How to get clients on Linkedin with evyAI

In this live YouTube demo, Joe Apfelbaum walks participants through Evy AI, a Chrome extension and web app designed to automate and enhance LinkedIn sales activities. He shows how the tool can pull profile data from hundreds of sources, generate research notes, and instantly create outreach content—including personalized messages, comments, posts, and AI‑generated images—using a choice of LLMs (Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude). The demo covers integration with GoHighLevel CRM, a 280 million‑record prospect database, and one‑click syncing of contacts, emails, and phone numbers. Joe explains the two subscription tiers: Premium ($29 / mo) for content creation and image generation, and Pro ($297 / mo or $5 k / yr with $10 k training) which adds AI research, notes, massive contact access, and daily Zoom support. He shares ROI claims (users earning $100 k+ in six months), community size (1,700+ members), and provides practical workflow tips for handling dual buyer personas, posting cadence, and engagement strategy. The session ends with a live sign‑up, illustrating the sales close process.

Evy AI is a sales assistant that will enhance your online presence. It's a Chrome extension and a web app that supports your sales activities. The Chrome extension sits on the side like this, and you could look at people's profiles. So I click on anyone's profile over here, like, you know, Stephen Green. I could open it up. I could see all of his recent posts by clicking on a button. I see that he hasn't posted in a year. You see that? I could just ignore it. I can close it. I can close the extension and just use the web app if I want. And the web app also gives me the ability to see all my connections and all my people right over here. You see, these are all the people that I saved.
I see it.
I can open up anybody's profile. I can look up the notes that I left about them. If I don't have any notes, I can have artificial intelligence do the research on them. So I just click a button and then AI goes ahead and does the research. I click another button, I can deploy another AI. And what this does is it'll go ahead and look up this person in hundreds of different websites and pull together information about their summary, information about their target market, information about the key services that they provide. Often it'll also tell me how they help clients. It'll gimme basic contact information about them, social profiles, notable achievements, everything that you would need in order to really understand who this person is in a meaningful way. Yeah.
Yep.
And then once I have this information front and center, then all I gotta do is copy it and then I can add it as a note for later here. See, I just added that as a note for later. Um, I could also look up what Grok says. Grok usually finds even more information about the person. You see that? Personal website, professional summary, target audience, contact information, finds his YouTube, his conversation starters, whatever. This looked at 195 websites in 30 seconds. And then I go here, add it as a note. And then what I can do is I can click on insights and then I can go ahead and generate insights based on all those notes. So I do my research, which takes me about a minute or 2 minutes. And then based on that, I spent 30 seconds writing an intro, a summary, an email draft, conversation starters, basically everything I need to be successful with reaching out to this person in a meaningful way.
Okay. Fair enough.
And the power of this is that I'm able to generate content to be able to reach out to this guy with one click of a button.
So, fair enough. I mean, I do a similar process and use Claude, and Claude's doing a pretty good job. This looks like it's, it's a very good research tool. How does the writing work?
The writing works like this. So right now I'm just going to tag him as somebody that came to an event that I just went to, Speakeasy San Diego 2016. So let's say for example I want to leave a comment on his posts. So I open up Quick Link, it launches all of his recent posts, and then I go ahead and give it a like, and then I'm able to leave a comment on his recent post. I see he posted a month ago. Do you see I just left him a comment?
I do.
I see he posted over here. I just left him another comment. I see he posted over here.
And you're not writing this. You AI is writing it.
Yeah. Does it look like I sat down and wrote all this?
It does not.
Webinars flip the sales game when prospects lean in willingly. Trust builds fast. I've seen how the my journey boom. How do you see it transforming sales? You see that?
Yeah.
So he stopped posting about a month ago.
Okay.
I can have every AI just drop comment after comment after comment on all his posts just like that. It's really nice to be able to put all this together. Oh, look at that. He had Mike Filsaime there. I go in here, I click on this, writes the post, writes the comment, and that's it. It's the same thing with writing posts. I can go to my profile, push a button, comment, and then I have my profile over here. And you see this post here? This post was written by Evie AI. You see, created this image over here of me holding a sign.
Yeah.
