So, we're recording this video live, and we have Fred Johnson from EO Utah. He's sitting in the middle of this avalanche of snow. Fred, tell the EO members what the heck is going on right now.
You know what? We are just so blessed. We just got nearly a foot of snow, and it's supposed to like snow for like the next 3 days. Snow conditions are fabulous, and we're stoked. Winter is awesome.
So tell us what event EO Utah is putting on at the end of January that's like so mind-blowing that anyone that's into films at all needs to go to.
You know, thanks for asking. So EO Utah is doing what we have dubbed the EO Utah Independent Film Experience, and what we're doing is we're partnering with the Sundance event. We're gonna go in, we actually have 2 exclusive films That we've set up with the Sundance Institute to where only EO and only EO members will be in the theater to talk to the directors and get background and actors and so forth, see the film, get photo ops, etc. It's going to be off the chain.
So if you're an EO member and you want to go to this event, why can't they just go themselves? What's the difference between signing up through EO to go to the Sundance? Are they just getting a ticket any year?
Well, great question. So yes, you can show up in Park City and you can just purchase tickets, but you can't control the quality of film that you see. And then you're gonna go into a great big huge theater with 300 or 400 other people. You'll have to queue up to get a decent seat in the theater hours before, and then afterwards you won't have the same access. In other words, there'll be 300 people asking questions. Not just a tight-knit little group from EO.
So this is like a first-class experience where somebody's gonna go and curate the films so you know they're going to be top, top quality. You're not gonna have to kind of fish. Somebody already fished and did all the work for you. Is that essentially what it is?
That's right. You know what, we built a great relationship with the Sundance Institute, and we are gonna have what To me is an unprecedented event. It's so cool that we own these 2 films. We get to walk in and see them with EO members and only EO members. And, you know, have an exclusive access to the event like you'd never be able to get any other way. We're going to see other films where we'll queue up and see it with the public. However, these 2 are super special and we've leveraged many relationships and spent a boatload of money to make it happen.
So if you're watching this and you love independent films, or you love films in general, or you want to support that community, get your forum mates, get your team members, get on EO Access, and sign up for this event.
Yeah, it'll be January 27th through the 30th— Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All the parties, all of the, you know, content and film are all included. We're staying at the legendary Chateau up in Deer Valley. Incredible, incredible facility. The snow— hey, snow's free. You get to show up, you're going to enjoy it.
All right, so if you ever haven't seen snow before, if you're from like California or somewhere, or somewhere in Mexico, or somewhere where it's warm and you want to experience the ultimate powder, the ultimate snow, this is the place.
The greatest snow on earth, Joe.
The greatest snow on earth, and it tastes good.
It does, it does. A little salty, you know.
All right everyone, thanks for watching, and Fred, thanks for promoting this, and hopefully people will come and get value, and we'll make another video to see how it was after.
Okay, thanks Joe, appreciate it.
Peace out everyone.
