What do you think is some of the mistakes aspiring leader makes when it comes to learning?
I really believe that when you think about the leaders that are successful, they've learned to really be who they are. They're very confident, but that confidence is rooted in competence. It's because you've done the hard yards, you know how to get done what needs to get done, and that inspires other people. But then they combine it with humility that says, I don't know everything, and Most importantly, it says, I need you. That's an incredible superpower. The third thing that I think they do is they have this insatiable desire to just keep getting better and better and better and raising the bar on themselves. I think that learning mindset is what really helps people work through those three things. You learn how to be authentic. You learn that you can't be anybody else. You learn your trade, which gives you confidence, and you learn the importance of valuing others, which gives you the humility. All the people that are really successful, they're not satisfied. They're constantly pushing. Themselves to get better and better.
