Embodying Cyclical Wisdom For Collective Healing Through Ceremony, Breath, EFT & Kinesiology

Jodie Louise, Rebecca May, Sarah Ahmed, Jennifer Harmony, and Karina Khalila explore menstrual cycles as a tool for healing trauma and releasing patterns. They demonstrate muscle-testing as a way to access the subconscious, discuss how the luteal phase surfaces addictive behaviors, and share rituals for conscious menstruation that counter patriarchal taboos.

Thank you for being here. This has been a dream of mine, and I'm so grateful for you all being here for the start of it. So since I was a little girl, I've always been bringing women together, and I remember when I was 7 getting in trouble at school because I was hiding in this little cubby house at school just speaking about periods and sex and boys and It was taboo and we weren't meant to talk about it, but it just felt like we were meant to gather in circle, and I never really understood why.
And it's taken years and years and years of working out why.
It wasn't until about 6 years ago that I was on a women's retreat that I was like, ah, this is it, this is what we're meant to be doing. That's why I created this workshop and why I'm creating this movement, Wisdoms That Women Share. have learned in school. And here today I have some of my most favorite people on this planet that inspire me and have some of the greatest wisdom and tools that they can, they can share with you. So I'd love to go around and get all of you to briefly introduce yourselves and share a little bit about what called you to be part of this.
So let's start with Jen.
Sure.
Hi everyone, I'm Jennifer Harmony. And I guide people on the path of awakening to really learn how to love themselves and clear past wounds and trauma permanently and unleash their genius and reconnect to their soul and come into full alignment. So they get to discover what all is there once they've let go of everything that's been holding themselves back. I was born in Scotland, worked a corporate career in advertising until I was 24, so quit that a long time ago. Um, just wasn't making me happy. And I could see I could be very successful and very wealthy and very unhappy. And so the last 20 years, I've really been actively working on myself and learning tools along the way. And the most powerful tool that I've discovered, together with meditation, is EFT tapping, which I'm excited to give a little demo of later. And yeah, I think we'll keep it short and keep it at that, but I'm just so excited to share and to be a part of this.
Thank you.
I'm Karina Khalila.
I am a breathwork facilitator and a musician. I just recently completed my first album, which has been so exciting. And I came into breathwork after losing my hearing after being in a quad accident. intense and traumatic relationship with someone. And, um, literally breathwork found me. I was at a workshop and it was a sound healer, and I was like, sound healing?
Come on, as if that's a thing.
And I went in and because I'd lost so much of my hearing, I could feel it better than I could hear it. And so I was like, whoa, there's something in here, in this. So I, I said to the sound healer, and I was like, can I have a private session with you? And I Yeah. So the next day I went into my 2-hour sound healing session. He said, he's like, oh, you're gonna breathe today.
I'm like, what's that? He's like, you're gonna just experience it. Okay.
So ever since then, I've, I've unraveled so much, just similar to what Jen was saying, so much of my trauma, um, that there's been so much gold that's come from that, and the music has come through releasing, you know, the stuck trauma in my body. And so that's what I love to guide people through.
My— the technique is rebirthing breathwork.
So like Jen, we're also going to be doing a little sample of that today too.
I'm excited to be here.
Thank you.
Hi everyone, gorgeous women.
I'm Sarah Ahmed, as most of you know. Um, so it's hard to label what's going on nowadays and what I'm really sharing, but for me, I went through a 7-year healing cycle with detox and, and womb work and all of these different modalities. And at some point I thought, if I stay fully identified as a human, I'm going to be doing this forever.
Mm-hmm.
So at some point I said, okay, so what are the tools I can bring in to activate my higher consciousness so I can start spiraling upwards instead of constantly spiraling down? And so kinesiology, which I'm going to be demoing, has been the tool that has brought that higher energy, that higher consciousness energy through my body and, um, and allowed me to move out of layers of trauma I felt like I would be stuck in forever. So stay tuned for that.
I'm Rebecca May. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to be part of This project, Jodie. Thank you. I, um, again, like Sarah said, I'm not really certain how to introduce myself. I work with many different modalities, and I'm sure I make a lot of stuff up, and that's actually my background.
I was a makeup artist.
So things haven't changed. I'm just like in this hippie environment living in a wooden— seem to be walking the path of sisterhood. However, what brought me here to this path was to understand what was moving through my body month after month after month when I was bleeding. I always found that time of month Very distressing. And for way too long, I would plug it up and pretend it wasn't happening, have 4 Nurofen and get on with it, you know. So I'm deeply in gratitude to Bali to be able to gift me the space to unravel and research and fully embody what it's like to live in a way where menstruation is And that's what I'd like to share with you about today.
And while we're with you, Rebecca, it would be awesome if you could help us enlarge the space. You designed us still a little practice. I didn't introduce myself properly.
Good catch.
Thank you.
Hi, I'm Jodie. And what do I do? Well, I do many things, which we were talking about that before, how much I do. I do a lot. But I think the most relevant thing to share today is that I support women to really connect to their bodies, connect to their cycles, to heal their digestion, to basically detox their life on every level, which for me is an ever-going journey.
Yeah.
I'm like, oh, there's some more detoxing. It's not always what we're eating. It's like Destructive patterns and men and all the things. That's my greatest passion, is detoxing our lives on every level.
So thank you. So my loves, let's just get into the space. Get as comfortable as you can be. We're dropping— this will be a very Um, yeah, quick drop in so that we're all here connected through the web of wombs that are not only in this room, that are spiraling in this circle, that are also connected to all of the women around the world that are dropping into the earth and doing this work as well. So just become aware of the space that you're in. Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your breath, making any adjustments, and just starting to deepen your breath. On the inhale, expanding, bringing that breath up into your heart space and just allowing your chest to come forward very gently. And on the exhale, deepening. And as you're deepening that exhale, that air, that oxygen's moving through your body. Imagine on the exhale deepening back into yourself. Inhale. And exhale.
Allow noise.
On the exhale.
Ah.
Do one more of those. Deep breath in, making some noise.
Ah.
On that exhale. In this next breath in, imagine with this expanded chest moving forward that your heart Is a crystal, a light, bright crystal. And as you're inhaling, the energy that's coming up through your body, up through your solar plexus, into your heart, illuminating that crystal. And on the exhale, imagine that energy moving through your heart, back through your solar plexus, Through your sacrum and into your womb space where there lies another crystal. And just feeling that connection between the 2 crystals. As you inhale, crystal in your heart expanding, the energy amplifying out through your heart space. And on the exhale, And crystal in your womb, so it's lighting up. Inhaling, expanding, and exhale, deepening into that depth, that dark space of the womb that's being lit up by this crystal. This next breath This exhale where we're deepening back through our womb. Imagine the diamond crystalline light that's lighting up your womb space, anchoring deeper and deeper into the earth. So exhaling, deepening, and that light is then connecting and merging with the crystalline core of the earth. So on the next sip up, this inhale, sipping up that light from the crystalline core of the earth, bringing it up through your womb space, up through your solar plexus, and into your heart where it is amplified and shining out around you in a torus field of light. Anchoring on the exhale, deepening your connection, deepening, deepening. And this time, try to imagine the color, the magenta color of the light that's shining through from the crystalline core of the Earth. Imagining this magenta ray, this magenta light coming up through your womb, lighting it up through your heart, and this time up into your throat. Deepening back down into the earth again, bringing this magenta ray up through the earth. Into your womb space, having this light amplified up through your heart, through your throat, and this time up into the crown. Deepening on the exhale, deepening, deepening, and expanding as you're deepening back into the light of the Earth. This time we're going to bring it up through our body, through our auric field. So it's traveling up through the inside of our womb and also through our auric field, up into our throat, our third eye, where it lights up our pineal gland and comes up through the top of our skull and connects us with the light of the central sun. This space is where you're connecting to your star. And on the exhale, imagining, feeling, visualizing the light from the central sun shining down, showering down thousands of diamonds, amplified crystalline diamond light that's connecting you from the central sun Back through your body, through your pineal, your throat, amplified in the auric field of your heart, down through your solar plexus, lighting up your womb space, through your yoni, and connecting you to the crystalline core of the earth. Bathing in this light. Feeling the depth of your connection to— and the oneness. Feeling the depth of connection through your womb into the core of the earth. And feeling the depth of connection with all the women that are in this circle that are also using this way of plugging into The magenta flame of the mandala. Bringing her energy up into your room space, lighting you up with love, having it flood up through your heart, up through your throat, your crown chakra, once again connecting you to the central sun, and there being showered down in a pillar of love and light. Thousands of crystals, diamonds, rubies, and emeralds completely switching your DNA to one of brilliance, giving you a sense of the truth of who you are, and that is diamond light.
I am diamond light.
Feeling that sensation permeate deliciously, completely, and through every cell of your being. Just inviting to bring some warmth. Movement as we're coming back into this space, deepening your breath. We're going to start to circle your hips and just move that energy through your body. Making some noise, letting us know that you're done. When you're ready.
Taking one last breath in that space, coming back into the room.
Just when you open your eyes, have a look around and drink each other.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Wow, I mean, I forget like the power of connecting to our womb space and just calming our nervous systems and jumping into our feminine. Even just sitting here in circle, it feels so activated.
I'd love if you're willing to share a little bit about the importance of the womb connection and how it's changed your life.
We were speaking the other day and you shared about The greatest thing you did was slow down. And for me, that's been the hardest thing. And that was the big theme of this workshop, was, you know, you come to Bali, new yoga pants, but you're still doing the same thing.
Right.
Busy, busy, busy, busy, and then we know that. So I'd love to hear from you what you— how that's impacted you and how you've implemented that in your lives.
Yeah, the slowing down as a woman, I think, is one of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves.
