Demonstration video of evyAI - 124 LinkedIn Live 2024 with Joe Apfelbaum

In this LinkedIn Live session, Joe Apfelbaum provides a comprehensive live demonstration of Evy AI, the LinkedIn AI content assistant. He begins with an overview of the marketing website, explaining navigation to the login, registration, help center, blog, affiliate program, and pricing pages. He then walks through the authentication flow, including email verification, password reset, and Google sign‑in. After logging in, Joe explores the main dashboard, detailing the New Post button, help widget, recent activities list with filtering options, saved items, rating and sharing features, and the subscription/team management interface that integrates with Stripe for billing and invites. He demonstrates the Saved Profiles section, showing how profiles can be added manually or via the Chrome extension, how to view and manage profile summaries, and how to organize profiles into custom lists. The core content creation tools are covered next: the Post Writer and Idea Generator, where users select goals, tones, personas, and GPT model versions to generate hooks, main points, calls‑to‑action, and hashtags. Joe also highlights templates, the Profile Optimizer, persona training, the learning hub, community links, and a preview of adding the Evy AI Chrome extension. Throughout, he notes upcoming features such as a unified saved‑items library and search capabilities. The demo ends with a call to action for viewers to generate ideas, write posts, and explore the platform.

Hello and welcome to another edition of LinkedIn Live. My name is Joe Apfelbaum, and today I'm going to be doing a demonstration video of Evy AI. Evy AI is your LinkedIn AI content assistant. It's here to enhance your presence on LinkedIn. We have 2 things. We have the Google Chrome extension and we have the web app. This is the website here on the website. This is the marketing website. It's hosted on WordPress. And over here, we basically just walk you through all the different elements. People can subscribe to our newsletter here. On the bottom left, we have little icons for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. If you go to the top, we have a login button and a get started button. We also have a help center. We have a blog, we have an affiliate program, and we have a pricing page. If you click on the login button, it'll take you to app.evi.ai/login. And because I'm already logged in, I'm going to log out just kind of show you how that looks. I'll log out. I'm going to go back in here. If you click on the login button, it takes you to the login page. That's app.eviai.com/login. If you click on the get started button, it takes you to app.eviai.com/register. Register with your first name, last name, email, phone number, LinkedIn account, password with all these factors here, repeat password, sign in. When you sign up, Via email, it'll give you an automatic email that tells you to verify your email. And once you verify your email, then you're in. If you log in, you have 2 ways to log in. You can log in with username and password, or you could log in with the sign-in button here. We're using Google authentication. If you want to register, you click on register. If you forgot your password, we do have a forgot password page. That's app.evi.ai.com/forgot-password. You put in your email. If your email's in the system, then you'll get an email to reset your password. All right, so let's log in to Evi AI and see all the different features. We're going to cover the web platform first, and then we're going to move on to the Google Chrome extension. So when you sign in, the first thing you'll see is your dashboard. So it's app.evi.ai.com/dashboard. There are different elements in the dashboard. So we have the new post button, which just takes you to the post writer, which is app.evi.ai. .com/post-create. The post writer allows you to be able to write posts. I'm going to get into that in just a moment, but let me finish reviewing the dashboard here. We also have a little icon here for help. When you click on this little help, a little box opens up. When you fill this box out and you hit submit, then we get a notification via Slack and via email that somebody needs help with something. When you click the little dropdown here, you have my account, subscription, and log out. This is how you log out. You saw me log out before. And in the dashboard, you also have a list of recent activities. Now, if you click on the See All Recent Activities, it takes you to app.aveai.com/recent-activities, and it loads all your recent activities. We do have 2 filter buttons, one of them Activity Type, and then Order By. Those are the 2 filter buttons. We currently don't have the ability to search through your activities, but we are going to be implementing that in the future. There is a lot of activity. Sometimes that you have here. So the activity sorted by article comment, article comment reply, comment reply, contributed article comment, which is like your top voice badge, created post, invitation note, message reply, post comment, post idea, post ideas, profile about, profile headline, profile optimizer, profile summary. And then recommendation text. So if I take a look at profile