A choice between two mindsets: the doomer who sees collapse and disengages, or the boomer who treats challenges as opportunities and works toward growth. The doomer leads to quiet quitting and complaint; the boomer fuels proactive effort and progress.
Chapters
Are you a boomer or a doomer? Think about it. With everything happening in the world today, how many people do you run into that are a doomer? Everything is just about the world is ending. We're all gonna die. We've got wars, we got inflation, we got this. I don't like politics. Like that doomer mindset. Here's the challenge though. When you're a doomer, whether you like it or not, you're quiet quitting, not just on your business, on your whole life, because there is no growth, there is no joy, there is no happiness in complaint, criticism and constantly comparing this time to other times. None of that. You can't be a doomer in today's environment if you want to be successful, if you want to win. On the other side, the boomer says, hey, you know what? The streets are paved with gold. There's lots of opportunity. Sure, there might be less transactions in residential real estate, but I'm going to go out and I'm going to do the work, whatever it takes to serve more clients, to make a difference. And I'm going to show up and be the best version of myself every single day. And I think it's pretty obvious when you talk to people which side of the fence they're on. If you're over here, what would have to be true for you to join us over here. And if you're over here, listen, my friend, I celebrate you. I applaud you. Congratulations. Keep up the great work. Let's keep booming together.
