Jim Bouchard here, the Sensei Leader, and I've got some news about all kinds of cool stuff that we're doing. I'm going to look at my notes here, make sure I don't miss anything. It's going to be a really, really busy week, and it starts— well, I want to make sure we talk about tomorrow, the online workshop that we've got going on tomorrow, and that's free to all the Sensei Leader Movement members. All you got to do is subscribe to the website. Most of you already are anyway, or you join the LinkedIn group The Sensei Leader group on LinkedIn, and you get the same benefits. To subscribe, all you got to do is go to thesenseileader.com, and there it is. The subscription's right there, and you get a free copy, free online edition of The Sensei Leader book. Hey, Jancinius, one of the world's greatest philosophers, and I mean that, he's chiming in there. Make sure you check out his page. Later on today, we're recording one of our Walking the Walk podcasts. Make sure you get over there. We've had some terrific people on there lately, and Mike Neal will be here. He's the founder of Service Star Consulting. He works a lot with credit unions, works exclusively with credit unions really, but he's going to be talking about member-centric culture and how important that is and how profitable it is. And even though he works exclusively with credit unions, we do a lot of credit union work too. That's how we connected with Mike. But his ideas, his philosophy would fit any business. Like I said, the online workshop tomorrow, Don't Motivate, Inspire. The manager motivates, or tries to. A leader inspires. Anybody can motivate. Motivate just means that you're driving someone to a particular action. And the problem with motivation is you're usually going to get them up to a certain expectation and that's it. When you inspire, you're creating a deeper intellectual and emotional connection. And when you do that, you're not going to meet those expectations, you're going to exceed them. A lot of talk out there in the business world about the loss of discretionary effort these days. We talk— it's going the extra mile is what we're really talking about. How do you get people How do you get people to go the extra mile? Well, it's not by motivating, it's by inspiring. And that's what we'll be working on tomorrow. Remember, this is not— we're not calling them webinars, and we're doing that for a reason. A typical webinar is just part of one the other day, half an hour of somebody telling you how great they are, then stupid polls that really have nothing to do with the topic, just to keep you busy. No, this is a workshop. From the first moment that we're there, we're going to roll up our sleeves and get to work. There is some polling, but that's to focus us on the, on the issue at hand. And then we have some breakout rooms where you'll get to discuss these issues with each other, and you're going to come out of there with action steps. That's it. The goal of every Sensei Leader Online Workshop is so you're leaving there with stuff you can do today. Get to work. What else have we got going on? Oh, we've got a Skype meeting with George and Mary Lynn over at Big Success. I don't know what's going to happen with that, but something good is. Something good always does. Make sure you get on and see BigSuccess.com and see what George and Mary Lynn are up to. We have a meeting with Kevin Frisby and Tam Vayu. That's kind of interesting because we're putting together a live presentation, live event here in the Northeast. Kevin Frisby, the author of Every Dime Every Day. Get on his website. And Tam Vayu, Let Me Draw You a Picture. She talks about clarity. She's one of the best presenters around on that, and she does it in a very unique fashion. Let me draw you a picture. She actually draws pictures as she's doing the presentation in the workshop, and you leave with those graphic recordings of what you've been talking about. And then coming up, oh, John Hanson, I forgot about that. John Hanson approached me about doing some series of webinars with him, and so we're going to be talking about that. That's going to be coming up. And then I'm going to be interviewed a couple times. On Friday I'll be interviewed for a series of videos that'll be coming out, hopefully next week you'll start seeing those come out. And then, really looking forward to this one, I'll be on the Leadership Happy Hour with Chip Lutz. Great podcast, you gotta check that out, Leadership Happy Hour with Chip Lutz. He served in the military and took his experience there into leadership, and he's one of the most entertaining and engaging speakers you're gonna see out there, so check that out, Leadership Happy Hour with Chip Lutz. So lots of stuff. Oh, we see Dr. Tantillo on, we always talk about Dr. Tantillo, the marketing doctor. You know, you have to brand yourself, you have to brand your business, you have to talk to Dr. Tantillo. Go to marketingdoctor.tv, marketingdoctor.tv, and hook up with Dr. Tantillo. You also look on Walking the Walk. We did an episode with him not too long ago. We're going to have him on again very, very soon. In fact, if you're listening, Dr. Tantillo, we're going to have you on very, very soon. Let's make it happen. What else? That's it. That's what's going on the rest of this week. So make sure you get onto the to the subscription at thesenseileader.com, you're gonna get the free online edition of The Sensei Leader book, and you'll be eligible for the online workshops. The next one is Thursday, Don't Motivate, Inspire. I don't remember what the next one is coming up. I think we've got two in the works. One is going to be on communication, how to communicate effectively, to be a skilled communicator, and then we're gonna hit some of the other strategies that we talk about, that we highlight in The Sensei Leader. Than the other books that we're putting out. So anyway, that's what's happening. I hope you can join us tomorrow and all the other things. Look for that Mike Neal interview on Walking the Walk. We should have that up this afternoon, I would think. That's a member-centric culture is what we'll be talking about. Okay, anything else we need to talk about? I don't think so. I'll try to keep these going. People said this is helping. Okay, great. Well, if it's helping, we're going to keep doing it, right? We'll keep giving you updates on what, what's happening over here at the Sensei Leader Movement. Be part of it. Just go to thesenseileader.com. Doesn't cost a dime. Just subscribe and you'll have access to these free online workshops and the other stuff that we're doing there. Okay, thanks a lot. We'll talk to you soon.