summary, for example, this is something that you do from the Google Chrome extension. These are all the summaries that I have created when I'm, when I save somebody's profile on LinkedIn. And I'll cover that when I cover the Google Chrome extension. If I want to see all the posts that I created, I could just simply check that off. I press apply and I could see all the posts that I've created on LinkedIn. All right, so that's the, the dashboard. You also have the saved items as well, where you also have the ability to check all the things that you saved related to a certain activity, or you can order by either last modified or the oldest. You see all the things that I saved, because every time you generate something, you have the ability to click on the little star here, and when you click on the star, it goes into your saved items. There isn't like a one page that shows you all your saved items, it's just the dashboard. There isn't like, you know, with recent activity, you can click all and then you do /recent-activities. With save all, we don't have that. We're eventually going to have a library where you see all your saved items, but right now it's just on the homepage, on the dashboard. If you click on rate us, you can leave us a rating from 1 star to 5 stars. If you leave us a 5-star rating, we take you to the Google Chrome Store and we ask you to leave us a 5-star review. Okay, and if you want to share with a friend, we have a share with a friend page that allows you to share it on LinkedIn. Click on share on LinkedIn, it opens up a LinkedIn post that you can kind of share it straight. Same thing with Twitter. When you click on share on Twitter, I could just post it right to my account just like that. You can share via email, it opens up your favorite app. It's like a mail to. You can share via Facebook. Opens up your Facebook and just creates a post just like that. I'm going to share it on Facebook, show you what it looks like. Okay, I just shared it. We can probably improve that share button, the image, the social image share button. All right, so that's the, the dashboard. Let's look at the subscription page. And subscription page, you have 3 tabs. You have Settings, Subscription, and Team. If you click on Subscription, which is the default page it goes to, It shows you the current price. You can modify pricing by pressing— clicking modify subscription. It takes you to Stripe. You can also change how many team users you have by clicking the up and down arrow here. And if you want to open up the billing portal, this also takes you to Stripe. You click on open up billing portal. If you want to add team members, you go to /teams here within subscription, and you can add as many team members. I have 8 available that I can add, but I only added 3 here, as you can see. But you can add as many as you like. You can change the name of your team here. So you could change the name of your team, and you could also invite members here. So if you want to invite members, you put in someone's email, you press enter, it'll load their email. So for example, tammy@evergreen.com, I press enter, and that's when it kind of gets live. And then you press send invite, and she gets an invite, and it'll say pending invite over here. And then once she accepts, it'll enter her name here. But when it's pending, it only has her email address. It says pending. If you click on settings over here, that's where you can change your profile first name, your last name. You currently cannot change your email, but we're gonna enable that functionality in the future. And then LinkedIn account, Twitter account, and then you can send your— change your password, or you can delete your account over here. All right, let's go back to the homepage here. So we covered the homepage, we covered the subscription page. If you click on saved profiles, we have the ability to see all your saved profiles. You have 2 ways to save profiles. You can either do it from the Chrome extension. I'm going to cover that in a few minutes, or you can do it from the backend by clicking on add saved profile. You put in a LinkedIn URL, first and last name, you press save profile, and it saves the profile here. The purpose of the saved profiles is to allow you to be able to see people that recently posted on LinkedIn by clicking on see recent activity. It takes you to their recent activity here on LinkedIn. And then if you want to leave a comment on their post, you can easily just click comment and leave a comment on their post. In this case, I believe I already left a comment. You can see I left a comment over here. So I don't need to leave another comment. If I go to anybody's profile, I can see if they're already saved because it says saved profile instead of saying save profile. When I click on the dropdown, I can click on summarize profile. And when it writes the summary, So in the save profile right now, there is no summary button here. You see, there's no view summary, but because I created the summary, when I refresh this page now and I click the little 3 dots, it's going to show the summary on her profile. So I click on the 3 dots. Now it's going to say show profile summary, and it takes me to app.eveai.com/command-details, and then it'll show me the summary, the