People don't realize little by little, a little becomes a lot. So how do you break things down into small, simple steps? So the example that you often hear is about working out. Let's say you want to motivate yourself to work out and you can't get yourself to go do an hour workout. Maybe that's too big. So what's a small, simple step? A 10-minute walk, a couple of jumping jacks, right? Putting on your running shoes could be a small, simple step. Question I ask myself to come up with my small, simple step this one question: what is the tiniest action I could take right now that will give me progress towards this goal where I cannot fail?
