Jimmy Kim and Speaker A break down email infrastructure tools most marketers skip: rendering previews, spam testing, DKIM validation, and deliverability monitoring. They explain why a clean internal sign-off system matters for tracking resources and hiring, and flag the gap between basic ESP tools and the QA suite brands actually need.
Having a really good clean system that allows clients or kind of the internal team to sign off or give feedback or approve things, and then really understanding how you allocate resources. So understanding in a given week or month who is kind of bogged down and who has bandwidth, and if someone is bogged down, how do you get them support? And that helps you with hiring, kind of understanding the calendar and how things evolve. And if you sell to different places and countries and regions, nuances between those places and how things happen.
I like that one. That's a really good one. I haven't thought about that one. And that reminds me, you know, one of the places that I think that would be really interesting is kind of the QA testing tools too. I think these are really important things where you can like render your email format, you can do spam testing and deliverability stuff and monitoring and A/B testing and, you know, DKIM stuff and compliance tools. All this stuff I think are kind of bucketed together when you're thinking about like deliverability compliance, you know, the DKIM monitoring. All of this I think is tools that are like in these like nice to have buckets but also important to have. But at the same time, a lot of this stuff is free out there in the market like MX Toolbox and all these places that you You can go out or you can go buy different tools like spam testing, delivery tools and different things. I have my own versions of if I love them or not. However, all of these are really important, right? You really want a lot of these things. You want compliance stuff where you're, you know, managing this preference center tools, multi-region tools. Like there's so much you can get into and the world is crazy with this stuff. You know, I think that a lot of people only know their like ESP, their popup tool and some of the basics. But you can get into this whole world of QA deliverability and compliance tools that are coming into place.
