Welcome, Kwik Learners! How's the energy in here?
Woohoo!
This is the stuff that I've been wanting to learn since I was a little kid, and I always felt a little anxious or uncomfortable about Speed reading. This weekend we covered all of that stuff that I could go home and really excel and really change in a very big way, the way I was reading, the way I do math, and all of that.
Being able to just make some simple changes with the Pacer and your finger across the book And really truly focusing on what you're reading and being present in what you're reading and stepping back and asking yourself some questions. Why am I reading this? Why is this important to me? It's really helped me to focus.
Putting everything in location, assigning things in your house and saying this is place 1, place 2, place 3, and then memorizing things in that order. Super helpful because I'm very visual and I also obviously know my house very well and I think that you could do that really easily, really fast. And you can memorize a lot of things that way. And I also think it's really easy to teach somebody else, which is important.
We used our left finger, our left hand instead of our right hand to learn, and to learn how to read faster. And that was an amazing experience to me because from going from just reading fast, I went to comprehending really what was in the story much better while using my left hand than using my right hand to read the story. So really by using my right brain, I really was able to read fast.
Jim's tools and techniques helps you push through and helps stretch what you're comfortable with. It breaks down old habits and gives you new habits to teach you how to read really fast and how to soak it up. Break down the subvocalization going in your mind so you're not talking to yourself, but you're actually just soaking up the information off the page.
I recently suffered a traumatic event at work, and ever since then My memory's been shot to hell. I don't have good concentration or retention or any of the stuff that I used to have working in a high-pressure job, and I feel like this conference is gonna help me get back to where I was before. Introduce this concept not just to my son, who's a great reader already, but to some of his friends who really struggle in school. And reading is such an important thing for young children to be able to be successful in school and then in the rest of their life. So I'm so excited about introducing this both to them and seeing the results that can come from helping them to learn this wonderful system.
We're doing this for the speed reading specifically. In order to do something like this, I can't focus on all 3 at once. I have to soften my gaze. Jim's methods are amazing, and everybody can use it in their life, like especially if we go and teach it to the kids, the younger generation. And the Kwik Math is— I can't even explain it. I can't even put it in words. And I just hope that everybody will adopt his methods. It starts to grow from 150 to 200 words to 250 words per minute and 300, 500, 800, 1,000 plus.
This knowledge allowed me to increase my speaking speed in the first day more than like 5 times. I started with 25 lines per minute. I ended with 190 lines per minute. If I apply this in reading medical data, medical books, I'll be ready to pass my United States medical license examination in no time. I feel very optimistic. It's great for people like lawyers who pass bar exams, for medical doctors, for anybody who is getting ready for medical tests or any other tests in school. So this tool is amazing. I'm so glad that I found KwikLearning.
What?
What?
This is amazing.
I mean, I knew Jim was good, but this whole program has just blown me away.
Just after many months at war and life, I feel like I've become really foggy and can't remember things, can't focus, and this immersion really helped me remember my brain. And now I'm back to reading over 1,200 words a minute in only 2 days, and I feel like I can focus and apply a lot of the learning skills I've I've gained here to producing writing and speeches and sermons, and I'm really excited about it. Thank you.
I am a quick learner!
