A short motivational monologue (by Jesse Ewell) arguing that focusing on future outcomes (goals) is ineffective and that results come from daily actions, habits, systems, and underlying beliefs. The speaker advises shifting attention from worshiping goals to building consistent habits and offers a free PDF/training (comment "habits") that explains their habit-based approach.

Foreign the goal setting trap nobody talks about. I want to save you years of frustration. And it really comes down to Most people set goals backwards, they look at a future outcome that they want, they get hyped for five or ten minutes or a couple days and then they go back to living the exact same life they were before. You don't create results from results, you create results by the action you take and by the habits you have. Your daily actions and your habits and your beliefs become what produces the outcome. So stop worshiping the goal and start looking at the habits and start taking action on the habits that you know you need to do every day and be consistent with those. If you have a system, it's so much easier to be consistent than just hoping and praying that you're actually going to get these goals. And so if you want to know how we teach our clients how to live a habit based lifestyle inside of our program I have a free PDF that goes through how to set goals in a free training. All you need to do is comment habits and I'll personally send it to you.