Ayan said, I've seen tools like Evii help clients craft authentic content quickly. I'm gonna say boom. I'm gonna say thank you. Um, so I have all these people that are, that are commenting on my content. Because I'm constantly posting content online. And this all, this all came from a prompt. You want to see where the image is? You see on the right over here, this is the image. I just take the image from Evie AI and push it into LinkedIn.
And so you're saying the software came up with the image?
Yeah, the software came up with the image based on what the post was.
Oh, really? So you wrote the words and it came up with the image subsequently?
I didn't write the words. The software also wrote the words.
Okay.
The software wrote the words and the software wrote the image.
What's the AI behind this?
We use all the AIs. We use, you can choose which one you want. You could use Gemini, you could use ChatGPT, you could use Grok, you could use Claude, you could use, basically we have, we use our own API keys and you get access to all the AIs.
Okay.
So this works with Claude. All right. I, I've been using Claude a little more.
Yeah.
Recently.
But it's all integrated into LinkedIn. So if you wanted to use Claude manually, you could use Claude manually, but then you would have to like log into Claude and copy and paste the content from LinkedIn to Claude and write a prompt and da da da and take it back. This, everything is integrated here. Everything is stored and you can't save profiles into Claude. You could save profiles into Evie AI. You know, you can't save people's LinkedIn profiles and have it organized with all their contact information like this, you see?
Yeah.
And then I have a one-push, one-button push to GoHighLevel. You click a button and it goes right into GoHighLevel just like that.
So is GoHighLevel, uh, uh, enabled as a CRM then? Is that—
Yeah, yeah. If you have GoHighLevel as a CRM, we push it and all the contact data that And we have, we have access to, um, if you click on network over here and you click on find prospects, we have access to 280 million email addresses and phone numbers. So what's the title of the person you want to reach? CIO?
Yeah. Okay.
I'm going to press search and we'll look through our records here. And within 30 seconds, we'll pull up 1.6 mil— 1.6 million CIOs globally.
Yeah.
And you get instant access to all their emails, their cell phone numbers, everything about them. If you want to look at everyone that works in a particular company, you can click on the name of the company and it'll pull up all the people that work at the company. You see, I just clicked on the name of the company. You just pulled up all the people that work at that company.
Right.
It's a very big company. And then you could, you could do AI research on any of these people. So let's say I wanted to Google Rachel, Rachel Danis. I press this button. It pulls up all her information that it's able to find online about her. You see, if I want to do a ChatGPT search or a Perplexity search on this person, I just click a button. It finds everything there is to know about this person if it, if it's able to find that person online. In that case, it can't, but I could do the same thing with Grok or with you.com or with any of these tools. And that's the pro version of Evie AI.
Okay.
With the pro version, you can access all that. Plus we have a community. Of 1,700+ people. You see 1,700 people. And we just had a party today, our 8th posting party. 650— 463 people commented on it.
Nice.
So these are people that are liking and commenting on each other's content. For example, Evan, he's having an event tomorrow at 5 PM. He has 25 likes and 33 comments from the people, including from me, but he has people commenting And liking on his posts and supporting each other.
Nice.
Yeah. Yeah.
So, uh, if I've targeted, you know, maybe 50 top companies, I can prospect pretty— I can keep all the records in here and GoHighLevel. So, um, does it create contacts within GoHighLevel then? Is that what you're saying? And I can—
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. It creates contacts within GoHighLevel.
Okay.
So I could send emails as well as LinkedIn InMails.
Yeah, you could send emails, you can send InMails, you can do whatever, whatever it is that you want. So for example, this guy Steve, if I'm not connected with Steve, I just click on this button right over here. I see I have a pending connection request, but I would just press connect and Evy AI would write the note to connect with him.
Gotcha. Um, okay. Uh, all right, fair enough. And do, uh, is it possible to link in like a Gmail or Outlook account to this?
Uh, that's coming soon. Yes, that'll be very possible. Right now it's you link it to GoHighLevel and from GoHighLevel you email, but we're going to connect to Gmail and Outlook to this so you could email directly from this.
Yeah, so I have GoHighLevel right now as well. Okay. Yeah, so I think it sounds like this would help in organization and maybe help me contact more people and have a record to keep a record of what I've said, right?
Yes, exactly.
So how do you— could you give me an example of a company or a person that you've had a record in multiple contacts with? And you can see what communications you've sent, et cetera.