It's quite layered to get there, and there's always more. Yeah, there's always more opportunity to slow down, but to get there, it's like, I think, the greatest act of self-love. And for me, it was saying no. No to things that, to start with, when I got to Bali, I didn't know all the words, you know. So I'm going to use a few, so let me know if you don't like them because I do. But yeah, to start with, it was saying no to everything that wasn't in alignment with my highest vision.
of myself.
And that takes courage. It takes courage. It takes a lot of courage to feel that you're not missing out on something, that we're not ever not going to be asked again, um, especially if you're a doer and like overworking. And I was working in an industry that back in those times, if I didn't say yes to jobs, I would be off the list. Yes. However, I really needed to pull all the courage up into this place of my heart and put myself first. And living psychically and really having this as a full-time practice is what's come through for me. And it's been an incredible, marvelous revelation to know that I don't miss out on anything. I still support I still have all the right jobs, the right people, the right things flowing through my system. In fact, so much more right than they ever were before, you know.
Mm-hmm.
And that came with stopping the chase and sitting back into my womb space and allowing myself the time and the rest to feel what it is I truly wanted. And not what I thought I should want.
And in connection with this cycle, how have you found— like you've mentioned to me before that certain times you found when you worked at those core days of the month, you'd actually get more done.
It's so true.
You're taking like 2 weeks doing next to nothing.
It's so true.
Like, you know, our cyclic nature is that we are seasonal. We are so deeply connected to What's happening with the Earth, whether we're aware of it or not. Everything that we do is influenced through our cycle. And I mean, what you girls do and share as well, and especially with you when you're eating, like the way that you nourish yourself, you're aware of it, but so many of us aren't. And when we get to tune into that, we can expand on it. And that piece alone, I know that through seed cycling, I'm able to nourish myself in a way where I can access the most energy from my food rather than like just putting stuff in my mouth like unconsciously. And then therefore, when I do have the energy— and I'm in a slightly different space right now, I'm cycling with the moon, I'm not bleeding at this However, when I was, I noticed that when I had no energy at all— swear— the fuck it days, right? Where it was like the fat fuck it days where I just wanted to watch Netflix and like I couldn't get enough chocolate, or like, I swear it seriously, would consider putting chocolate on pizza. And you know, like the food stuff that was going My body was not so supportive, and if I pushed myself on those days, guaranteed you I'd put my back out, I'd be off to the osteopath. Whatever work I'd pushed myself to, to do, I'd be unhappy with because it wasn't perfect. That's a whole other workshop.
And I'd have to redo it.
So therefore, I may as well have taken the day off anyway.
Right.
Right? So I started to notice that These few days around a certain time of the month where I felt super radiant, shiny, and expanded. My jeans fit me really well, and I usually get a car park or a scooter park right out the front. It was one of those magical days. I could get more done in those 3 to 5 days a month than I could through the rest of the 24 days. Anyways, so I started to be lazy, really lazy. Get 2 massages a day, maybe go to yoga, maybe not. And guaranteed, like, it's miraculous. At the end of the month, I'm still getting everything I need done, done. My body feels better, I feel better about myself, and you know, I think everyone around me will sense and see that I'm happier in my being, and therefore they're happier too. My relationships have also grown through it. My compassion for myself and other women has really grown.
It's so inspiring to hear you talk about this because I'm at a point that I'm working with my cycle and how I eat and how I exercise, and I've noticed how much that's impacted me. But to hear you saying There's just 3 days of the month that you really can get stuff done. And I know if I embodied that, it would change my life. And I know that's the next step because I'm witnessing it in women around me that are really embodying that, and it's profound. And does everyone here know about working with your cycle and how eating different foods at different times of the month make a difference?
Yeah.
So you can actually apply it to your work as well, knowing different times of the month to do different things. So we were talking about this the other day, for example, like recording your album.
Yeah, maybe you could talk a little bit about that.
So this is, this is interesting because I channeled this album. It was like, I'm a sound healer, and, uh, I went in one day. The theme of the album is a sound healing to make love to. So I went in ovulating, and what came out was, was not Like vocally was not my strongest. It was— we couldn't quite—
I couldn't quite—
I don't know, it was just not quite there. And then 2 weeks later, I went to record, um, we actually hadn't finished the track that I was working on the day that I ovulated.
This is 2 weeks later.
When I came in, I was bleeding. And I came in and I sat down with my producer and I was like, okay, I've— I'm feeling a sound. And I, I kind of described the sound to him, as I do, and he created this sound. And then the vocals that came out from that were just like— the song was done in 40 minutes.
Wow.
And we then completed another song that afternoon as well. And it was just— I was in a super squishy place. I'd been nourishing myself really well because I was, you know, PMS phase for me is quite intense, as we were sort of talking about yesterday. And, um, what I learned was— and actually this is true in, in other sessions that I've run at Queens of Qi when I was working there— where if I was bleeding, people would often have responses to my voice in a different way to when I'm not. And like the other 3 phases of the cycle, which I can't Rename off by heart, but it was particularly noticeable when I was bleeding, which I think is really interesting.
And I don't know why, but I think these girls kind of have an idea.
What was the reaction when they were— when you were bleeding?
The reports were anywhere from feeling really tearful and like coming out of just regular sound healings, like having Like cried and cried and cried and cried. Or this happened a few times, uh, Kundalini rising. And, uh, that happened more often than the— oh, they usually come together, tears and Kundalini. So that was more common than any other time. Yeah.
Yeah, it's beautiful. And in the follicular phase, which menstruates— like menstruation falls into the follicular phase. That's when our throat chakra is more open, so it is a better time to create things. And I find when I'm ovulating, I'm actually like ungrounded, so I'm more all over. And for me, it's a time I've got energy to get stuff done. But yeah, when I'm menstruating, it's like I feel so wise, in my wise woman phase, and stuff just comes through. And I think that you— No, do you want to share?
Do you want to share? Yeah.
Well, it really connects with what I'm going to be sharing around this higher consciousness because, you know, what I was sharing on this call that we did yesterday is like, we are such psychic magical beings. And like, who wants to live in the world of muggles? Or do you want to live in bloody Hogwarts? You know, like, we are pure magic. And the time—
How? Yeah, I want you to say how.
How do we move to Hogwarts?
No, how are you magic?
I mean, okay, so The practice I give you at the end, that's going to be one thing that anchors you to your magic every single day of the month. But as we begin to bleed, we are like a portal. There is so much that opens, and we're not— Hormones. We're going to be experiencing pain, we're going to be experiencing lethargy and binge eating, perhaps, you know, just like needing to— you know, a lot of the reason why women And eat so much on their hormones is not only because we're metabolizing carbs and fats in a different way, so the body's craving that, but there is also this feeling of wanting to ground. Because on our period, we're like, it's so open, we're so high.
So high.
And if we allow ourselves to actually connect with that, we're a stargate. We can open to so many things. Our brain, left-right hemispheres, start shooting off all of the neurotransmitters start going, doo doo doo doo doo. Men never experience that. They never go into that experience, you know. And so it's utilizing, like as we were saying, it's like really, um, making this each stage of the cycle, 4 stages, so precious and treating it right. And so when you go into this bleed phase, you open up and you start— like for me, when I was in Australia, it was like I had the deepest connection with the Aboriginals when I was They would come into my space and I would be speaking to non-physical beings. I would be seeing things, I'd be writing, I'd just be like eyes closed, like channeling books. And this was all happening as I'd begun to bleed. But we have to honor that rest cycle, the cocoon, the incubator, and then it's like that, that really starts to open. But the imbalanced hormones, it'll, it'll distort that, won't it? You know?
Yeah, and I also love that you touched on the masculine. So the masculine hormone is the same every single day because they're in sync with the sun. So for them, they wake up every day and they get the same little kick in the morning, and then they— so they can have a routine. But as women, we're not designed to have a routine. We're designed to do different things every day. So there's a reason why one day you feel like smashing it at the gym and the next day you're like, I just want to lay in bed and do bed yoga. And there's a reason for that. And as soon as we start to listen to their body, that's when we get even more connected to our intuition. So for me, like, every day when I just listen to what my body wants, I'm guided, and I'm not trying to live like a man because, um, you know, 95% of research, like medical research, is done on men because it's cheaper. Because, you know, women's hormones are constantly changing, so it's too expensive to do that. So I guess what I'd love to talk about, I was thinking about asking you Around like shifting more into our feminine as the masculine and how you think that can support us. And if you've got like, you know, maybe you can share a little bit about EFT as a tool that can help us sink into our feminine.
Sure.
Yeah.
Thank you.
So working as a woman and working with our psyche and femininity, I want to share like something that happened really freshly in the last 24 hours.
It was an experience unfolding that I was not okay with, that was like a huge shock to my nervous system. and I was honestly sobbing my eyes out till 2 o'clock in the morning. And I was doing everything right. I was doing all this conscious communication. I was setting the boundaries. I was asking for support.
Everything was right.
And knowing that I had clients today and this workshop to present at, and I know and I trust that by using tools like EFT in order to regulate my nervous system and giving myself the support, going inside, connecting to myself and what it is that I need, That allows me to be able to do the work that I'm here to do. And I did. I worked through as much of it as I could. I was still quite a mess this morning, and I went into the session that I had at 10 AM knowing that— because I made a deal with spirit 5 years ago, like, okay, look, I've been doing my own inner work for 15 years now. I need to be paid for this. I want to get paid for doing my inner work now. So a lot of the times when I'm actually giving a one-on-one session, it's because I need to receive what it is that I'm actually sharing with my clients.
Me too.
