How to get engagement on your CONTENT online

In this live, interactive session hosted by Speaker A and featuring Joe Apfelbaum, Annette Naif, Paige, Carlos Garrido and others, the participants demonstrate and discuss a suite of tools and tactics for boosting online engagement, especially on LinkedIn. The conversation begins with promotion of the Influencer Summit 2025, then moves to a live screen‑share of the marketing automation platform unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com and the AI‑powered assistant Evie AI. They showcase a "bulk‑link opener" that automatically cycles through a list of URLs, pausing for a set interval, and integrates Claude‑generated landing pages that auto‑play linked content. The group explains how to use templates within Evie AI for recurring messages, prompts, connection notes, and resource links, and how to store Loom videos for quick sharing. They discuss "posting parties" where participants collectively like and comment on each other's posts, and how this drives visibility and top‑of‑mind presence. Revenue‑generation ideas are explored, including ticket sales for networking improv events, leveraging event pages on Eventbrite, and using AI‑drafted outreach to convert connections into clients. Throughout, they share personal anecdotes about past events, cruises, and relationship building, emphasizing efficiency, the importance of short, focused daily AI‑tool sessions, and the community aspect of sharing templates. The session ends with plans for future template‑creation parties, follow‑up calls, and encouragement to adopt these AI‑driven workflows for scalable social‑media engagement.
Chapters
1, 2, 3. You want engagement? Come to the Influencer Summit 2025.
Look at that.
Oh, there's another one here.
Look, influencersummit2025.com. influencersummit2025.com. Amazing. So you want engagement? What are you gonna do? Are you gonna come to the summit?
Hmm?
Or are you not gonna come to the summit? I'm eating these incredible apples. I have a monitor set up right up there, so when I look up like that, I'm actually looking at myself. When I look here, I'm looking at you. Amazing, amazing sauce. I want to show you my screen. I'm going to share my screen with you right now. Um, I want to share with you how I update a landing page, and then I'm going to talk about getting engagement online. All right, you ready?
Today at 4 PM, we're doing a template generation party.
I hope you can join. All right, let's see what's going on here. Oh, Hal Elrod liked my post! Oh my goodness, I love Hal Elrod.
Miss him.
I haven't spoken to him in a million years.
Let me know if you're watching this live here.
If you're watching me live today, somebody just commented. Oh, she's part of BNI. Good to know. All right, somebody mentioned me in a comment here.
Okay, so let me share my— let me share my screen.
I'm gonna go up here, hit share. And I want to show you something cool. I'm going to first open up Evy AI, evyai.com.
I want to share my screen and show you some pretty—
something pretty fantastic. I'm just going to do entire screen. I'm going to click on this screen here and hit share.
All right, boom!
Now you should see my screen and you should see me on the bottom right. If you can see me, say I see you.
Also like the post. Leave a comment.
Let me know that you exist and that I exist because I don't even know that I exist.
Okay, so I log into this website called unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com. All right, so this is a tool I'm going to be using, unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com. I'm actually going to scroll up. Oh, look at that. I have chats.
Frank.
Frank, what's going on, Frank? This website, unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com, is our marketing automation tool that allows you—
let me see if I can— you know, there's no way for me to auto-scroll down. Pain in the ass. Allows you to do all these things. So you can do all these things at unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com.
Let me see if I could change the scroll down thing.
I'm gonna scroll up to the top and let's see if I can change the scroll captions. Oop, ticker. I'm gonna add a ticker. www.unlimiteddigitalmarketingmarketing.com. Boom. Let's see, I'm gonna make that one show.
Oh, we made it show! Now it says Unlimited Digital Marketing on the bottom.
I'm gonna add one for Heavy AI too. Www.heavyai.com.
So now I can swap it. Oh, I like it. heavyai.com, unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com, influencersummit.com, influencersummit2025.com.
Okay, so we have them all. So the one I'm talking about right now is called unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com. So if you want like unlimited landing pages, unlimited emails Unlimited automations. This is the tool that I'm using, unlimiteddigitalmarketing.com, so you can see what I'm doing. So I'm going to go in here and I'm going to go to my LinkedIn, uh, is it LinkedIn brainstorming? I have 24 different landing pages in there and I'm going to go to the last one called the LinkedIn bulk link, the Evie AI bulk link opener. I'm getting a call from a loving connection. Hey Paige, I am on LinkedIn Live right now, but I picked up the phone because you called. How are you?
Yeah, yeah, after I'm done with my live, I'll call you up, but you can watch my live if you want. I'm showing how I'm updating a landing page in real time. I'm both on Facebook Live, LinkedIn Live. Um, how many people are watching, guys?
