I'm Jim Bouchard, founder of the Sensei Leader Movement. Ours is a global movement to support and develop human-centric leaders in business and in the community. I'm here to talk to you today about a very special event on December 7th. It's your chance to get involved in the movement, to further your career or your community service, and to support a very, very special cause here in Maine. On December 7th, with the generous support of our host, UNUM, I'll be presenting our 8 Strategies for Aspiring Leaders workshop. This workshop is perfect if you're trying to take the next step in your career, going after your first leadership position, or you're developing or supporting the next generation of leaders in your organization. What makes this event extra special is that all the proceeds will benefit Boots to Roots. Boots to Roots is an amazing community initiative, and their mission is to help prepare military personnel before they retire or leave the service to smoothly transition their talents and skills to civilian careers right here in Maine. Suggested donation for this very special program is only $250. For that, you get the half-day workshop. Doors will open at 8:00, we'll go till about noon. The first 50 who register will also get a signed copy of my book, The Sensei Leader. Everyone will receive a workbook, plus you'll have access to a very special online follow-up after the event. If you'd like to send a few people from your business, organization, or team, a $1,000 donation will reserve 6 seats. And if you're active military, a veteran, or a college student currently enrolled, we suggest a donation of $150 to reserve your spot. It's absolutely vital that we support and develop human-centric leaders. That means leaders who care, leaders who care about the people they serve and dedicate themselves to continual self-improvement. This means leaders who inspire, empower, and guide people to their very best. Become a part of our movement and take the next step in your career or community service. At the same time, support Boots to Roots, an amazing community initiative that gives something back to the people who sacrifice so much to keep us safe and secure. Registration is available online at thesenseileader.com www.boots2roots.org. Use the number 2, no spaces. Or you can call us at 207-751-4317. And you can find more information about Boots to Roots at boots2roots.org.
