Jimmy Kim explains browse abandonment: when someone views a product without buying it. A product-viewed email sent 2-4 hours later generates $1.13 per send, six times better than standard email campaigns. Only 1% of brands use it.
Browse abandonment triggers are when someone views a product but doesn't add it to cart, right? The cart abandonment triggers when they add to cart but don't buy. And browse abandonment catches people earlier in that funnel. And in this data, a product viewed email is earning about $1.13 per send. And it's not as high as other automation, but it's still 6 times better than campaigns. And looks like about 1% of their brands are actually running.
Yeah. And the thing with the browse abandonment, like it's A, low-hanging fruit, and B, it's typically a lot higher volume than some of the cart abandonment or abandoned checkout. So it kind of makes up for a little bit with the volume. Just, just a lot of people that can trigger it.
Low-hanging fruit is someone looking at your product page and they're interested. Send them an email 2 to 4 hours later with the product plus a similar option, and you're staying top of mind.
