Your struggles are your strengths. My 2 biggest challenges going through my childhood were learning and public speaking. I was slow. I had processing issues. Teachers would repeat themselves over and over again. I would pretend to understand, but I really didn't understand. I was constantly lagging behind. I was being teased about it. But rather than becoming a disadvantage, this struggle eventually became my strength. And life has a sense of humor because what do I do? Every single day I public speak on this thing called learning. This deep struggle led to a deep dive, if you will, into brain science, memory improvement, learning strategies, strategies. It pushed me to develop methods for myself to harness my mind, to be able to compensate, to befriend it, to fall in love with my brain and make it work for me. Your struggles can become your strengths. Just depends if you learn from it and you allow it to transform yourself.
