your eyes. Though if you're listening to this while you're driving or walking, I either invite you to come back later and pause and then listen to this later, or you can do the heart-focused breathing technique you may remember with your eyes open. So this is a technique by HeartMath that's been being studied for 40+ years and has had great, great scientific evidence. And again, Joe Dispenza uses this work. So let's go ahead and shut our eyes if you're in a place where you can do so, and begin to focus your attention in the area of your heart or chest. Imagine your breath is flowing in and out right through the center of your heart or chest. Breathing a little slower and a little deeper than usual, finding an easy rhythm that's comfortable for you as you continue slow, deep, heart-focused breaths in and out. Imagining that your heart itself is doing the breathing. I invite you on the next inhalation, as you continue these slow, deep, heart-focused breaths in and out, to connect to a regenerative feeling or emotion. Perhaps it's inspiration or clarity or connection or love or appreciation. Whatever is there for you right now, Maybe you're having a challenging day and you need a little calm. Whatever that is, imagine breathing that feeling into the center of your heart or chest and breathing it out and sending that intention and feeling out to anybody else you can think of who might need it. So let's do that a couple more times together. I'm going to breathe in inspiration right now. So let's imagine breathing in inspiration. And breathing out and sending that inspiration to anybody else who needs it, or whatever your regenerative feeling is that you've chosen. And one more time, breathing in slowly and deeply, feeling that emotion, and once more pulsing it out to the field to anybody you can think of who might appreciate it. Now allowing your breathing to return to normal and then to wiggle your fingers and toes. I'm going to ask you now to find a pen and paper or a smartphone or device or on your computer, wherever you are, and to take a few minutes here to ask yourself this question. You can ask it out loud, you can journal prompt, you can write the prompt with your right hand and respond with your left hand, or you could write and respond with your dominant hand, whatever you prefer. I invite you to ask yourself, what matters most to me? What matters at the soul level, not the ego level? What matters? So if you're listening to this right now, maybe even pause the recording and go spend about 5 or 10 minutes journaling and freeform write what matters to you in this moment. Is it connection? Is it making an impact in the world? Whatever that is, pause, go journal about it or reflect on it, and then come back when you're ready. Okay, great. So now that you're back here with me, I'm going to imagine that you've already spent a few minutes now journaling, reflecting, using this technology to deepen your connection to your higher self, to your intuition, and to your heart's deepest desires. And now having that, Let's begin to look at what matters to us. So how do you create a series of images and then turn it into kind of a movie? There are a couple different ways that you can do this. Number one, I invite you to take your movie, whatever it is, or to take the— sorry, what matters to you. Cancel, cancel. Take what matters to you and begin to write those down, 1 through 5, 1 through 10, 1 through 20, whatever those are. So in my case, my relationship with my husband is really important to me. So he's one of the images that I have in my movie that I've created. Perhaps selling a company is important to me. So that's an image that I have in my movie. Another image that I have in there is travel. I love to travel. So a picture of me on a plane. I was just doing this for a client the other day, and we were creating images of she and her husband and dog in Cairo and in Thailand. And what's really great about the latest versions of ChatGPT and other AIs like Gemini and so forth is that you can now drop your own image in there and you can say, show me a picture of myself and my husband or myself and my future husband on vacation in the Bahamas, whatever it is. So what blew my mind when I did this back in April or March, the first time I did it, is I created a series of 10 images. Now, back then, ChatGPT wasn't as advanced and I couldn't add my own face or it wasn't creating images that clearly yet. So back then I just had AI kind of generate images that look like me, like a woman with short blonde hair and brown eyes. What blew my mind though is that I have a group of people that we call the Jennifer Hill Tribe, and we get together, we're once a month or so online, and there's about 200 of us around the world. So I had asked back in April or March, whenever I first created this, to create an image of people on the beach, you know, sitting at a dinner together and celebrating. And so ChatGPT just randomly created this image and it had very specific lights above and very specific people seated at a long table. But again, this wasn't one you could put particular people's faces in. What blew my mind about this is not 3 or 4 weeks later, I'm sitting on a beach in Mexico with a group of the exact people that ChatGPT had created with the exact sort of lights above and the sort of tables that everybody was seated at. And 4 of the other images in that first set of 10 that I created happened within 6 weeks. So step 1 is going to be deeply connect to what matters to you. Step 2 is going to be to write down, you know, 5, 10, 20 things, whatever you wanna start with, that matter to you, and really good descriptions and prompts and be specific. Step 3 is one by one, take each one of those descriptions, whether it's a person you wanna be with, a trip you want to go on, a home you want to sell, and very specifically either put images of yourself, your ideal locations into ChatGPT or whatever AI of your choosing, and then ask it one by one to create images for you. Now this is the part that takes a little bit of time and patience. You know, with the processing power, I find it takes about maybe a minute or 2 to create each image. So I invite you to be patient with yourself as you're creating this. You can also go to mindmovie.com. I'm sure they do it much easier and faster for you there. This is just kind of my scrappy way that I've been playing around with it myself. So step 3 then is again, you begin to create these images together. Now step 4, there can be 2 versions of step 4. If you want to do it just down and dirty in an easy way, then you take the 5, 10, or 20 images that you put together. And you drop them all into ChatGPT and you say, turn this into a movie for me. Now, some of you might be more advanced than I am. I have not figured out how to add sound easily