If you're watching, leave me a comment, say you're watching, because Paige wants to know how many people are watching. At least Frank is watching, he said hello before.
Hey Frank, what's up?
She says, hey Frank, what's up? Yes, I'm showing them how I'm editing a landing page. And yeah, I'm gonna get some code from Claude.
I had Claude design an entire landing page where you can just copy a bunch of links into the landing page, and then it automatically starts playing those links as if it's like a slideshow.
And then you can decide how many minutes you want.
I'm gonna put you on speaker.
Oh.
You could decide how many seconds you want to wait between each Between each link. How cool is that?
Wow, I, I'm gonna need to see this in real time to really understand how it works, but it sounds so interesting.
Well, let's say you have a— let's say you have a list of 20 websites of people that you want to review. Yeah, and you want to review those 20 websites. How do you review those 20 websites quickly? You have to click on each one. It's a pain. What if you didn't have to click on each one? What if they can just play for you?
Like a video?
Yeah, like they would pop up one at a time. You decide, okay, you could just say open it one at a time, and then it just opens them one at a time. Every 30 seconds, open up another one so I have a chance to review it, but I'm not gonna— I'm not gonna get lost in the rabbit hole of your website. I'm gonna give you 30 seconds of time. Or let's say you have a list of profiles, you have 20 profiles for people that are coming to your networking event, and you want to review each one for 1 minute.
Yeah.
So you just upload all the profiles to the tool and then it automatically will give you 1 minute for each profile and you won't get distracted. I get distracted sometimes and then I'll spend 10 minutes on one person's profile, especially if they're pretty, and I'll just get lost. I'll just get lost.
Yeah, you go down a rabbit hole. No time for rabbit holes.
No time for rabbit holes. No time for rabbit holes. Um, so yeah, so, so I just put this together and boom, there you go. So you want to do, you want to do an improv networking thing together?
Yes!
I'm excited about doing an improv. Guys, if you're watching this live and you want to come to a networking improv event with me and Paige, please let me know.
I would love to.
We'll talk about, we'll set a date. We'll talk about setting a date.
Okay, do you know around what date you would want?
Um, I would love to do it before the end of February.
Before the end of February.
Okay. Yeah, let's try.
Let's figure out. Okay, that's—
that works for me. I can, I can do it. You know, we have the Influencer Summit on Wednesday, right? We have the LinkedIn Influencer Summit on Wednesday.
Yes. We have lots and lots and lots of influencers that are going to be speaking about how to leverage LinkedIn.
That's so cool.
Yeah, I'm particularly excited for that. You want to know why?
Why?
Because we're going to have 1,000 people there.
Watching?
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
That's incredible.
That's massive.
So this morning I had a posting party. You know what a posting party is?
Yeah.
A posting—
I'm going to host one soon.
Okay, good, good. If you want to host one and you want me to bring a crowd, you want to rent a crowd? I'm happy to help. I'm happy for you to host one within the Evie AI sphere. If you want to watch the one from today, I'll upload it to YouTube and give it to you so you can watch what I did.
Okay, yeah, I would love to see.
So now, so everyone posts their posts, and now I'm having this bulk link opener I created automatically give me 60 seconds for each one, and it's doing every single one. It's opening them each up. If I want to just hit next URL, yeah, it just opened up the next one automatically just now. I clicked on next URL, it opened it up. Now I can close the tab if I want and click next, or I could wait till the 60 seconds are up and it'll automatically open it up. This was just created by Claude and it's already live. I'm using Evie AI to help me draft the comment on each one. So if I have, let's say, 55 people that were at the place and I want to comment on each person's post, I don't have to go and click on each person's post. I just have this Bulk Link Opener automatically open up each post and then I have Evie AI just write the comment on each one in seconds.
What a time saver.
I'm telling you, it's insane.
That's amazing.
It is insane. I am beyond—
You're like a time hacker. You hack time.
That's my goal. My goal is to hack some time.
That's so cool.
So I'm just very, very grateful that I get to do that, that I get to help people out to save— if you look at the reviews, the 5-star reviews we have for Evie AI, you'll notice that many of them are around, oh, this tool saves me so much time.
It's incredible. Yeah, you're doing amazing things.
I appreciate you saying that.
I'm sure we're live, but nobody's commenting, so I don't know if anybody's watching or not.
But I tend to just go live. That's totally fine. But I tend to just go live, and then whoever wants to tune in can tune in. A lot of people just end up watching the replay, but it doesn't really matter to me. It doesn't matter that if people are watching or not, because it's like, you know, if you're watching my live, it's like you're walking into my office.