And so lo and behold, I end up giving the perfect session that I actually need. And so being able to do work like that and to be able to be aware of what it is that's going on inside Inside. I would imagine the masculine way to get through that would have been like, okay, there's a lot of emotions going on, let's push that to the side and let's get to the goal and get to the target. And yeah, I could have done that, but now I would have left this workshop and I would have had to have gone and processed everything instead of like dealing with it and being like, yes, life, like this is hard. And for those of us that live in Bali, we know how she likes to You know, smack us so that we can evolve into our highest consciousness. But it's like one of those kicks. And so just being like, yes, life, I trust you. It's hard. Corinna got so many teary, weepy voice messages from me in the last 24 hours that were pictures that pretty much only dolphins can understand.
I miss you.
And yeah, but just like embracing that and being like, okay, I trust you. I trust these emotions that are moving through me, and I trust that I'm going to be able— I've been giving EFT sessions, leading EFT sessions for 11 years, and I've been through this enough to know that I can always drop in and guide a session. And so, yeah, I just really felt like sharing that. And also that it's not because we're somehow sitting here that we have all our shit together and like we don't face challenges and like things like that. Things No. are okay, it's just we got to a point where we are aware that we're humans, we're imperfect, and it's beautiful, and we're just continuing to keep evolving and growing. And so this tool of EFT, you know, as soon as this experience started unfolding and I was aware it was like a massive invasion and I was just so not okay with what was going on, it's like I just started tapping. Corinne is my bestie and she just looks at me when I'm going through something, she's like, tap, bitch.
In a nice way.
Yeah, yeah, in a very loving and supportive way. She knows that, she knows what I need. And so what tapping does, if you've never— has anyone here done tapping?
Yeah, okay, a little bit.
Anyway, you know, if you're watching this on one of the cameras somewhere, like, please drop into the comments like, yes, me, if it's something that you know of, because it lights me up that people know this. Because 11 years ago when I learned it, it was like if I ever mentioned what the work that I did, I knew I was going to need 20 minutes to explain. So that people know what it is. But in a nutshell, it's a way to reprogram the mind, to really physically experience love flowing through the brain. And so it increases the oxytocin that's in the brain and it decreases cortisol. And that's proven by Harvard and lots of different peer-reviewed medical studies— or in journals, sorry.
Yeah, by medical studies.
And just, I mean, that stuff all aside, there's people that go like hardcore into the science. That's not me. But the experiences that I've had with clients who come— there was one woman I worked with who was like suicidal, completely depressed, could barely leave the house. And with it, she came back for her 3rd session and she's like, I don't want to say that I'm cured, but I don't even have anxiety anymore. And it was like we just got there into her core traumas and we just brought love there because what happens when we're children is we make beliefs about, we create beliefs about the world as a result of what we experience. And so we can go back into those memories and connect with the child that we were and actually reprogram them and give ourselves that love and the support that we needed. And it's just so beautiful. And often what happens, especially with trauma work, if we're just trying to talk about something that's Yeah. High-level trauma, the brain actually shuts down. We go back into fight, flight, or freeze. We lose the communication part of our brain. So just by tapping on our bodies, we're stimulating the meridians and it relaxes the mind. It relaxes the amygdala. And so it's such a phenomenal tool. So even if you just— if you're going through something, just start tapping on your chest and breathing, and already that's going to bring relief to your nervous system. So I want to— I prefer to just like give a 2-minute demo. Would you guys be up for that? Sure.
Yeah, okay, cool.
So let's start tapping on the backside of our hands, and I'd like you to think about something that's happened today that caused a bit of anxiety. And only one thing, right? So this is a mistake that we can make with EFT is we try to fix our whole life in like one 2-minute session. But if we just think about something that caused us some anxiety today or something that's going on that we're Not looking forward to. And then rate the intensity of that on a scale of 0 to 10. 10 is the most intense, like a car crash, huge. And you can guess, it's not that important, it's just a way for us to rate what's happening. Yeah, take a big deep breath into the belly, exhale to the side. And let's start off by saying, this made me anxious. Tap between the eyebrows where the hairy part ends. I feel stressed about this.
I feel stressed about this.
Tap to the side of the eye. I feel really stressed.
I feel really stressed.
Tapping under the eye.
I don't like feeling stressed. I don't like feeling stressed. I wish this wasn't happening.
I wish this wasn't happening.
And even though... And even though I'm feeling stressed, I'm feeling stressed, and I don't like it, and I don't like it, I love and accept myself.
I love and accept myself.
Tapping under the nose, taking a deep breath. Ah, yeah, underneath the nose.
Yeah, that's it.
I forgive myself for feeling stressed.
I forgive myself for feeling stressed.
It's completely understandable why this is stressing me out.
It's completely understandable why this is stressing me out.
And I'm choosing to give myself.
Choosing to give myself.
All the love and support that I need.
All the love and support that I need.
Because I'm worthy of my love and support.
Because I'm worthy of my love and support. And I'm actually the only person who knows how hard this is.
I'm actually the only person who knows how hard this is.
So I'm choosing to give myself that love now.
So I'm choosing to give myself that love now.
Beautiful. Tap into the chest.
Deep breath.
This anxiety, this anxiety, it's okay that it's there.
It's okay that it's there.
And then just imagine this like loving, compassionate Part of you, just sort of sidling up to that anxious part, wrapping an arm around it, giving a great big hug, and not trying to change it or push it away or tell it that it's wrong and it shouldn't be there. Just actually just loving it. I'm choosing to love this anxious part of me.
I'm choosing to love this anxious part of me.
Which is just trying to help me.
Which is just trying to help me.
Tap into the front of the ribs where the ribs Yeah, you got it.
And I'm open to the possibility that it's safe for me to release just 20% of this anxiety, releasing a chunk of this anxiety, because it's not really serving me. The side of the body where the bra strap would be if you were wearing a bra strap. You can do like that, or you can give yourself a hug and a kiss on the chest. I love and accept myself.
I love and accept myself.
And nothing needs to change.
And nothing needs to change.
For me to be completely worthy of this love.
For me to be completely worthy of this love.
I am safe.
I am safe.
And I am loved.
And then allow it to happen to the wrist, so the wrist bends.
We're almost done.
Take a big deep breath. I'm choosing to step into my center now.
I'm choosing to step into my center now.
I am so strong and wise.
I am so strong and wise.
I'm perfectly equipped to deal with this situation. I'm perfectly equipped to deal with this situation.
Into the backside of the hand.
I have everything I need. I have everything I need to take the next step.
To take the next step.
And I'm choosing to do so. I'm choosing to do so in a relaxed, in a relaxed and trusting way.
In a trusting way.
Big deep breath.
Amazing. And then just tune in again to what number you give the thing that you were feeling anxious about. And it's okay if the number went up a little bit. Sometimes there's some defrosting as layers come off. But, uh, yeah, let me see if— put your hand up if you're feeling the same or worse than when we started. Put your hand up if you're feeling like it went down a little bit.
Amazing!
In what, like 2-3 minutes? So yeah, let's just tap all over and finish up. Good job, everyone. Oh, that was so much fun. I haven't done that in person in ages.
Thank you. I was like, as soon as I tuned into my thing, I was like, and then within a minute I was like, this is good.
And like, this is something I'd love to talk about.
It's like, as women, we're messy, and it's okay to be messy, and it's okay to feel shit. And yeah, I'd love to talk about that. I mean, this is something that, like, the other day I was being messy and you looked at me like, I love you even more now.
She loves my messy bits.
And I just, you know, it's okay to be messy. And I do think the more we can lean in as women and be messy and be human beings, that that is stepping into the feminine. Because the masculine are quite— they often don't, they don't feel as much as we do. You know, and they are more that the divine masculine, that presence. But as women, we need that presence because we're like, sometimes we are— how do you say, Rebecca? Like, what's your saying? That we are the—
Oh, I, I often share that just as we are the sunshine, we are the storm.
Just as we are the sunshine, we're also the storm.
That's the feminine.
And when we start to embrace that and not shame that— and that's why I love this practice, because I'm I love myself even though I got anxious today. I got anxious and maybe it was silly and maybe it was dramatic, but I love myself anyway.
Can I share one more thing on that?
Yeah, please.
So what happens when we're children is that we're given love when we're good and we have love withheld from us when we're naughty or we're bad. And like, fair dues to— sorry, that's a very Scottish expression— like, it's okay. Our parents, they get tired. They're human beings. They have unresolved trauma of their own. Like, this isn't about shaming people as parents, but as kids we learn like, oh, I have to be good in order to receive love.
Mm-hmm.
And then we grew up as adults and we think the same still applies, that we have to be good in order to receive love from others. And most importantly, we have to be good and we have to do everything right in order to give ourselves love.
And that's not true.
We're actually able to love ourselves in every single moment, especially in our messiness, because There's a lot more hype around self-love now, but the moments when we need self-love are the moments when we're crumbling and we're sobbing and we don't know how we're going to get through this situation.
Like, that's when we really need to experience and practice self-love. It's often just coming from our childhood, from that space.
Thank you for explaining that.
And yeah, I feel that for me personally, there's a lot of comparison. I'm always looking at people on Instagram and Being like, oh, they seem to have the perfect life and they're so happy, and feeling jealous. Or I'll be in a cafe and I'll see someone with their boyfriend, like, their life's perfect and I wish I had that. And more and more what I'm leaning into is radical, fierce honesty and sharing all of me. And yeah, maybe you could share a little bit about this because I— I feel that you really embody like radical honesty, radical truth, and I think a lot of like the, the work that you do with like the breath, like that's messy.
Yeah.
And it helps to release a lot of these belief systems. But yeah, they're even talking a little bit about comparison and like how— like I'm just seeing so many people online right now, like everything's moved online and everyone's starting to build their Instagrams and we're not being in person like this.
And yeah, I'm wondering your experience with that.
Anything you'd like to share?
There was so much in that question. So I would love to know first, of you guys, who's done breathwork before?
Who has done breathwork?
Has done breathwork, yeah.
