Hello, I'm Jim Schechman. I'll be co leading the Q Intelligence Strategy Circle program becoming an Authentic Strategist with John Gerstner beginning April 7th. I know, I know, authenticity is becoming a pretty big buzzword, but the fact is being an authentic strategist is a crucial professional goal. For those of us who want to be trusted strategic advisors and achieve the kind of access, input and impact most of us strive to achieve in our careers, our Circle will have up professional peers. John and I will lead the six 75 Minute Circle programs in the series and we'll bring the structure and strategic content to the program. But the bulk of the content for each Circle discussion will come from you and your peers participating and interacting together. Aren't you kind of tired of those one way lecture programs where the expert does all the talking and the time for questions is late in the program so you run out of time to ask the one question you really wanted an answer to? Come to the Circle. Come to share what you know and hear what your peers you can argue, challenge, debate, discuss and discover. Really good stuff. Six 75 minute programs beginning April 7th. We'll be talking about being a strategic partner, knowing what bosses really want, like advice on the spot, options which they can choose, the ingredients and solutions, what to do next, and more. We'll be talking about the art of giving advice and the difference between how men give advice versus how women give advice. Some interesting ideas there. The goal and bottom line for this program is to recognize that the authentic strategist actually is the table. If you want to have a happier, more interesting, productive, influential and powerful career, this is the program you're going to want to participate in. Bring your toughest question how do you get the boss to do the important things they're avoiding? And you know they know they know they're avoiding it. How can you have as much influence as the attorney? How do you stop things that are really stupid, dangerous or unethical or they just will never get done? How do you draw the loyalty line when you're asked to do something or support or advocate, whether it's questionable or worse? How do you draw attention to yourself and your ideas, especially if you're a woman operating in what is generally a man's world? If you're the lone voice for something that is reasonable, important, helpful and constructive, how can you win when everyone may seem to feel in another direction? How do you get people to remember your advice and thinking when you're not in the Rome? Join, lead, follow, participate, argue, but be there on April 7 for the start of becoming an authentic strategist. We'll see you there. Here's how to join.