Yeah.
And I'm having a conversation with you where I'm paying attention to our conversation, but at the same time, I'm able to easily, uh, leave comments on LinkedIn because I don't have to sit down and think about what to comment. Like, the AI will read the post, help me draft a comment, and then if I want to insert it, I can insert it.
If I want to repost it and change the tone, I could repost it and change the tone.
And everybody's watching as each post is kind of loading itself up. Each person's post that was in the posting party is automatically just loading. It's like serving the post to me, so I don't have to like even click on it to open it.
Yeah, that's really cool because it like then it frees you up for what you're like, for you to be in your power, you know, like for you to be in your magic, which is like you being present with people.
Exactly. So I could have conversations while at the same time be productive and And promote myself on LinkedIn. So another another post just loaded right now from Tom Wells. He said drowning in numbers. We throw lifelines, blah blah blah blah blah, right? And now I'm able to generate a comment and then stay top of mind with him. By the way, he referred a client to me. I referred a client to him, and it's because we're we're just being in front of each other by leaving comments on each other's posts. And now that I'm done, it's not going to automatically serve the next one in a second because I have a full minute, even though it only took me 3 seconds to leave a comment. So I can go ahead and check out your gorgeous profile. Look at you, you gorgeous human.
Oh, I, I, I gotta put my, uh, Networking One Sheet up there. That's my next step.
Yes, and make it your featured link instead of having the Breakup Addict Teaser Trail.
Oh, is that what's featured right now?
That is what's featured, yeah.
Okay, that's good to know, Joe.
Yeah, we should, we should review, and I'm gonna give you an endorsement for a skill called film production, but you should have one related to what you do.
Oh yeah, that's from my old days. That's from the old page.
We got to do like a full, we got to do like a full profile roast, and, and with you, um, we should do it live because Brittany, Brittany, the woman who, who owns a Pilates studio Is she married? Did she marry what's his name? No, she didn't. She got she got she broke up with him with with my friend. You know Brittany Crosby?
Yeah.
She was dating. She was dating a guy that I know, Chris.
Chris. Yeah.
But now he's he's with somebody else, and he moved to like Long Island or something. But it's so funny that she that she commented that she left you a profile recommendation in 2017 when you did my rap video.
Yeah, that was a long time ago. That was the days of Page Media.
Oh my God, the days of Page Media.
Yeah, now I'm doing networking improv. Look at that.
Well, you're coming full circle. Are you still in touch with all your BNI friends?
Uh, here and there.
Not consistently. Let's change that and connect with all of them on LinkedIn.
Okay.
Let's do a profile roast for you, that could be fun. Would you want to do a profile roast?
Yeah, you could roast my profile.
I can roast you and toast you and then boast you.
Yeah, don't be too mean.
And was I ever mean to you?
No.
I'm just very sweet and nice and loving and caring, sometimes to a fault, they say.
Well, I know it comes, it comes from love. I think roasting really comes from love.
Well, also it's just called roasting. I would never roast anything. I would more, I would more host it, or I would boast it. Oh, we should call it a profile boast instead of a profile roast.
Yeah, or profile roast and boast.
Oh, roast and boast. I like that.
You roast first and then you boast.
Yeah, you roast. Yeah, you first roast, then you boast. And then you can go enjoy an avocado toast.
Ayy!
I just had an avocado rose on Rose Avenue.
You what?
I just had an avocado toast on Rose Avenue. You know where Rose Avenue is?
Um, is that in Brooklyn?
Uh, actually I'm not in Brooklyn right now. I came to LA for a few days and I'm going back today.
Oh, you're close to me!
I'm not far from you. You're in San Diego, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, so not far, only a couple of hours away, but I'm enjoying the weather just like you are.
It's so nice, isn't it?
It's really, really nice here.
It's really nice.
I'm gonna sit outside and do some work today. I think I'm gonna sit on my patio when I get home.
It's definitely the way to go because the weather here is just incredible.
Yeah, it's beautiful.
Beautiful.
What's on your mind today? Doing anything exciting?
Well, let's see what is on my mind today. A few things. So out of nowhere, I just got an Instagram DM this morning from a woman who came to see Breakup Addict in Edinburgh in 2023, so 2 years ago, and she just sent me a message today about how moved she was by the show and how she had tears in her eyes the whole time and how it really helped her heal from her breakup. So I was like, I think this is a sign that maybe I should like bring that show back in some way.
Wow.