Well, I mean, Wim Hof, like, from online classes from Wim Hof.
Oh yeah, yeah, that's still breathwork, so we're— you kind of have an idea of what it is. I have to actually Thank you, Jen, a lot, because I've been doing this work. I met Jen 2 years ago, and I think the mirror of this friendship, um, has taught me— I'm gonna get teary. Oh, like, I'd been working towards expressing, like, full expression of myself and not hiding the parts, and I tend to be somebody who avoids conversations, situations. And getting to know Jen and her level of self— of acceptance of me, it's like my nervous system doesn't understand it because it was never something I received as a child. And so it's— there was, there was a lot of like shifty eye kind of, is she for real?
Right.
And, and so it's It's an interesting thing because this isn't necessarily similar to what happened with us. This isn't as common, would you say?
Would you agree?
Is it common for you guys to experience an unconditional friendship, or is it more uncommon?
Occasionally.
Occasionally. So yeah, not common. And stepping out of like spiritual communities, how common do you think it would Yes. And I think the key of it is because I was teaching breathwork only for a year before I moved to Bali, and so I've been teaching for 3 years, um, been practicing for 6, 5, I can't remember. Um, and through my own journey of self-acceptance and self-love through self-acceptance through breathwork has been Like going from not being able to hear people outside of about a meter to having an operation, having that side of my head open up to sound. This side still stayed closed. So even if Jen spoke to me on this side, it's not as easy for me to hear unless she's in full projection. I remember thinking to myself, my children— I'm not going to hear my children. Like, how am I gonna hear that they're screaming at night? They're gonna feel so neglected by me.
And, oh, tears wanting to come out. What about that?
That took a lot of diving into why have I given permission for my body to switch off one of my main senses.
What was that?
Why was that?
And I was speaking to a friend yesterday, and he was also a breathwork facilitator, and he was saying, you know, why do you think that this still hasn't healed on its own? Because with EFT, with breathwork, with a lot of energetic practices, we can heal the body through the mind. So, and you guys probably have had experience, I know Jamie definitely So, and Jen, and so if we can heal it, why is this still going on? And it comes to this like really deep, um, trauma that maybe we may not have access to in this moment, maybe at some point in the future we might. I think that, uh, modalities like— and I'm going to get to the second part of your question in a minute— I think modalities like meditation and yoga For those of us who do have trauma, even, you know, little ones, big ones, it doesn't really matter. I feel like it creates a container of safety. Like, these modalities create safety so that we feel safe enough to go into ourselves, to be able to start to look at our trauma without feeling like I'm going to lose control. Is this resonating?
Yeah.
What was the second part of the question?
There was a lot in there.
So it's about being human.
Oh, thank you.
You know, like, it really— there's so much comparison. Like, we see people— people always act like they're happy, and so when we don't start to express that truth—
So there's, there's, you know, fake happy and happy happy. Like, you know, the fake happy of, oh yeah, everything's good. I get on the phone to my mom—
I hope she's not gonna ever watch this—
and she's like, She's like—
I said, how are you, Mum?
She's like, I'm good, yeah, I'm good. I'm like, that tells me absolutely nothing.
So we've got, you know, the Western society of like, I'm good, everything's okay, especially in Australia.
Um, well, actually everywhere.
Um, everything's fine, everything's good, but how is that real? And so coming to self-acceptance and comparison, I think the more we come into a state of acceptance self, the less we compare ourselves to others. And so when we're not comparing ourselves to somebody else, we're no longer in competition with that person. When it comes to sisterhood, this is really important. Unsubscribe from the, from the conditioning of competition. And so that's not easy because like there's this little— it feels inside my body, it feels like there's this like little snake Not a snake like a Kundalini snake. It's like a cheeky snake that sort of climbs in here and sort of goes, she's doing that thing, like, oh, you're not doing as good as that.
Does that resonate?
Mm-hmm.
She's way more pretty than you. And it's about being able to hear when that's going on and how often we're scrolling on social media and we're looking at what other people are doing. Some days, on my not so good days, I have to to put it down because really and truly what that cheeky part of me is doing is telling me a false truth. Because while she may be doing something that's fucking amazing—
excuse my French—
I'm not.
It's like comparing apples and oranges.
Even though we might be doing the same thing, my vibrational frequency My level of consciousness is different to somebody else's who's doing exactly the same work. I was thinking about this the other day. We need more breathwork facilitators, we need more EFT practitioners, because— and everything else, not just us— because I can't breathe the world yet. Maybe one day, but like, I, I can't do it on my own.
Yeah.
I have to do this With others. And so if we can bring each other up, lift each other up, fix each other's crowns— that's so cliché, but like, how can we be more supportive of those around us, men and women? But mostly I'm really speaking to women. Yeah.
Yeah, I really feel this is wisdom that, that for me It's been one of the greatest things I've had to learn, is to not compare myself to women, to not be jealous of women, to be like, well, she's doing this and I should be there. And it's coming into those shoulds. I don't know if anyone else has any experience.
Does anybody experience this? Cool.
Yeah, okay, not alone.
It's big. And I think the only way we can shift it is to start being real, to start voicing it. For me, the way that When I feel triggered by a woman or I feel jealous, I go up and tell her. I say, I can't stop looking at you. I love how you dress and I wish I looked like you.
And she looks at me like, I wish I looked like you.
You know? And so I feel like this is a really important topic.
She's all about it.
I love that.
I know it's just that, yeah, there's a lot of pressure.
It is, it's a lot of pressure.
Yeah. Um, yeah, but while we're like speaking, maybe you could take us through a little breath practice.
Yeah.
So for like, maybe like for example, like I'm on social media and I'm getting in a huff and I'm comparing myself, like a little breath practice I could do.
Yeah.
So The the what am I saying?
The I love you so much.
I just got completely lost in something else. What's what do I do? It's called rebirthing breathwork. Thank you. So rebirthing breathwork practitioner. So what that is is It's different to Wim Hof in that all you're doing is breathing in and out through your nose, and it's gentle. So the the what makes rebirthing different to other forms of breathwork, if you're aware of other forms, is that it's a little bit like yin yoga in comparison to ashtanga. So it's just as powerful, just as strong, just in a different way. People have very deep experiences. experiences. And what it does, because you're breathing in and out through the nose, is it drops you into parasympathetic nervous response. So rest, restore, repair. All breathwork does that in some ways. The breathing in and out through the nose is, is especially for, um, yeah, dropping people into rest and restoring from there. And this is the best way for the body to start to heal. So There is something that Leonard— he is the creator of rebirthing breathwork— he taught 20 breaths. And all it is is just 20 breaths in the morning, conscious connected breaths. So the same like all of the other breathwork styles, it's conscious connected breathing. And you're breathing in through the nose and out through the nose, and there's a dropping of your diaphragm. I'm just going to let the diaphragm go. So I'm going to invite you just to sit up nice and straight. Sitting up, usually when I breathe sitting up, it feels like there's Force, like a push that's coming out the belly, but there's—
you don't want to push it.
There's no pushing with breathwork. It's only ever really gentle. Whenever I do this, I lose count, so all my Virgos in the room, don't count because it could be 20, it could be 15, it could be 19. Let's just roll with it. Close your eyes. I'm a Pisces.
Hi everybody.
All right, closing your eyes. So take a deep breath in through your nose. Open the mouth just for the first one, rinse it out, let it go.
Ah.
Breath in through the nose and let it go.
Breath in, let go. Breath in, let go.
In and out through the nose.
Breathing in, let go.
Breath in, let go. Breath in, let go. Breath in, let go.
Breath in, let go. Breath in, breath in, breath in, breath in, breath in.
About 5 more.
On the next breath in, breathe in all the way. Open mouth, let it go. And just pause, pause on the out-breath. Wait until you naturally feel like you need to breathe in.
To take the next breath in.
Notice what you can feel inside your body. Notice what, what is coming alive. Maybe there's sensations, tingles. When you're ready, you can take a breath.
Take one more deep breath in.
Let it go. When you're ready, you can open your eyes. What did you notice?
Popcorn style. Did anybody get more agitated, or did anyone get relaxed?
More relaxed?
Tingles.
Tingles.
A lot of that energy.
Bite the bits more. Yeah, it's amazing how quick So I would love to add one more thing.
There's something that you can do when you've got PMS. It's a little bit more dynamic, but it's in and out through your nose. Put your arms in the air, breathing in and breathing out, breathing in, breathing out, breathing in, breathing out. Same rhythm as we did before.
5 more.
Take a big deep breath in, stretch up, open mouth. Holding stillness. You might be a little bit woozy with this one. Ready?
One just moves things a bit more stronger.
Do you have a question?
I do. I'm just wondering why— I'm familiar with both, but why with MS?
Why do you associate those two?
I haven't heard that.
It's, it's In honesty, my own experience of breathing in the morning—it's like that's the most effective to get me back to a place of neutrality because when I've got PMS, I wake up sometimes and I'm just like, get in my way, someone! I dare you! And so, but so this—I don't know why. So if anybody knows, please.
Please pop it in the comments on the thingies.
It's a bit more dynamic.
Yeah, it's moving. Sometimes there's a little bit more of a contraction in the belly.
Yeah, I'll do that.
I have a speculation, uh, because this is very Kundalini yoga and this is working into the lymph glandular system underneath the arms, and this is where we actually move things. And the luteal, the PMS, is increased hormone sort of stagnated within the body— estrogen dominance, testosterone So when we go like this, what we're doing is we're pumping. Heart's moving things.
There we go.
Yeah, I love that. I love that too.
And thank you for bringing up PMS.
I'd actually love to talk about it a little bit because I like to debunk PMS. I know you're really passionate about this, debunking PMS.
Oh, I think both of us are. All of us are, really. And I think, you know, everybody that is a bleeding or soon-to-be or, you know, post-bleeding woman would love to know more about what PMS is.