Yeah, you could. I have plenty of people that we've had, I've had multiple connections with and multiple relationships. Like for example, this guy over here, I sent him a message, he sent me a message, I sent him a message back, and all his contact information is stored inside Evy AI. So if I click on this profile over here, Evy AI will know that I'm looking at his profile and it'll show me his cell phone number, his email address, everything about him. And then I could push it. He's pushed into GoHighLevel, and I even texted him and called him today, and we had a beautiful, beautiful exchange outside of LinkedIn because I have his cell phone number here. I was able to WhatsApp him and we were able to connect.
And so within GoHighLevel, I'd be able to access those conversations?
Yes.
Um, do I need— so let's see here. Um, How do I need anything else like a, uh, an app in GoHighLevel to use this? In other words—
No, this has the API. This just syncs with the API. So right now I just, I just push a button and boom, it syncs.
Okay, very good. So what's the difference between, uh, the Pro version and the $99 version?
Um, the pro— between the pro— between the 20— the premium and pro. Premium gives you, uh, comments, messages, it gives you posts, it gives you image generation. So it's basically a content creator. And then the pro version gives you access to much, much more. It gives you access to AI research, it gives you access to 280 million records, it gives you access to Notes, the ability to take notes and so many other amazing technology. And, and we meet you twice every day, twice a day, um, to help you on Zoom to make sure that you're using the Pro version properly. And we have a special community of people that support each other in Pro and so on. We have so much more.
Yeah. Okay. Um, and the investment, uh, is either annually or monthly. Is that right?
Yes, it's either annually or monthly.
Can you tell me what that would be?
So for Pro, it's $297 a month, annual, and annually it's $5K, and it includes a $10,000 training program. And it includes, if you buy the $5K version, it gives you a bunch of extra licenses and a bunch of extra access and, you know, over $50,000 worth of bonuses. And then the premium version is $29 a month.
Okay.
Do you have any enough, like, people who have benefited from this? Do you have any ROI analysis on what?
Yeah, yeah, we have plenty of people that have generated over $100,000 in profit in their business as a result of using Evie AI.
Within what timeframe? A year?
Within 6 months. And you could see many of them writing on my LinkedIn profile. I have 527 written testimonials on my profile. So if you go there, you'll be able— and we have also video testimonials of people talking about it.
Okay.
But you can see what people are saying over here. See all the incredible things that people are saying about our technology.
All right. I'll study that. I'll study those things, Joe. Very good. Yeah, it looks like it's very useful and very, uh, intelligent. Tell me more about that software that you're saying it's $10,000, or is it, is it a training course on LinkedIn?
It's a training course on how to leverage LinkedIn. Yeah. And it includes frameworks, checklists, cheat sheets, scripts. It includes all that stuff. Everything you need to be successful on LinkedIn.
Okay.
And how long has this product been out, Joe?
3 years.
Okay. Um, did you, uh, study what Brynn Tillman released last year? She had some software. I think she's pulled it off the market now. It was $200 a month. Yeah, I would— I was part of her program. I, I don't know, I had it, I used it between half a year and a year, but I stopped using it because I, uh, I was You know, my enterprise software career would have loved using it, but the focus of my business wasn't—
Why did she stop? Why did she pull it off the market?
I think the price point and getting enough users.
It wasn't worth it for her?
I think so. Yeah. So she had a fair number of users. I was one of them, but she had She talked to me about maybe doing— going after helping her sell some of that stuff, and I decided it wasn't probably going to be profitable enough to do.
So yeah, we've done pretty well with our clients. People have been with us for a really long time and they're very happy. We have a very happy community of people that are using it regularly. And, you know, the fact that we have 280 million records with emails and phone numbers, Is a massive value add for someone.
Okay.
And the fact that we have training and support and we meet everybody twice a day and we have so many raving fans, our community members are the ones that are also spending time, you know, running events.
What type of events?
Networking events within our community, supporting each other.
Okay. Let me see if I can find the questions that I, I sent you here.
I had them all answered right here.
Oh, you do? Okay. Well, I'll come back to the meeting. Sorry about that.
Oh, you asked a dual vertical profile. How do you handle 2 distinct buyers in one profile? The answer is you don't try to serve both verticals in one profile simultaneously. You prioritize a primary vertical on the profile itself. And then use Evvii AI's custom personas to handle the voice switching and the content layer. Based on your situation where Tuesday's Sudi's meeting could trigger a full profile rebuild towards Cortex Manufacturing, I recommend holding the profile optimization until after the call.
