Jim Kwik says clarity comes from personal organization. A messy desktop or disorganized files force your brain to waste energy remembering where things are. Organize your external space and you free up mental energy for what actually matters.

It's hard to stop somebody who knows where they're going. Most people lack clarity because they lack personal organization. Clarity is power. So organization allows you to have clarity. The opposite of that is disorder, chaos. Organization for me is even like a computer. If you have too many tabs open or you have files everywhere on your desktop, you know that if you took the time to be able to put all those files, those audios, those images, those text files into specific folders, not only do you have an organized computer, but you have an organized mind. If you're not organized, you have to use a lot of energy to mentally remember where everything is. Your external world is a reflection of your internal world. So how are you organizing your personal space?