I love to talk about PMS as well. Yeah, yeah, I can briefly mention something. You know, PMS is considered this normal experience that we as women have and that we have to put up with this, but there's nothing normal about PMS. That's not the natural state of the human, the female body. That's an endocrine system that's under some burden. So the PMS is actually the 3rd stage of our cycle, which is the luteal phase, and this happens to be when all of our hormones, male and female, are rising rapidly. Rising, rising, rising. And actually, just as we begin to bleed, everything drops. And sometimes we will experience that as kind of like a blissful, like, oh, even if your cramps have come on, because all of those hormones have been rising and then it comes down. But PMS, you know, like, I thought that I would live with that for my entire life. Like, I really did think, okay, that's just what we deal with, just like scream at my boyfriend and red-hot rage and eat a bunch of chocolate. But now I'm experiencing it's like, that's not, you know, like, that's not something that we have to work with. That's not something that we have to tolerate. I'm curious, is it something that everyone here is still working with? It's like, can you, can you feel that it's that time of the month?
Yeah, and thank you because I feel you have a fantastic way and a very educated way of explaining the hormonal shifts, and I work with the spiritual sense of bleeding. And PMS to me is a signal. It's a signal that we're taking on too much. It's a signal that we're ready to put everything down that is creating, you know, the tension, creating—
The stress.
You know, the sensations in the body that can often occur as an experience of cramping, an experience of bloating, an experience of sore muscles, tiredness, migraine headaches.
Sore boobs.
Sore boobs. Well, the boobs is— when that's happening, it's a direct relation to the fact that at this time of the month we're more tender and our boobs are sitting right on our hearts. So if we're getting these sore boobs, it's because we're more tender-hearted, and it's a signal, an experience that's signaling to be more gentle with ourselves, you know. And that's what this, this premenstrual symptoms are. They're a signal, they're experiences, they're not our story. You know, and for— just let me know if I go on.
Absolutely.
Because for so, so long we have been encouraged to believe this story, to live into this story. Again, like I circle back to what I said before about taking 4 Nurofen, plugging it up, pretending it's not happening. And there's a piece in there around beating ourselves up for having PMS. So for, you know, it's been going on for a couple of thousand years, sister. It's not just us, our mothers, their mothers either. It's like, you know, since we were living in this matriarchal society where the women were so highly revered that we were the goddess. So around that time, like I was saying the other day, when the church took over—
Bless them.
And, and shifted everything around how intelligent women are, how intelligent our menstrual cycle is. When they shifted that to becoming the sacred cup, which is the shape of the yoni, and the blood, which is the bringer of life, into the, the blood being the wine into a goblet, into the church, it started to distort and create separation between how sacred our blood is to what the church would then, you know, taking a right-hand turn and teaching. And it was around this time, we talked about sister wound just a moment ago, that came into our psyches as well.
Mm-hmm.
And it was around this time so many other things were going on, the witch journeys and all of these other, like, things that were creating trauma in our ancestral lines. Mm-hmm. Like what you suggested before about trauma, it's— a lot of us are born with it. And it's a really curious thing that quite often when young women start to bleed at menarche, that trauma can come through, and it can come through what's called the red thread. which is something that I talk about in the workshops.
Mm-hmm.
You've heard of this?
Yeah, Jane Harvey Collins is a teacher of mine and teaches this red thread trauma and how to work with that.
And yeah, like the, the PMS thing, so I think back to that. There's also many other labels that the, you know, the modern medicine pharmaceutical companies and doctors, male and female, have given us labels to, to support us in believing that there's something wrong with us, you know. And oh, I just get my whole body rushes. There's nothing wrong with being us. We're women, and we've been in this hellbent loop where we've been led to believe that PMS is— there's something wrong with it, so therefore there's something wrong with us because we're women.
Mm-hmm.
And every month we're experiencing it, and it's seeding deeper and deeper into our psyche that there's something wrong with us, you know. And there's nothing wrong with us. This is to be shifted and changed. And this is what we can change through tapping. Oh, I get shivers, you know. Through breathwork. Yeah. Through loving yourself. Yeah.
Through nutrition.
Through, you know, supporting each other. At this time of month as well. You know, how often I've— again, my background is makeup and hair, and I work with big groups of women. I myself also would be like down on her because she's on her period, and we— but we use some terrible terms, really derogatory terminology for your moon cycle.
Mm-hmm.
And I try not to use period so much because that means it stops. You know, it's a— an American client said that to me. She was like, you know what, period is a full stop. I'm like, yeah, you're right. Like, our cycle is continuous. We're always shifting and changing. And, and if we are like— and I'm sure lots of us here are watching on the playback— attuned to astrology, not only is our cycle changing, but every 2 days we're in a different phase of the moon, like there's a different astrology moving through our being, you know. So we are cycles within cycles within cycles. So this PMS thing, I don't buy it.
Yeah.
I feel like if we are experiencing things like, um, polycystic ovary syndrome, I myself have been managing premenstrual dysphoric disorder since I started bleeding. So about— most of us bleed for about 38 to 42 years. So probably I'm into my 38th year of managing that. And I was told— I don't know if I've shared this with you girls— I was told at the age of 25 that I would be better off having a hysterectomy by a doctor. Oh my gosh. Who had been treating me through bioidentical hormones to try and shift my bloods, that the potential risk of contracting breast cancer through having an early hysterectomy would be better than the way I'm living at that time. Now, that was enough for me to say, I don't want to be an experiment anymore. And for years I just dealt with it. I was taking the Nurofen, I was taking all the, you know, the painkillers and tampons, plugging it up, pretending it wasn't happening. But once I started again to, you know, work in this way and connect to my blood, looking at it with love, using a cup or, you know, just beautiful organic cotton pads that I could rinse out and work with my blood and really attuned to my cyclic nature, that's when things like the pain stopped— slowed down first and then stopped. And my psyche around that middle of the month when I was a bit dysphoric— I still get, I still get a level of crazy. However, now I celebrate it.
Mm-hmm.
And I live in an environment where I can burst into And I can, you know, I've learned how to regulate myself, celebrate myself in all of my seasons. And that's the other thing I wanted to piece into it as well, like, in that, you know, in times Up until this moment, yeah, we have been celebrated in our spring, in our maiden and summer seasons, you know, all across the media, in every magazine. We're probably getting magazines here, but even in television and film, we're always looking up to these supposed goddesses that are, you know, young and bountiful. And it's, it's not the case. It's not an authentic woman, you know. It's not an authentic representation of femininity either. That's a whole other thing. There's a lot. Yeah, there's a lot.
So yeah, yeah, thank you for sharing that. Yeah, I, I feel the— for me, and I don't know if you ladies agree, the luteal phase is a time of evaluation.
Hmm.
Like, what isn't working?
Because we're preparing for our bleed, which is the time to go down. And so when we hit ovulation, that's when we have testosterone, we've got, um, estrogen's really, really high, and then we have this dip. And that's the time that women start to feel like, ugh, and everything comes to the surface. So if we have unresolved traumas or pains or addictive patterns, everything's going to come up.
If we've overcommitted at ovulation, All of a sudden I'm like, why did I say yes to all these things?
Oh my gosh. And then I review that and it's an opportunity to change my life and shift. But a lot of them, I've got PMS and I'm crazy. But it's like, no, you've just got some stuff to sort out.
I was listening to someone, um, this morning actually, and she said, don't let anyone ovulating, um, be in charge of your scheduling or your diary because you'll be that Booked out for the whole month, and you'll be like, you regret it.
You regret it.
Yeah, because then when you're in your luteal phase, the estrogen is actually literally going like this every day, shifting and changing. So that's why we're one minute feeling good, then we're sad, and then we do have another point where it peaks and like, I'm back, and then no, you're not. And that's why we're feeling that, but it's happening for a reason. It's a superpower when you can understand what's going on.
There's something I want to add to this. I'm so, I'm so grateful we're doing this workshop and we're bringing awareness to it, and so many women in the world are. I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but there's a whole movement that's growing by the day at the moment that says women— sorry, this is not PG— women having a menstrual cycle is unnatural and demonic and satanic. Have you guys heard?
Yeah, I have. Yeah, the whole Matrix.
So, you know, I have a lot of women reaching out to me right now saying, what are your thoughts on this? And now send me a post. Yeah, periods aren't natural, we shouldn't be bleeding at all as women. And the only people I can find driving these movements are men, fruitarians, and breatharians. And trust me, I lost my period when I went fruitarian as well, you know, like that's the whole thing. So I'm really grateful that we're here talking about this because I've got a lot of women who are in my programs that are going, this really resonates actually to hear this, Sarah, please open to it. And I think, no, we're so upset with our periods because our endocrine system is imbalanced. We've got all of these disruptors, obstructions in the body, and when we bleed, it's not fun.
Yeah.
And it doesn't feel natural because the way we're bleeding Bleeding isn't natural, and we can't throw the baby out with the bathwater and say, well, we shouldn't be bleeding at all. We need to bring it into balance.
I need to speak to it. Yeah. So I have also had— I've been sharing this work for quite some time and recently did an online workshop where this was in the comments of a post on Facebook that The moon is a synthetic that's been— and I've actually done the workshops on this as well when I lived in Australia, and they were awesome, intense ceremonies. Um, and I did do the reconnecting of my own neural pathways and disconnecting to the charge of the moon. It was an awesome workshop, but I'm not really sure affected anyways. So yeah, the moon is a synthetic and it's been brought in as a false light. And whether we believe it or not, I mean, it's right up there with the Earth is flat for me, which again, it could be. But we are being cyclic beings, so affected by the light.
Mm-hmm.
