Jimmy Kim says design your welcome email flow around actual conversion data, not guesses. Most prospects convert immediately or within three days, so concentrate sends in that window. Stretching sequences to 30, 60, or 90 days typically wastes sends and hurts results.

You should look at your data and your sales cycle of your actual prospect conversion rate. I don't think anyone displays this anywhere, so you almost have to do the raw math. But like, you got to look at what your average cycle of people who are converting over time is, and you should be able to work backwards off that data and go and say, hey, my average person converts either immediately or over like 3 days. Well, then you need to make sure that you're heavy on those emails because you know that this is going to happen. And the further you get away from that, often you're not going to bring in any more new sales. So it's important to know where you can overdo it. Often people go 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, you might be overdoing it often. So you've got to make sure you're coming up with a good kind of cadence and speed. Subscribe to the pod.
