Jimmy Kim reports average order value per email conversion fell from $130 in 2022 to $94. Higher email volume spreads revenue thinner, competition intensifies for the same customers, and economic pressure shrinks what people spend per purchase.
We're seeing a decrease in the average order value per email conversion. So from $130 in 2022 to $94. What are you thinking here?
Yeah, I think the more we send inherently, the less that we're gonna make per send and the more that everyone else is sending, right? The less that we're gonna be able to capture a specific customer, right? Maybe their wallet share is going elsewhere.
Yeah, and it makes sense. It's average order, so people aren't buying as much, but they're still buying. They're just buying less of it. So you're right, it could be just they have so much to buy and they only have limited wallet share as we're seeing the economy Kind of make some shifts here.