And this is working with the endocrine And when we are super affected by this bright, bright light of the full moon, the word lunatic comes to mind, and it sets things in motion that are shifting and changing, and it affects the tides and affects women's cycles. So there is a piece in there that's potentially— I mean, we don't really know. But my answer to this was something along the lines of, for thousands and thousands and thousands of years, I mean, we've dug up goddess statues, we've had text in history that's really showed us that without any shadow of a doubt, the menstrual cycle is what many tribes revered. They used it for planting. They used it to see what the barometer— as a barometer of the health of all the women in the community was. So for thousands of years in this dimension, women have bled. It's an opportunity to clear out what we take on as well. So again, getting back to the yoni as being The chalice. Thank you. The sacred cup. We are receptacles, so we're taking so much on from outside ourselves. And you know, if you're late on your bleed, you just like feel so full. And when we bleed, there's the release. And the first 2 days of our bleed, we're clearing the— shedding the lining of our womb, our uterine lining. And then the second day, we're generally clearing all of those patterns of information that are stored in the blood out of ourselves to actually get to the space on the 4th day of our cycle where we're in the void, where we're in this complete blissful state of the void. And for women to be able to rest into that is where the gift is. Yeah.
So that therefore next month we can take On what is, you know, accepted, expected of us.
Yeah, so this piece around the moon, maybe it's true when I get to the next realm and the ascension into breatharianism. Maybe I won't bleed and maybe that will be true, but I feel in this dimension we've chosen to be here in this world.
This is That's just me.
Thank you for sharing all that. I mean, for me, it was losing my cycle for nearly a year being a fruitarian that I connected more deeply with my cycle, because I had people telling me like, your period's a detox symptom, you're not meant to bleed, the moon is fake, and all of those things. But I know the power of my cycle, and maybe it is, maybe the moon is fake, but it impacts me, it impacts the oceans, it impact the plant, impact everything. It's real.
And what about projecting onto that thing? If we're looking at the moon every night going, oh, evil, the soul, the soul of the moon is left and it's so evil and she's messing with me, it's like, what reality do you want to live in?
Yeah, that's going to impact you. I'm grateful for the moon. I'm grateful for the cycle. Like, everything that's moved within my body is like— I call it my superpower. So yeah, yeah.
How did the cycles work for you when you were premenopausal?
So next to nothing.
And like, yeah, you didn't feel the rhythm of the cycle?
I wasn't ovulating, so I wasn't fertile. So when we're not ovulating— no, it's a bit like when you're on the contraceptive pill, you're constantly in the luteal phase. You're not able to experience these flows. I was on the pill for 10 years, then I came off it, and then I started trying to I was trying different diets and different things because I was really curious, but I wasn't ovulating. And for me, ovulation— my body every single month, our bodies are trying to create life. And when we're not having a cycle that's balanced, we're not able to receive that creative life force that we've been given as a gift as women.
Mm-hmm.
So yeah, it was for me when I wasn't getting my cycle that I started doing all of this womb work. Why is this issue not here? Why am I not bleeding?
And it was the greatest gift.
And that isn't to, you know, say that fruitarian won't work for some people. I've had a lot of girlfriends and students who will lose their cycle and lose their period for 12 months, but then they'll continue with that path and it will actually come back, balance out. And then for other people, they'll go, okay, my spleen is a little bit weak, so I actually need warming foods. I need this and I need to bring in the greens, and we're all going to make those adjustments. So it's not to diss the fruit diet. We— I'm sure all of us here absolutely love fruit. It's just about listening and getting that feedback from your cycle and what's happening.
Yeah, it really is a barometer of our health. And cycling back to that is the colors of our blood as well. Is huge. So there's so many things that you can tell from the colors of your blood. And again, I'll go deeper into that in workshops, but I just want to touch on one piece now, which is really relevant in these times. I recently had a tricky little virus called COVID, and it wasn't until I let it go 5 or 6 days thinking that it was gonna pass. I'd eaten something weird. I had dengue fever, which happens often here, and it's got similar symptoms. But it wasn't until I bled that I could see the color of my blood was black. It was black.
Mine was too.
Really?
Oh, interesting.
Black.
And that's when I, I reached out and I I had a doctor come and did all the blood tests and things like that.
So what's it like? Blood's just going up? It's actually— there's no oxygen.
Stagnancy.
Yeah, so no oxygen. And I knew, like, when it was that dark— and I actually didn't have trouble breathing, I was still opening the chest, I still had smell and taste, and that's why I was confused.
But when they came that, that I thought I better get blood tests and look into it, and it wasn't something that I'd eaten.
So yeah. Wow.
Yeah, so fabulous.
I'd love to do a little into another kind of topic that I feel is really relevant, and that's addictive patterns, which is kind of what I was flowing into being in that luteal phase is when these patterns that we're in come to the surface. And the left and right side of the brain become— they're both balanced at that time.
They start communicating.
Yes, you start to get— that's why it's a time to evaluate and start to feel like, what's going on in my system? What needs to be released? So a great time to do EFT, breathwork, and everything. But I know that I'd love you to share a little bit around, um, kinesiology And how you can use that for breaking patterns. And if anyone wants to jump in to talk about— because I feel like addictive patterns, we're all in them, and until we see them, we don't know that they're there. And until we can love them— and that's why I love EFT, because you're actually like, I have this pattern and it's here, but I love— and I love myself anyway. And you might be in a breathwork journey, then you're like, oh, I didn't know I was doing that thing. Oopsie. You know, so yeah, I'd love to talk about addictive patterns.
Do you have anything you'd like to share?
Yeah, I mean, something I'm going to share with all of you is it saved my life. This saved my life. You know, like, I've been on the healing journey for 7 years, uh, physical healing. I had a lot of disease in my womb, but trauma healing— turns out there's just like a big bucket of endless stuff in here, you know. And, um, I hit rock bottom 2 years ago. I was in Australia and And all my binge eating came back and I was just falling apart. 2 people very close to me— there's 3 people in this world who were so close to me— 2 of them betrayed me in a way that I never could imagine, ever.
And so I called upon EFT and I was like, thank you, better be now.
And it was working and it was working, it was so good. And I kind of reached a threshold. So what I want to, what I want to introduce Kinesiology, because I'm going to speak about it in a way it hasn't been spoken about by a lot of other, you know, osteos and people who use this tool as a muscular testing of does this supplement resonate with this body, does this food resonate with the body. Mine is a little bit more multi-dimensional than that, even though I muscle test every time before I eat, every time I take a supplement, anytime I do anything. I've already muscle tested several times throughout this thing. So You mentioned something super beautiful, which is these false truths that are coming through, because we all have this mind and our minds are wounded.
Yes.
And it's not just our minds, it's the collective mind, and it is feeding us so much bullshit every second of the day. And it can become so confusing to actually listen to your intuition and go, what is the truth here? And so what kinesiology offered me— and I will preface this that it's a practice, that the first time you do it, for me, like, it's not going to kick in because we have all of these mechanisms as to why we're not trusting ourselves, our psychic channel, our power, our gifts, and our higher self, which is what kinesiology is. It is a direct through Through the muscular system in the body, we are creating a direct connection with the higher self, which is a non-physical aspect of our consciousness that is beyond time-space. It knows everything, and it's not affected by the woundedness. It's not affected by the trauma. You could be raped and watch your mother be killed, and the higher self is still sitting there holding space going, are you having a good time down there? Like, are you learning yourself? Soul contracts and like, I'm here, I love you, but they can't— that the higher self is beyond duality, it's beyond right, wrong, good or bad. So kinesiology is what I would call a direct pathway into the subconscious mind, which Bruce Lipton and Joe Dispenza would describe as an aspect of the psyche. What I would define as the subconscious mind is an infinite portal into like a library of information of not only your life in this life, but all past lives, all of your generations. And so as we learn to train our body to actually give us an answer through the muscular system, what happens is we start to open up this pathway and we start to receive what you could call— I'm not too sure that I can even like say that there is an ultimate truth. truth because everything is so— but if there were an ultimate truth, if we could get the truest of the true of the true answer, we have that available to us. We do. And so my kinesiology— and I'm going to be guiding us through a beginner practice so that you can start practicing at home— but mine— so I've been using this every single day for 2 years, and mine is so incredibly strong that I Is it— but when it really started to kick in, I would sit on my couch with my eyes closed with a coin in my hand, and I would throw it on the ground. Is it heads? Is it tails? Look at that. And I would get 30 out of 30 right. And then I would go to a bag in my room, a huge suitcase that's this by this, and I'm trying to unpack, but I want that one little lacy bra that is in here somewhere. And I'd go left corner, upper, upper corner, left corner, left corner, lower corner. And I would like map and it would go left, you know, go right bottom. And I'd go, okay, and I'd pull it out. Like, this is how, this is how like ridiculous it is.
Like, this is—
That's huge.
I'm like using this every, every second of the day. And kinesiology loves— what is it? Um, it loves quantum, like it loves Numbers and lists, numbers and lists. So you can go to a page with 100 different belief systems on it and go 1 to 10, 10 to 20, and you can literally find the belief system that's triggered. You know, I am not ever going to come into financial success, and immediately you can feel that in the body. So this is the work I'm doing on myself every single day. It's the work I'm doing with clients. And so the most powerful thing that this has helped me with Which I want to— I'm going to go into more in the workshop that I do.
Let me see.