Yeah, it was like the most beautiful message. I cried as I was reading it. I was like, wow, I forgot how moving, like how impactful this show was, you know? I haven't been doing it in a while. So part of me is like sitting with what do I, you know, what do I do next?
with it.
I would love to bring it to San Diego and write a— also work on a pilot episode to pitch to Netflix and turn it into a TV show.
Yes.
So that's what I'm sitting with, with Breakup Addict. And then with Networking Improv, I have a new date on the calendar for the in-person one that I'm doing the beginning— first, I think the beginning of March. So yeah, I'm gonna like work on some content to promote that today, and that's what's on my mind.
That's very, very cool.
That's very cool. How are you gonna generate revenue today?
How am I gonna generate revenue today? Wow, Joe.
Isn't that a good question to ask?
Yeah, it is a great question. It's a confronting one. Oh, it's a really good question because I don't always put attention on that. I'm very creative, right? And so like, I have so many ideas and I'm like, I'm gonna do this and this and this, but I don't put a lot of attention on like, okay, where is the revenue here?
And that's a, that's a big thing that a lot of entrepreneurs face is that they don't really think about revenue generation. And what is it, okay, so let's talk about activities. What is a revenue generation activity?
For me, well, doing networking improv generates revenue, A, by ticket sales, but also people come and then refer me to their companies.
Do you have a date for the next networking improv?
I do.
I have for the, I think it's Monday, is it Monday, March 1st? Is that a Monday?
Sounds like a Monday because March 5th is a Wednesday.
Then yeah.
So if you're doing it on Monday, March 1st, how does somebody find out about it?
Yeah, I think it's Monday, March 1st. Right now it's on Eventbrite and I've actually gotten, I've gotten a ticket sale through Eventbrite without promoting it, which is kind of cool.
Did you post about it on LinkedIn yet?
No, I haven't. So that's what I'm working on today. Okay, I'm gonna do some— do you have any recommendations for like what kind of things to post? Like, should I do a live bit? Should I go live? Should I write something?
I think you should do a video about it. I think you should have a 5-minute video where you're just basically on the screen talking about your experience and how people felt and why you're doing it. And then you should Direct message that video to at least 100 people that you're connected to on LinkedIn.
Oh, wow. Okay.
And ask them to please all leave a comment on it. And then you're going to have 100 comments on that video. And who knows who's going to see the video?
Wow.
Okay. Fun. Well, this one's a local one, so I should just send it to local people.
Yeah.
Do you know how to select— you know how to check which one of your connections are located in San Diego? Because if I lived in Los Angeles, by the way, or in Temecula, I would drive to do the networking improv in San Diego. If I lived in Long Beach, I would certainly drive. But even Temecula or Tijuana, or yeah, or even, or even like, even like parts of Arizona, I might drive. Or Vegas.
I had people come down from LA for it, for sure.
For sure. Yeah, so I would, I would start with all your San Diego ones.
Okay.
And then I would move to surrounding areas like Long Beach, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas, and maybe even Las Vegas.
Wow.
Cool.
Yeah, people, people definitely would want to come to those types of things.
Yeah.
Okay.
And make your post non-promotional, just share from your heart. You don't need to promote anything. It's more— it's more like creating awareness. And then put the link— don't put the link in the post, put the link in the comments.
Okay.
You know, so we have 3 comments. We have a comment from Frank, a comment from John, and a comment from Cliff. Cliff said, Joe, are you recording this? I unfortunately need to hop. Yes, I'm recording this.
I record everything.
That was 24 seconds ago. 30, 31 seconds ago, John said something. John said—
I don't know what John said because it just popped up to the next—
the next post popped up. So, um, John said, nice session. John O'Learn. John O'Learn. It's so funny, John looks like he has long hair.
I'm gonna open up his profile.
Oh, he has long hair! Look at that, it's like flowing off his shoulder. He's from North Carolina. He's a founder and managing owner of a company in North Carolina. We connected back in 2019. He's a fractional CMO.
How cool is that?
Oh, that's neat.
I'm gonna go ahead and leave a comment on his recent post. Isn't it? By the way, Gary Vaynerchuk said this is the future of the internet where everyone just like lives their life online and whoever wants to watch can watch. Like the fact that me and you are having a conversation, you're on speakerphone, whatever, and I'm just talking to you.
I didn't know I was going to be live today.
Yeah, but you didn't have to even put on makeup.
I know, it's great.
You could just talk and people, if they want to listen, they'll listen. It's like, it's like, it's It's like we're at WeWork having a conversation and the person's listening next door and watching my computer screen. And I don't mind.
Yeah, you invited them in.