summary overview, which with the actual summary ID. Okay, so that shows me the summary. I can also copy the profile URL. I could manage the profile list, so I can determine what lists she's in. I can add her and remove her to lists, you see? And then I could also delete the profile if I want to get rid of it. She's currently in a list called Networking, so if I click on Networking, it'll show me all the other people that are in the Networking list. And if I want to see if they recently posted, I just click on see recent activity. It'll load the recent activity on LinkedIn. And then I can go ahead and leave a comment on their post just like that using Evy AI. And I'm going to get into the Chrome extension in more details, but the purpose of saving profiles is to allow you to quickly leave comments on people's posts. So you can add a new profile here, or you can add a new profile from the Chrome extension. Now you can also manage your lists. If you go to the list manager, it's app.eveai.com/lists. Here you can add a new list, put in the name of the list over here. So maybe Inc. 5000, whatever. And then you press save and the list shows up here. And then you can add people to lists. You can also order by A to Z or Z to A or last modified. Or you can search up a list like EO. You see anything that has the thing EO in it will show up. You could also show a certain amount per page, 25, 50, 10. If you go back to saved profiles, you could do the same thing. You could show a certain amount per page, 25, 50. Scroll down, I press next, it'll load the next 50. See, these are the 50 people. If I want to see their profile, I just click on See Recent Activity, and it shows me all their recent activity. If I want to copy a link to their profile, I click the 3 dots, I click on Copy Profile URL, and then when I paste their profile URL, it goes straight to their profile. If I want to be able to see the summary, if there's a summary, not every profile has a summary, but if there's a summary, I click on Show Summary, and it shows me the summary. And I can copy the summary or I can delete the summary. Okay, so that's what saved profiles look like. And you can also search for saved profiles. For example, I'm gonna search for Liz. I can find all the Lizes that are related to this. All right. And the same thing, you can select a list here. I showed you that. You can search through lists over here as well. You can also order by last modified A to Z. And so on. Okay, moving on. Next, Post Writer. Post Writer allows you to be able to write posts. So you have goals, you have all these different options for goals. So for example, seeking advice. You have tones. For example, you have all these different tones like professional, sarcastic, sincere, visionary, whimsical. So I'll do inspirational. And then personas. These personas are pulled from here. I can select the persona to tell Evie AI who I am, to tell Evie AI who I am, just like that. If I click idea generator, you'll be able to see the idea generator. You can put in a topic here. Um, let's see. Someone's messaging me. Okay. Let's go back here. So we're in the Post Writer, Idea Generator. So the Post Writer and the Idea Generator are kind of connected because if you're not sure what to post about, then you can always go to the Idea Generator to come up with an idea. So for example, if I want to come up with an idea, I pick a persona and then I put in whatever I want an idea about. So for example, I'm going to do networking or prospecting. I hit generate ideas and it'll generate 4 ideas. You see that it generated 4 ideas right here. Uh, hey Naveed, how are you? Hey, Joe, I apologize. I actually miscalculated the conversion of time from USD to PKT. No problem. No problem. Once you finish clicking Idea Generator, you picked your topic, you press Generate Posts, and within a few seconds you'll have a post. Um, Naveed, I'm going to share my screen in just a moment. Every post includes a hook, main points, call to action, and hashtags. If I want to copy the post, I can copy it, use LinkedIn. I could change the language here. I can change from GPT-4 to GPT-0 to GPT-4. I can save it here. Remember, it goes into the dashboard. And then if I want to clear this out, I can click on new post and it'll take me back to the post writer. So that's how the post writer and the idea generator kind of work together. Then we have templates that allow you to save templates. We have Profile Optimizer that allows you to optimize your profile. Just put information about your profile here and you hit generate. We have personas, which allow you to train a persona so that you could learn how to use the personas. We have a learning hub with quick links. We have a community that you can join. We have a demonstration video here. And if you want to add the Evvii Chrome extension, you click on add Evvii to Chrome and you can easily add Evvii to Chrome. We're going to do a different video that covers the full Chrome extension because I need to talk to my developer now. But I just want to take a moment to thank you for watching this video, this demonstration video of the backend. Go ahead, generate some ideas, write some posts, optimize your personas, use the templates and enjoy. I'll see you on the next video.
