Jim Kwik distinguishes passion from purpose: passion energizes you, purpose applies that energy to help others. After struggling with learning, he made learning his passion and teaching others to learn his purpose.
And that you don't find your purpose, you build it. So expose yourself to lots of different stimulus, lots of novelty. See where your passion, your heart pulls you towards. Passion is what lights you up, but purpose is how you use your passions to light other people up. My passion is learning. It wasn't always learning because I had trouble with it for a long time. But when I found my passion, my passion is learning, but teaching people how to learn, that lights other people up. And that's my purpose.