Yeah, I mean, they happen to be in my office together with me. I have an office. I have an office called LinkedIn.
Yeah.
And people just attend. Yeah, people just attend and they listen and they connect with me and build relationships.
And it just— it is—
it's very empowering to be able to do that and to stay top of mind with people without Without having to like officially have to make a show.
Right, right.
You, you really— you don't overthink it. I also think a lot of people do when it comes to like video and going live and things like that.
But I also evolved a lot because I used to like put on a show every time, and now I realized I can just exist without having to put on a show, and that's enough.
It is enough.
I am enough.
It's very authentic.
I am enough. Let me see how many more needs to be— that's it.
I—
oh no, I got like 5 more, 6 more posts to open automatically. It's just, it's just unbelievable the way it's doing it. It's just saving me so much time. I, I'm gonna make a video sharing this with people, showing them how amazing this is.
I love it.
Even if you're like reviewing a list of leads Imagine you're just reviewing a list of websites from potential clients or a list of events and you want them all just to pop open.
Wow.
I love that. I love the way it's doing it and I'm able to literally comment on every single post. Let's say you had a spreadsheet with a lot of— Yeah, watch what you're on. So you see what I'm doing? I use— like, I showed people how I created it, and then I literally just went ahead and put it up there, and boom, just like that.
Amazing.
It is fascinating the amount of time I save and how many, how many comments I'm able to leave with Evie AI. And you know, we're having a template creation party at 4 o'clock Eastern. It's in 30 minutes.
Oh really?
Uh-huh.
What do you— what kind of templates are you creating?
So if you go into Evie AI, on the left side of Evie AI there's a button called Templates. You know, like there's like Save Profiles, Post Writer, Idea Generator, then there's Templates. You have the ability to add new templates. So I came up with ideas for different type of templates that you can have. So you have templates for the messages you want to send people. Let's say You want to promote your event and you'll say, hey, I'm hosting a networking improv in San Diego. Figure it out. It's in person. Figure because you're in San Diego and I'm in San Diego, you might want to come. If you want the link, let me know.
I'm happy to send it to you. It's going to be a great event. We're going to have a good time.
Let me know if you want to join. You want to write that and then save that into as a template, right?
Yeah.
So that's, so that's one type of template. There's lots of different types of messages that you can send out.
Message templates.
Exactly. But there's also like prompt templates. Let's say you have a prompt where you want to instruct ChatGPT to do something, or you want to instruct another AI to do something for you, like Perplexity, to do research on someone. Then you wrote up a very nice prompt and you don't want— you don't want to lose that prompt. So you save the prompt in your templates in Evie AI.
Oh, cool.
Also, let's say you have specific types of comments you like to leave on people's posts, and you don't want to have to rely on AI to come up with the comment. So you literally just write up the comment template, and now you have a comment template, or that could just be a starting point for AI, and AI can further customize it for you. But it at least has that exact comment that you want.
Wow.
Or for example, let's say there are certain connection notes that you typically like to send out, Paige.
Like, what do you mean?
Let's say, let's say you're part of BNI and there's always guests coming to BNI. And every time a guest comes, you want to invite them to connect with you on LinkedIn, but you want to put a specific note, say, hey, it was really nice meeting you this morning at BNI. Hope you had a fun time and you did a good job with your elevator pitch. Let's connect on LinkedIn. You can use that template.
I love that.
But I could think of many different connection notes templates that I would want.
There's a better way than writing everything from scratch every single time.
Exactly. There definitely is a better way than writing everything from scratch. There's also links that people ask you all the time for. So you can save those links like to lead magnets, to resources, to your website, to your calendar link, to your Zoom link, to whatever. So you can save those as templates. You can also save Loom videos, like tutorials that you created to do things that people might ask you for all the time. Hey, can you tell me how to blah, blah, blah? Oh, sure. And then you go to your Loom category of templates and you just share the Loom.
Wow.
Or snippets.
But I, I know—
Oh my God, if you don't use Loom, do you know how powerful Loom is?
How powerful? Tell me.
Okay, so I download the app on my computer and someone says, Joe, can you show me how to do X, Y, and Z? I fire up Loom and I just record my screen as I'm doing whatever I'm doing to instruct the person of what to do. And I can choose whether I want my video on and how big I want my video to be or how small, or I can move it around. When I finish recording, I hit end recording. And mind you, I could pause in the middle if I need to think something through or whatever. But let's just say I finish, I record something for a minute and I finish recording and I hit finish recording. You know what happens when I press end recording?
What happens?