yet on chat. So if you do this version, doing it strictly through ChatGPT, then you're only going to have images but without music to it. Now, of course, you can play music in the background on your phone that's inspiring. And then step 4 is to watch this movie. With music. So the other thing you can do if you don't just wanna use chat is you can use Canva. I am not an expert, but it's pretty easy. I just created in Canva, turned this into a movie for me, and it automatically added music and words for me when I created it in Canva for myself and a few clients. So again, step 1, sit quietly, reflect. Step 2, come out of your quiet reflection and contemplation and journal or ask yourself out loud, what matters for me? Step 3, go ahead and list what are the 5, 10, 20 things that matter most to you. Step 4, and I might be mixing up the steps. I'm hearing this as I'm saying this, so just go with it. We're just kind of playing here in the space of infinite possibilities. And then step 4 is again to, once you create this movie, is then watch this movie at least once a day, ideally first thing in the morning when you first get up. Or last thing in the evening, right before you go to bed. And there's a reason for this, because your body is in what's called an alpha wave state. If you want even a little added bonus, since we're spending all this time on manifesting, many years ago there was a methodology that I would teach people called a statement of intent and a daily declaration. So say there's even just one thing that matters more to you than anything else right now— finding a soulmate, having a baby, going on a dream trip. You can even say this out loud before you watch your mind movie. You could say, by December 31st, 2025, I have a job paying me $1 million or more within 5 miles of my house. I'm just kind of playing and creating that. But I used to teach job seekers how to do this when I was building the first company I created that was a recruiting company, and it was astounding. I'll tell you a fun, beautiful story about this before we wrap today. So long before I knew about mind movies or any of this, I had studied Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, which we had talked about, I think, in the show with Poppy DiNuzzo. And I had done some personal development classes that helped me understand how to kind of expand my awareness. So years ago, here I am running this recruiting company, and we started the company in 2010 when things were in the shitter and everybody was unemployed. It was just a really hard time for a lot of people. And I remember this one lady got referred to me in early November. I think it was 2012. We'll call her Susan. So Susan gets referred to me and we go and meet for coffee at a Starbucks in downtown Los Angeles. And we sit down and Susan laments to me. She says, Jennifer, I've been the breadwinner in my family. I have 2 kids and a husband, and I just got laid off right before the holidays. I don't know how I'm going to survive this. And I remember looking at her and saying, well, number one, when was the last time you ever had Thanksgiving and Christmas off with your kids? And she looked at me incredulously and said, never, Jennifer. I've never had Thanksgiving and Christmas off with my kids. And I said, okay, great. So number one, what if instead of looking at this as though something bad happened to you, what if you looked at this as a gift that you've been given to have this next month and a half off with your kids and husband during the holidays, since we know it's gonna be a little slow on the job hunting front? She said, okay, well, I still need to put bread on the table. What do I do? How do I do this? I said, great. Step 2, what do you want? And she said, you know, Jennifer— she was making maybe $55,000 a year— she said, I'd love a job paying $60,000 a year and even closer to home so I don't have to commute as far from the kids and the husband. I said, great. So I said, here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna write, and by December 31st— it must have been 2012— I have a job paying me $60,000 or more within 5 miles from my house. And I said, every morning, as soon as your eyes pop open, I want you to declare that out loud with vim and vigor. I call that a daily declaration. So this woman every morning would get up and do this. Well, of course, as we both knew, there weren't a lot of job opportunities. So as a recruiter, I wasn't calling her for that many opportunities at that time. So fast forward, a little bit of time goes by and it's now Christmas Eve and I'm about to close down the office on Christmas Eve and I get a phone call and it's like one of those old like desktop phones and I pick it up. And she says, Jennifer, it's Susan. I said, oh my gosh, Susan, Merry Christmas. How are you? And she said, I want to thank you. And I said, for what? She said, I just got an offer today paying me $60,000 a year closer to home. But more importantly, I want to thank you for the gift of these last 6 weeks you gave me with my husband and kids. Rather than looking at it as something bad that was happening to me, I was able to appreciate every moment I had while doing that morning statement of intent and daily declaration that you taught me, and it changed my life. Thank you. Why do I share this? Because there are millions of ways to manifest the life of your dreams. That is my goal. That is the only reason I'm doing this podcast. I'm not doing it for monetary gain or notoriety. Truly, from my bottom of my heart, I want each and every one of you to have a miraculous life filled with your deepest hopes and dreams, inspired, connected to yourself, connected to others, and connected to your purpose. So whichever one of these tools I've mentioned today, or maybe one of Poppy's tools, Gio's tools, definitely check out next week's episode with Nico about Vision Espresso. It's gonna blow your mind. Whatever tools you use, vision boarding, going to mindmovies.com, creating your own version of a movie using ChatGPT or Canva, Doing a daily declaration and statement of intent, whatever this looks like, ask yourself today, what matters most to me? And go out and do that. Because what we need is a world filled with dreamers who are living their life's deepest passion. And instead of looking at AI from a place of fear, let's use AI to help us create. It's here whether we like it or not. Let's learn to work with it. Rather than resist it. I am Jennifer Cahill, and I'm so grateful that you joined me for today's episode. Thank you. Please rate us, follow us, comment. We would love any feedback you have. And when you do manifest something in your life, please leave a note in the chat, in the comments on YouTube @JenniferKHill. We would love to hear what you're manifesting and what matters most to you.
