Jim Kwik breaks down the C-O-D-E framework: four cognitive types named Cheetah, Owl, Dolphin, and Elephant. Each type learns differently, from fast intuitive action to data-driven logic to creative pattern-making to social collaboration. Just like there's personalized medicine based on your genetics or personalized nutrition based on your microbiome, there's also personalized learning. That is not how smart you are, it's how are you smart. We all prefer to learn something in a different way and we think in a certain way. And there are about 4 cognitive types, C-O-D-E. The C is the fast-acting cheetah. These are people who are fast implementers. They have strong intuition. They thrive in fast-paced environments. They can adapt to change. The O is your logical owl and they love data. They love facts, they love figures, they love formulas. The D are your visionary dolphins. These are the creators. These are people that see a product or see a vision that maybe other people don't see yet. They're great at pattern recognition, incredibly creative. And finally, the E are your elephants, and these are your social beings that learn best through collaboration. They're extremely loyal. They have high levels of empathy and interpersonal skills. And you can take this quiz. It's free. Once you know your brain type, you can optimize for it because a cheetah would invest differently than an owl. They would perform and they would also read differently.