It automatically gets uploaded to Loom. They automatically transcribe the whole thing and then add a perfect title and a perfect description with all the transcripts. And with a click of a button, I can embed it in almost any website that people can just hit play and watch.
What?
And if somebody views it, I get notified that they viewed it.
That's incredible.
And, and it's free.
Oh, I didn't know it was free.
That's even better. You can make, you can make 25 videos free per whatever, just always. You can host 25 videos free. I pay $100 a year or something and I get unlimited videos, but like, dude, it is epic.
So I have a question. Yeah, because what you do is very oriented around like you showing people how to navigate things on LinkedIn and, and, you know, like use, you know, use the computer.
What—
how could Loom support like what I do in terms of—
The way that Loom can support what you do is by you showing off your assets. You have beautiful assets. Yes, you do. You have, you have a beautiful business networking one sheet, am I right?
Yeah.
That's what I was talking about. I was talking about your beautiful asset, your business, your business networking one sheet.
I do love my assets.
Yes, they are very, very pretty. And so if you take a look at all of your different assets that you have promoting your different things, That you want people to look at. So then show them to them using Loom while you talk about them. It's almost like giving people a tour of your Eventbrite page. Why not have them watch your face talk on top of the page while you show them how they can easily register and the benefits they'll get from it?
Page is page.
Page is page. And then what you can also do is you can repurpose that as a YouTube video and just download it from Loom and upload it to YouTube, and your transcript is already prepared. So you don't have to go and transcript— transcribe anything. You just push a button and it prepares an SEO-friendly description of everything.
Oh, that's pretty incredible.
Telling you, just— it just makes life so much easier.
Yeah, you're the king of shortcuts.
I do like to make things go faster because some people are like, oh, it's better if it's longer. I'm like, I don't know about that. I was telling everybody at the networking event today, you know, time is money. Like sometimes you just want to get it done quick and easy and just get it done as fast as possible and not savor the moment. Just let's get rolling.
Yeah.
Sometimes it's about just efficiency. Sometimes it's about not allowing the saber-toothed tiger to eat you and you just Get in there, do what you got to do and get the hell out of there before you got killed.
Amen.
Right? Survival of the fittest. And so what I'm doing is I am leaving comments all over the place, but I'm doing it super fast because I don't want to like get carried away with my ADD and then not end up leaving comments for all the people that I promised I would leave a comment for in the posting party. And if you had to do this for every single person manually, it just would take you an entire day. Whereas right now I'm doing it using systematically and then boom, I am good to go and I'm done.
I'm literally done.
And by the way, I finished leaving comments on 50 posts today during our conversation, during our conversation.
You gotta write a thing about this. You gotta write some content about this.
It's insane.
That's amazing.
It's insane. And for me, being able to get this level of exposure, not just to my connections, but like to my friends, you know, like this works on Facebook.
Yeah.
It works on, you know, I write now WhatsApp messages with this.
Wow.
I can, I can send you a WhatsApp message that Evie AI wrote for me in seconds. So like, if people are not using this level of technology, yeah, sure, ChatGPT exists, but you're gonna go sit there and write prompts? You're gonna go sit there and start going back and forth between ChatGPT to figure out exactly what to say and then cut? No, you just push a button and it just works.
Right, right.
That has been transformational for me.
So easy breezy.
Yeah.
Wow, okay, I am home and I'm very inspired, so I'm gonna start making some stuff happen.
Amazing.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh, it's my pleasure. Do you wanna tell me, send me through WhatsApp if you can some dates that work for you in 2 weeks so we can host our posting party virtually?
Okay.
And then I'll tell you what day works for me, and then we'll— not posting party, the improv, the networking improv, and then we'll get the date.
Yeah. Do you think next week would work?
Um, possible. Yeah, send me the dates that work for you next week, and we can do it late if you want.
Doesn't have to be an early thing.
Not like super late, but you know.
Yeah.
Okay, cool. I'll send you some times.
All right, thank you so much. Thanks for calling me. I appreciate you. Thank you for being in my life. You're wonderful.
You're wonderful.
Okay, bye.
Bye.
Obama, I wish I could have joined the guest speaking. Our meetings are blah blah blah, typically Wednesday.
Are you available Wednesday, March 12th at 4 PM? Hmm, I'd have to check on that. Wednesday at 4 PM, looking at my calendar now. Let's see, Wednesday, March 12th at 4 PM.
Am I available?
Oh, I am available. Yes, I am available on 4 PM EST on March 12th. Can you send me a calendar Invite. All right, let's see. Okay, good, that worked. Let's see. Good morning, I have a potential project coming up with a new startup pitching generative AI chatbot solution for small business. A while back we attended a webinar. I thought you're from— create a solid LinkedIn presence to generate revenue.