It's Parts Work, because what this tool gifted me was the support network and the framework to feel safe, for a part of me to start going, she's free, to start going, something really bad happened to me. That was the tool. Again, it's like allowing this to move whilst doing it. And then I went into 18 months of cognitive dissonance and said, no, don't you lie to me, bad girl. Just as I was a mother, don't you tell Priya to stop being a drama queen. And I shunned her for 18 months until again a new layer of my life arrived where I came into a very long-term committed relationship with a beautiful man who was holding me. And in our sexual union, it just came back again and again and again. And my hair was falling out in handfuls for 2 years straight. And the day that I turned towards her with the muscle testing, finding out how old she was through the muscle testing, finding out every detail of the situation, I turned towards her and I go, I believe you, baby. I believe you. I trust you. My hair stopped falling out. My scalp psoriasis disappeared. disappeared. I had like all of this gut inflammation, like literally had symptoms I was dealing with for a decade disappear overnight after 7 years of cleansing, detoxing, Romanism, this, go to India for 6 months and heal this, and acupuncture, like everything under the sun. And what I realized is the parts work of integrating the younger aspects of us that split off at a moment where it was too much for the nervous system and said, no, no, no, no, no. And it split off, and it's kind of just been sitting in like an ethereal Divine Mother womb, like, nope, I'm not going to the body, I'm not coming back down there, nope, nope, nope, nope. And it sits out of the body. And this is how most humans in the Western world are living, like totally out of the body, you know. So in a moment, we're going to do a little practice. I want to say I use this for everything, including the practical things, including— do you know what this is useful for? I'm in an argument with my partner and I'm all in the projections, which is when we're in the projections when we're arguing with our partner, and he goes, bring it out. I'm like, and we're going to ask together, is lovable? And we ask the question. And the running joke is like my muscle testing and him are ganging up on me. Because I can Penetrate through all of the projections and all of the faults that you looked at her and all the wounds, and I'm not feeling good, and I can get the ultimate truth straight through my body. And we all just sit here and go, thank you to my higher self and him, even though like my human's like, you guys are ganging up on me and no, I want to stay in this. But we can penetrate through, and we just went like an hour-long argument was completed in 60 seconds because Because I trust my body. I trust my body's yeses and nos. I trust my channel. I trust that I have guides. Goosebumps. Guides that just love me, love me. Guides that are so beyond this dimension that they don't even process through fear and love. They are just love and love and love. So do we feel ready to go into the practice? So the parts work is— I do every morning— is I wake up and I go, is there a part of me that is disgruntled, that is, or is upset? And I'll just go under the age of 10, over the age of 10, okay, 11, 12, okay. What was going on at 12? I got my period, I lost my virginity, I started drinking, I watched my sister fall off a balcony. There was a lot of trauma. And so I go in and I start muscle testing, what is this about, until I get to that acute moment in time and I meet her. And I say, what's up, baby? Let me hear from you. I'm here. And then I become that inner mother to these parts that went through a lot.
Hmm.
And I found after doing a few rounds of this, the 3-year-old, which took months and months and months, and then the 6-year-old, and then, and then it's like stability. Symptoms are disappearing and I'm remaining in that bandwidth.
of truth, which is the healer.
The truth is the healer, the love, the wisdom, you know, because otherwise we're in all of this deluded— like, bloody hell, I gotta say, like, we can be healing for lifetimes. And this is the corruption of the self-help industry, is that if we keep focusing on how broken we are, if we keep focusing on how many more parasites we have to detox from our system—
What are you going to create?
There's an infinite well of quantum created parasites.
They're like, okay, like, I'll appear because you're looking for me and what you're looking for and focusing on. Hello! And the same thing is trauma, toxicity, parasites. So at what point do we start connecting to the higher vessel of truth in which we hold our human and how beautiful and wounded and jealous and insecure she is and all her stuff, that we realize that the truth of what we are is beyond that. There is something else that we can hook up into. So that's what kinesiology has done for me, and, and there's not a second of the day I'm not using it. And it is getting to the point now, you know, using it with clients and stuff, that my clairvoyancy has opened so much that I don't need it.
Mmm.
Because the yes and the no It's, it's, it's a pulse in the body. And when you've done this enough, or the sway test enough, you don't need anymore because you feel the pulse. And this is when we are embodying our higher self through this physical vessel. So I know you look very comfortable, but if, if for anyone who wants to try this, I'm going to guide us through a little thing. And you just want your hands available to you. And in the workshop I do, I'm actually going to You, the more— I'm giving you a very advanced one. I trust that you're all going to be able to do it because I'm going to be guiding you through a meditation. In the workshop, I'm going to be guiding you through all of the beginner steps of kinesiology, of how to actually start trusting your body. For the time being, before we close down our eyes, you've got to trust. You've got to trust yourself and know which hand you're going to use because we're going to have a dominant hand. And we're going to have a less dominant hand. So if you are a left-handed person, or choose, like, with your dominant hand— I'm right-handed, and the way this is confusing is I actually do it opposite. So again, you have to try. If one doesn't feel like it's working, switch hands. But what you're going to do is actually create, create a circle.
Let me see. So you're going to get your dominant hand.
You can If that is your— hang on, let me see, because I've got to do it backwards because I do it— you know what, let me see. No, we're going to do it the way I do it. I'm going to trust. And I just used it for that. Okay, so what you're going to do, if, if your dominant hand is the right hand, you're going to create a loop between your pinky and your thumb. But if you're left-handed, do it on the opposite hand. And then with the other hand, What you're going to do is just create a little thing that isn't going to do anything other than open. So we're just going to do this. So it's going to be the index— is that the index finger?
Mm-hmm.
So this is going to look like this. Okay, so we've got this. And now closing down your eyes and keeping your hands as they are. And just slowing down your breath and feeling the weight of the earth underneath your sacrum, feeling Mama Earth holding you, loving you, and energetically sending out a cord from your sacrum. And imagine that it's going all the way down into the earth and feeling that hooking Feeling that unwavering trust, support, guidance. And if you can sense that you've got a busy mind, just saying, I love you, mind, but I don't need you here right now. I will tend to you in just a moment. And just keep coming back to the breath and the feeling of the ground holding you. And now I want you to start meditating on the point on your dominant hand where your thumb meets your pinky and just start feeling that connection of that skin touching skin. We're not trying to get our muscles to do anything other than relax. We're connecting them, we're creating a loop, a loop of connection. That we're not trying to strengthen. We're just saying, I'm going to allow this skin to touch skin and for these fingers just to rest in this position. And once you've attained that, just bringing a slight little bit— and it's not like a contraction, like a hard, but it's just like activating the muscles so that those fingers Are still lightly kissing one another, but you're activating the muscle so that it's not just a sloppy sloth that can just fall apart. You're activating this divine circle of truth, really feeling that crown chakra at the top of your head opening up into the heavens and linking you to your higher dimensional self. And what we're going to do is we're going to bring the hand that we haven't been working with, that just has the point— the pointer and the thumb together, and we're actually going to bring it into the loop. And you're going to do something like this where you actually part these fingers inside of the loop and you attempt Just start practicing that, just really lightly. You're just reeling it open in a slight way. And just again, creating this into a deeply meditative practice, just feeling those muscles opening and closing. And again, just sending all your awareness into that area of your body. And now, inside of your own head, not aloud, you're going to start practicing this but with asking questions. Now, if your loop stays closed and strong, this will be a signal of truth, alignment, and a yes. When the muscles start to If the light starts to slowly go a little bit weak and the circle breaks and opens in a large way, you've just received a no, a misalignment from your higher self's perspective of what the truth is in this moment. So start with just asking your name or saying, I am so-and-so, and reciting your name and seeing what happens. And then say, I am Tim. I am Margaret. Say a random name and just slowly start practicing what this feels like, where at times the muscle stays strong-ish versus sometimes it goes weak. And be incredibly gentle on yourself because there, there's— if, if the muscle testing isn't accurate at first, there's always a reason. And we can find that reason, we can find that belief system, we can find that mistruth. And when we remove that, your, your muscle testing will kick in and it will never go out again. So just keep practicing. I'm curious to hear where everyone's at. Is anyone receiving something where they feel it's an How did it read?
Yeah.
And so now I just want you to practice for the final— before we finish up, I want you to practice asking a question that's beyond your name, and it's actually a question around alignment. It could be something that you need later today. It could be, do I need to go for a walk or have a bath? And just notice if you can get a response to that of something else that other than that is other than your name or something that simple. Should I have alchemy for dinner or should I have seeds of life?
That's a good question.
It's really only two options, you know. So just like practicing what that feels like for the body actually speaking to you. In a way that is actually superseding the mind altogether. We are working purely with the muscular system. And if you feel like you're having a difficult read, just noticing whether you're still meditating. Is your awareness focused on that skin touching skin, or are you having a thought come up? So that's a little intro to kinesiology, beautiful ladies. I highly recommend you practice because this didn't work for me when I started, uh, and now I can't tell you how much it changes my life. So the more you practice and the more you trust yourself, it's like trusting your body's yeses and nos. Then it starts to kick in. And this is how I do my sessions now with the psychic scene and the kinesiology. We've got something called proxy testing where I can test on your body, on your body with your permission. It was like bad karma if I go in and sometimes I do it to my boyfriend, um, which is not so ideal. But you can go in and proxy test on other people's bodies via Zoom, and that way we're guiding them into very deep shamanic healings with their own self through my higher self working with their body. So it's truly beautiful, and we'll go into all of that at the workshop. Thank you. Life-changing.
Yeah, and there's so many different ways. Yeah, yeah, body pendulum. And I'm always in the supermarket and holding up the bananas to make sure bananas today.
It's such a great tool. Yeah, and you do it so well.
You always— I always see you doing it and it reminds me of the power of it. What you shared today is ridiculous, like being able to go in the suitcase.
Like, I need to be doing this more.
I'm so excited for your workshop.
Yeah.
I'm excited for all of your workshops.
And yeah, like, in closing today, it's been really beautiful for you all to share a little bit about What you're going to be doing in your workshop.
Also, for people watching the video, there's going to be links below to all these workshops and other tools, YouTube, everything from all these amazing women. Yeah, maybe starting from the set down, if you can just like a little brief, like 1 minute about your workshop for anyone that might like to join.