Yeah.
Once you have clarity, the right move is to build a profile entirely around manufacturing buyer with the headline, about section, and featured content all in that world. Your LinkedIn marketing plan actually spells this out. Helping discrete manufacturers find and eliminate a margin leak between detection and corrective action.
Thank you for doing all that reading, Joe. Appreciate your extra work there. That's very well done. Nice. Thank you.
Then in Evie AI, you build 2 trained personas, one for Cortex manufacturing buyer and one for smart voice home services. You switch personas consciously drafting any posts or comments or messages. And that's the friction point that Evie AI solves. Not 2 profiles, but 2 trained voices inside one workflow.
Very good. Thank you.
And then your question is the fastest path from, from zero, uh, from like no engagement to meaningful engagement. The, your audit score and engagement rate are content strategy problem. You're currently diagnosing it. You're correctly diagnosing it. The fastest single lever for manufacturing executives is the carousel format. Your own LinkedIn plan cites 6.6% average engagement for carousels. That's the highest performing format on the platform. That's exactly right for your audience. Data-dense, skimmable, visual. A CFO doesn't read a 600-word post. They're swiping through 7 slides. The second layer is cadency over a 6-week minimum. Your LinkedIn algorithm takes 40 to 30 to 45 days to recalibrate your account. That shifts towards content strategy. Post 3 times a week substantively for 6 weeks straight. That's when you start seeing engagement curve more. EVI helps with the most execution letter, giving you the first draft on Monday in the first inside post. Friday's a POV in minutes, so the blank page friction doesn't keep— doesn't become a skipped posting day.
Okay. And then it'll help me, it'll help me with a posting strategy for manufacturing if, if I can get there. Okay.
And then the about section, serving 2 audiences without being generic. Every— I can draft a version and A genuinely dual audience about section almost always reads too generic to both. Better structure is a primary audience first and a secondary audience second.
Which is what I've done. I've done smart voice first and manufacturing second, but I'm going to switch them around if the meeting goes well tomorrow.
And then Q4, your 4th question is the right workload split into 8 hours a week, given your SYKM Show me you know me.
Sorry. Yeah. Show me you know me.
Show me you know me model. Um, here's how I'd carve it out. Number 1 is delegate to every AI post, posting drafts, first draft only. Comment generation, 15-minute engagement blocks, about section headline variants, follow-up message scaffolds. And then keep manual all the research, earnings transcript reading, the trade publication deep dives. The career history hooks. This is a replaceable part of your outreach. No tool automates this without degrading it.
Yeah.
Also keep manually a final audit for every post that goes live. Your content has to carry proprietary data. AVI won't know it unless you brief it or train it. Rough allocation on 8 hours, 3 hours of this research and then outreach drafting stays manual, 2 hours of content creation. But Evvy AI will make it into like 5 minutes, you know? And then 1.5 hours of daily engagement, Evvy AI will turn that into 15 minutes. So you'll be able to save a lot of time with Evvy AI.
Okay.
And then Q5, what do the pro-tier AI agents actually do? Well, straight answer, the agents are LinkedIn profile enrichment and relationship intelligence tools. They analyze profiles, share connections, identify engagement history, and they help you understand a prospect's background faster. They're not earnings or transcript readers. For your model specifically, the agents will not replace manual research process. They will accelerate the LinkedIn native layer of understanding it, understanding the person's career trajectory, their recent history, the network overlap. We could create special prompts for you and you can save them as templates for doing the earnings transcripts and all that stuff.
Okay.
But my honest recommendation, start with Premium if you can't afford Pro because it's so inexpensive. Start using it to at least start writing content and messages and then move to Pro within 60 days.
Does, uh, if I start there, um, does that have integration with GoHighLevel as well?
Yes. Yes, they both do.
Okay. And so I can— will it help me store my communications with them and I can sort of see what I've done with this person over time?
You'll be able to see what you've done if you leave notes with what you've done. And notes are included in the Pro version of Evie AI. So you're not going to be able to see what you've done with this person over time if you're just using the Premium version.
Can you hold just a second, Joe?
Yeah.