For them.
Sounds interesting. Happy to help. Here is our offering for a LinkedIn strategy: ajaxunion.com/blueprint. Let me know if you want to get on a call to chat about it. All right, let's just see what happens there. He said very cool. Jillian, Jillian says please send me the link. I'm available if I'm available, I'll join. So I'm gonna go get the link from here. I'm gonna go here. I'm gonna uncheck this. I'm gonna click message influencer summit DM. Um. Oh, maybe it's not the DM. Maybe it's the post comment. Let me see if it's comments. JV directory, accelerator training. Where did I save it as? Let's see. No, I didn't save it as a prompt. Um, I'm gonna just uncheck everything. Let's see, promote a poll, Perplexity promo. I saved it under nothing. Um, let me see, promo links, promo links. Now I saved it on the promo links.
Copy, paste.
Join me and a thousand other attendees with data. Okay, so I just enter that. I wish I could. I have back-to-back meetings. Okay, look at all the responses that I got. I got so many responses. It's crazy.
Well guys, let me know what you want to learn how to do.
So if you leave comments on people's posts, you end up getting more comments to your posts.
That's really the key.
And you guys just saw the way I left tons and tons of comments on people's posts. Now let me show you something crazy. I'm gonna go here, I'm gonna click on this, and I'm gonna uncheck Blueprint Clients. And I'm going to go here, I'm going to do EAOIC active. And I'll show you how quickly I'm able to leave comments on people's posts. So I'm going to go to Robert Allen. I'm going to click on— looks like he moved that. I'm going to click on See Recent Activities here. So I built this technology here, you see this technology, this automatically tells you what was open and what wasn't open. So I'm going to make a Loom video about this right now to show people how this works very, very quickly. Um, just incredible the way I was able to just copy and paste all these links here. But let me just check this out here. Robert Allen reposted this. I'm going to go in here, click this, and then I'm going to go into here. Hit generate, and then I'm going to insert it, and then boom, just like that. Congrats, you two look incredible. Look at that. I'm going to send a message to Megan. Let's see. She has not responded to me, so I'm gonna give her a call.
Let me give her a call.
Oh, she doesn't have her phone number here anymore, so let me just go to Megan O'Rourke. Megan. And let me give her a call. Ring ring.
Look at that.
It's very informative. As social media manager, I find this insightful. All right, Nigeria. Repost, post.
Hi, you've reached Megan. I can't get to the phone. Please leave a message.
Megan.
At the tone, please record your message. When you've finished recording, you may hang up or press one for more options.
Hi, Megan. This is Joe Applebaum, CEO of Evie AI. Hope you're doing fantastic.
I'm just calling to touch base with you and see.
How things are going. I noticed you left a comment on Robert Allen's post, and I figured I'd give you a call to see how you're doing. Hopefully you're doing well. And I sent you a message on LinkedIn, but I'm not sure that you saw it. So yeah, let's chat again very soon.
Talk to you soon. All the best. All right, let's go on here, click the up arrow, and comment. Boom, just like that. I'm going to click on Carlos. I'm going to click contact info, and I'm going to call him.
Let's call up Carlos.
786-547-9610.
Let's call him up right now.
See if he picks up the phone.
See if he picks up the phone.
Let's see.
You've reached Carlos Garrido.
Please leave—
It went to voicemail.
It went to voicemail. That's what happened there. It went to— so we finished with Robert Allen. Let's move to Jocelyn Nager. Let's go to Jocelyn. Let's call up Jocelyn. Jos E L um Nager N A G E oh let's call Annette I haven't spoken to Annette in like forever let's see five days ago I don't know what she's doing here.
Annette Naif, how are you?
I'm good, how are you?
Good, thank goodness. Life is a blessing.
What's going on?
Chilling like a villain. I figured I'd just give you a call to see, see how you're doing.
I'm good.
I'm actually in Florida walking. You know, I have a place in Florida now.
Yeah, half of the year.
And I'm walking back from the pool to Go back home.
Wow.
So you caught me at a good time. Where are you?
I'm in California and I'm headed back to New York today.
Oh, wow. What's in California?
I just came here for a few days to chill out.
Good. Well, it's nice to hear from you. How's— looks like business is good.
Yeah, working really hard helping people out on teaching them how to use LinkedIn to grow their business. And now I have an AI for LinkedIn.
