We all know that exercise is good for your body, but what's often overlooked is that it's also great for your brain. I often say, when your body moves, your brain grooves. Have you ever noticed that many successful people, they work on treadmills? They do their phone calls while they're getting their steps in. You'll often find me exercising, maybe even before I go on stage. There's a reason for that. Exercise doesn't just make your body stronger, it sharpens your mind too. In fact, studies show that even just 30 minutes of walking a day can significantly improve mental clarity, focus, and creativity. You don't need to spend hours at the gym. It's about staying active and getting your body moving throughout the day. Here's a little reminder. They say sitting is the new smoking. Being sedentary for long periods has been shown to have a negative impact on your brain health. So make it a habit to take brain breaks, to stand up, to stretch, to go outside, maybe a little walk throughout the day. Successful people know that when their bodies are in motion, their brains are in motion too. Maybe it's yoga or it's jogging. Maybe you enjoy dancing or even a little stretching. Get your body moving and your brain will thank you.