I would love everyone to join my workshop. It It would be such an honor to go deeper into the gifts that using your menstruation as ceremony can bring. And there's a piece in there that I, I weave through that's all about rites of passage, and that's what I feel menstruation is month after month.
It's a rite of passage.
And we look back at that time of your first moon, your menarche, and we go back into that time through a meditation, some breathwork and guidance, and have the opportunity to heal any of the trauma of what was moving through you at that time of your first bleed. And Through there, we're able to hopefully change your, your perception and your relationship with your menstrual cycle. And I feel that this in turn supports you in every future rites of passage of your life. Something like that. I got so captivated by that, it's like I just realized how long it's been.
I would love to do more. Okay, let's see. There's 2 parts of this, you know. The, the focus will be, of course, you know, the first part really is tending to the human and the trauma and integrating The younger aspects and really acutely getting to that need and opening up that, that communication with this little one, you know, and then feeling the benefits of what it feels like to not be drowning in trauma, especially when, as us as light beings, we're processing so much stuff with the collective, you know.
Yes.
So we're, we're all in it and having that toolkit to navigate that. The second piece is truly, it is activating that divine genome within that is wrapped around the DNA of this body.
Right.
You know, it is, it is seeing that there is this crystalline clarity that we can bring into ourselves, and there is this Self with the capital S that sits at the center of all of these wounded aspects that, you know, I meet mine so deeply when I'm on plant medicine, but mostly when I'm coming off And I call her the War Woman because she's pure radiance. Her cup is so full that all she wants to do is give. She wants to give to her children, her partner, herself. You know, when the other day I gave myself— anyway, sorry, this is really, this is really going down a rabbit hole. So, um, so yeah, there's 2 parts. There's the trauma healing we'll focus on, and then it's about actually activating that higher consciousness. I was about to go down like One minute.
I'm sorry. Okay, thanks. Beautiful, thank you. Um, I'm going to be doing a workshop as well, uh, which will be all about learning how to connect with your cycle but from a place of nutrition, understanding what's happening at every single phase, and physically in the body, knowing the right foods to eat, vitamins to take, herbs to take, and also looking at exercise, like Sexually as well, what's happening in the body, like what's happening, how to, um, safe sex and how to get pregnant or not get pregnant. And yeah, it's really awesome stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Um, mine's called Fear to Freedom, and it's next in 2 weeks' time, uh, 12th of August. Thank you. Um, and what we'll be doing is an experiential workshop where we'll be using breath and voice to sort of uncover what's— what fear feels like inside your body.
Mm-hmm.
Um, how to notice when it comes up, when it sneaks in the back door, um, because you've been scrolling too much on social media or you're reading articles, like how quickly it can sort of enter your system. And then we're walking around as, uh, in fear. And when there's When we're in fear, often we're making decisions that are not necessarily in our truest alignment. We're making decisions that are based around, um, potentially an instinctual learned behavior. So I'm excited. We're gonna, we're gonna uncover fear and notice what it feels like in the body, and then we're also going to breathe and then chant, use the voice to—
Move what has come up.
So that's mine. Come, I would love everybody to come. Yeah, all of you guys, all of you.
I honestly can't remember. I wrote the description so long ago, but in essence, from memory, it's around creating your dream life. So there's all these subconscious blocks that we have. We all have things that We want and we desire, whether that's a partner or to have our message reach more people. And what stops us from being able to achieve that are these subconscious blocks. So I'll be guiding us in a process of manifestation through actually permanently releasing and clearing these subconscious blocks. I spent a lot of time writing the description, and it is exactly what I will be doing on the day, but off the top of my head— And I love that. I love myself, but I can't remember. Yeah, in essence, I remember it's around using EFT to manifest because, yeah, like, we're all working on ourselves, we're all actively doing that, and we don't need to get stuck in this like, oh my God, I've got more trauma and like shadow to process. And like, the one part of my journey I didn't really share was that I hated myself to the point that I was suicidal until I was 29, you know, that like When I was 25, there was a Tai Chi teacher who said to me, like, wow, I've met a lot of people who hate themselves, but no one at the level that you do. And I'm like, top of the class at something. And so I really— it wasn't like I didn't beam in happy and vulnerable and full of self-love.
That's not my background at all.
I really, like, clawed myself through hell to earn every drop of self-love that I now have for myself. Myself and whatever I can do to teach other people how to experience that self-love and not just have it as a tag on Instagram, but like actually feel that self-love.
So there'll be a lot of that in the workshop. Thank you. Thank you. So are they every week?
They'll be every 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks, yes. So on Thursday. Yeah, I wasn't sure exactly Yes, they're already all listed on the website, so if anyone's interested, you can check that out. But thank you everyone for coming. We are just past 6 if anyone needs to leave, but otherwise, if anyone does have any, like, a few quick questions, we're available for that as well if anyone wants to ask anything. And if not, thank you for all being here, and so grateful.
Thank you.
We're all on social media, we're all available.
Yes. Are there any questions? Not really a question, I just wanted to add to the point that, you know, with the advent of Christianity and how women were perceived, there was, of course, you know, but I feel like that's a pattern in so many religions.
Like, for example, even in Hinduism, like, when you're bleeding, you're You're not allowed to enter the kitchen, you're not allowed to cook your food, um, the husbands don't touch you. And even in Nepal, it's to the point that the girls are sent away for 5 days. There's a small tiny hut that they spend time there for like 5 days all alone. Many of them die.
So it's—
Oh my God.
So the level of seeing—
you see your period at that level of, you know, like, oh my God. So that trauma, I think, that builds around you and that notion about like Okay, this is— and it's considered impure, right? So women are not allowed out of the temple. So it's like, oh, I'm impure right now and I'm bleeding out impure blood. That's the notion that we usually have. So it's like, then how you're wired to see that entire cycle is completely huge.
It is huge. And thank you because it's very vulnerable to talk about. Especially when we're talking about, um, you know, our belief systems and the church and our heritage, our ancestral heritage in our backgrounds. And yeah, okay, so this shame piece, or piece around it being unclean.
Yeah.
There was actually a really beautiful reason for us not being able to go into the temples, but the distortion has made it very blurry.
Yes.
So what happens when we're bleeding, we're so open, we're so incredibly vulnerable. Our womb space is open and our pineal gland is the center of our— the seat of our soul is completely wide open. And when we're in that state, going into temples Or to churches, even being around men, and I'll get to that in a sec, it actually affects our psyche. So we— it was a really beautiful reason not to go into these, these spaces. However, for shamanic women and priestesses back in the day, we would protect our dantian, protect our womb space with womb belts.
Yeah.
And we would wear something to cover our So that's shifted and changed a little as well. The piece around not being around men, and they've taken it as not being around women, that's the distortion, was when we are bleeding energetically, uh, we're out— the energy and, um, the, I guess, the Kundalini is spiraling down.
Mm-hmm.
Even just being around a man, whether we're actually engaging sexual relations a lot of the time can cause our energy to spiral back up, and therefore there's a disturbance in our flow.
Yeah.
So our energy is like taking a U-turn and not going in the right direction. So if you are practicing conscious menstruation, it is an interesting experiment to ask your partner or your lover to maybe leave you be for a few days. A day or two so that you can do the woman's work, you know. And it was a really beautiful thing to do where women would gather together at their time of bleeding and rub each other's shoulders and, you know, treat each other with stories and things like this. And the men would be doing other things, you know. So you can see where the distortion has changed things and created shame around it. Even, for example, It's not at all, of course, just Hinduism, because it's a religion where, you know, women are considered goddesses.
So there's obviously been the advent, like, in the passage of time, there's just been patriarchy and like using the same things to just suppress women, make them seem as though—
Yeah, yeah. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you, it was a beautiful question.
Yeah, I am truly flabbergasted. Yeah, I never, I never knew any of that, but I I don't really want to be around my partner for the first 1 to 2 days, actually, unless I know I'm about to experience a lot of pain. It's almost like you want someone there to hold space. But like, generally speaking, it does feel like a spiraling down, and he's there in my energy field. I'm like, I love you, but no.
Yeah, the other piece— I know we've got to wrap up shortly— many women I work with when they start this conscious menstruation, like I myself did, you get a bit like horny around your bleeding. Like, it's, you know, it can be a very intense shamanic time to make love.
Mm-hmm.
How— and many women that I share this work with say, oh, but it eases my cramps, it actually opens me up and the flow is better, and I feel, you know, more in my body. Yeah, I feel juicy again. However, this is generally adrenaline, and what can happen is that the following month when you get to experience this again, your cramping and your headaches and your experiences might be more intense.
Yeah, and it's the best. I love my period cramps.
It's a cleanse!
It's the best time.
If a man's around, we're more likely to hold that in.
Yes.
I'm going to the toilet a lot more. I love it. I mean, that's again how— that's how our body's actually utilizing the excess estrogen.
Yeah.
So it cleanses it out through the back.
Yep, that's great. I love it.
Queen of poop, you are.
I love to talk about poop. I talk about a lot of poop in my workshop, I promise you. Oh, well, thank you.
Should we close this space?
Yeah, I'd love to all connect.
If we can just really give the girls that were able to join us live here today so much gratitude for taking the time to be with us. Yeah, let's do a little moment of togetherness. Thank you, sister. Again, just taking a moment to settle in any noises or movements that might come through as we ground into the circle. And knowing that this This work that we're doing, this wisdom that we should have learned in school, that we're picking up, we're actually going to take out, making this, I think, a vow together as women that everything that we're learning, we share. We pass this on to our daughters, our sisters, every woman in our circles.
Mm-hmm.
And know at the deep inner knowing that this doesn't belong to us. This is all of our wisdom. We're going to finish with an Om. Breathe in and breathe out.
Breathe in for Om.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. That was awesome. Yeah, thank you so much, guys. Thank you.