Hey, James, how you doing, sir? Yeah, I don't know, you're at my time zone, but, um, something just popped in my head that I forgot to mention to you.
So we operate out of Illinois too. Okay. Yeah, yeah, Joe will help you find people's emails, phone numbers, and do AI research on LinkedIn. Now you can connect like a champ. Learn everything about everyone. Okay, I got a lane, no more guessing. In the rain, one clean search, doors swing wide, names on deck, deals on time. Let me show you. Hands up, lean in, better move, better.
Nice.
Watch the room. Yep. Okay. Okay.
Yeah, I think I've seen roughly 20 to 30 come through over the last several days for you. We're using a newer list. The older lists, obviously, people have already moved forward with another solution. Uh, a newer list is what we need, James. If we can keep it to 30 to 60 days, you're going to get a better result.
Okay. Okay.
Okay. By the way, are we still meeting at 2 o'clock Wednesday? Because I've got Chris and I are pretty prepared to show you some good ideas. I think that you'll All right. Sorry, Joe. I had to take it.
No problem.
No problem. So, uh, so what do you want to— what do you think the next steps are?
Well, uh, Whittle, I, I do want to use it minimally, the, the lowest level, uh, EVAI, because I think I can use I think I'll— my conversation with Sudi tomorrow will inform what I'm able to do or how soon I can able to do the higher version.
So, I just put the link for the $29 version in the chat. Can you go ahead and share? Click on that right now and see if it says $29 a month. We're going to throw in LinkedIn 101 if you don't know the basics of LinkedIn. It's a training session.
Oh, I do. I've used LinkedIn and I've studied LinkedIn quite a bit.
Amazing.
I'm not a starter.
Amazing. So go ahead and click on that premium monthly thing and put in your email and go ahead and claim the deal.
So what's the deal with the big one that you said there's a special going on right now?
There's a special going on, but it'll probably be expired by the time you Um, by the time you sign up to it once you're doing it. But when you're ready to sign up to the bigger one, I'll get— I'll make you a special deal. Okay, you're not ready for that, so just get this one now and then we will—
I wonder, it's, it's okay, it's got my, uh, add a new payment type, I guess. Uh, yeah, it must be fun for you to sell this.
Oh, it's so much fun. It's so much fun. And I love I love helping people and making a difference for them, making their life so much easier. It's very exciting for me that I can do that. You know, like I've—
Have you been a LinkedIn— have you followed LinkedIn? Have you studied LinkedIn?
Yeah, I've been for 10 years. I've been teaching LinkedIn. I've been teaching many, many people how to use LinkedIn for the past 10 years.
Okay.
So yeah, 100%.
Yeah, Brynn and I, I've taken some of her courses and I've used it diligently in my enterprise software business, but I've let it go because I retired 2 years ago and I've begun using it on a hobby level again. Manufacturing would be the sweet spot for it.
Nice. Nice.
I like that. But there's no, uh, so when you say classes, there's no community at this, uh, low level, right?
We do offer, we do offer something like, for example, tomorrow we have a premium training. So we offer live, a live training tomorrow.
Yeah.
Um, and we do offer some free community options for people that are people that want the premium version, but the deeper community happens on the pro level.
Yeah, I'm not big on community. I like to just work my ass off and achieve stuff.
Amazing.
All right, so, uh, I clicked in. You say that— use that word a lot. I, I think that's, it's probably a good strategy for you.
Which one?
Amazing.
Amazing. Yeah, amazing is a great strategy. It's, it's, uh, you know, when I was younger, I used to write— I used to create mazes. And so I used to always say amazing.
So I, uh, I signed up for this. Will I get via email subscription?
Well, right now, right now, go to, go to evyai.com/success and we'll onboard you right now with ION. Go to evyai.com/success. It'll take you to another Zoom room and I'll see you there.
Oh, okay. Thank you.
Thank you. I'll see you there. evviai.com/success.
I got it.
All right. See you there.
Bye.
And that is how you close a deal. Boom. Another deal closed. Another deal, another meal, another Happy Meal. Pretty cool, right? The client signed up.
Hello. Joe said he just signed up.
I know, I saw. He signed up to premium monthly.
Okay.
Thank you.
Um, can you chat?
Yeah, let me get off LinkedIn Live. All right, thank you very much everybody for joining us, and we'll see you on the next session. Don't forget to go