We have—
I think I have. I think I actually— I don't know if I bought the subscription to it, but I did use it. Like, you know, I have to get in LinkedIn. I have to— like, I'm in it.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
I have to use it. I just don't use it, and I really need to use it.
Yeah, I mean, LinkedIn has transformed people's lives. We have, um, we now have a bundle where you get $10,000 worth of training if you pay for the software.
We have the pro version of the software, which I'm using right now while I'm on LinkedIn Live.
And I will show you, I'll send you the link to it so that you can take a look at the bundle. It's called the bundle, app.evi.ai/bundle. It's by invitation only to be able to access that.
So just FYI. Yeah.
But we're offering this bundle to like friends and family that wanna try out our pro version and giving them basically all of the training we have to offer, um, which is, um, which is for people who are really serious about taking LinkedIn. We also have posting parties that we host twice a month where you come meet 50 other people that are active on LinkedIn, and then, um, and then everyone likes and comments on your post.
Yeah.
So that's, that's interesting. Yeah, because you haven't posted in like a week.
I know my— well, I have a team that posts and stuff, so I do have, you know, we post consistently pretty much. But come on, it's a little slower at the moment. But I— there's— I can't— I don't have the time to like do it. I guess I'd have my team could do it. It just needs to be something like I either need someone to do it or—
Well, if you learn how to use— if you learn how to use the tech and you commit to 15 minutes a day, you can get a lot done in 15 minutes. With this tech, just 15 minutes. I would tell you put a timer on, learn to use the tech, and then spend 15 minutes each day on it and watch the way things change. Because you end up seeing people that you need to get on the phone with anyway. Like you'll see somebody like Yigal Adatto who happens to be doing events now, and you'll be like, you know what, I should really call Yigal because maybe I can do an event for him.
Yeah.
And he's also the president of a shul that does events anyway.
Right, right.
And he's going to tons of events and speaking at events, so he knows people who do events. By the way, that marketing cruise was just unbelievable. It was a phenomenal cruise.
You said that.
I met so many marketers. There were 400 people that have online marketing, um, that have like marketing— they're marketers and they have audiences, so they have like courses and, and programs and And they do events. A lot of them do like events all over the place. Like a guy like Bill Walsh and like, you know, they have, there's Genius Unlocked and there's all these people that have all these events that are happening globally all the time and they're hosting it.
Right.
And so I got to, I like, if you're in a cruise for 8 days and there's 400 other marketers there, that's just a powerful thing. Breakfast, lunch, and supper, you're networking and building relationships. So that was really transformational for me. And they don't charge anything. You just pay for the cruise.
Oh wow, that's amazing.
They're super affordable. I built 100 relationships, closed 12 deals, and have 33 JV partners as a result of it.
That's amazing, that's amazing.
But I know that you hate cruises.
Yeah, I'm not a fan. Um, only if I have to— if I have a client who's doing it, then it's, you know, then I don't have a choice. But, um, I'm not a fan, but I do— my phone might die, so if I die, then I'll—
If you die, we'll mourn you.
But, um, uh, yeah, I just— I do need to get a LinkedIn thing going here, but I just don't have the brain capacity to like learn a bunch of stuff. And I don't know, it's just—
I'm willing to personally train you if you want in small ADD-friendly sessions. Yeah, we could do 15 minutes here and there. I can guide you and show you. I can show you how to meet all those meeting planner wannabes that you want to sell your program to. Yeah, yeah, you already have 10,000 people on LinkedIn. You should be monetizing it more. There's no— and you can get to 30,000 relatively quickly.
Yeah, I know.
And now with AI, things are like significantly more impressive.
No, I know, we—
I use it a lot. I use a lot in my business, but, and I started dabbling with it when you first got this AI thing.
Yeah. Um, but the pro version that I sent you, I sent you a, I sent you a link to the pro version via LinkedIn DM.
Okay.
And with the bundle, which gives you $10,000 worth of bonuses, and, and we have an influencer summit, a LinkedIn influencer summit that's happening on Wednesday. So this week Wednesday, it's a 3-hour event. You can send your team to it. Influencer Summit 2025. We have 9 of the top LinkedIn influencers each sharing all of their hacks, and there's no charge to attend.
Free to attend live.
I actually saw that, but I, um, I don't think I need— I don't think I'm available to go.
But maybe send your team, or maybe send people that you know might benefit from it.
Yeah, yeah, send me that again. Let me— I want to look at the times on that.
Okay.
What's the best way to communicate with you in general?
Is it WhatsApp?
No, because I never check it.
So what do you always check?
Email or my text messages.
Okay.
I don't check WhatsApp, as you can tell. It takes me forever. I just don't. It's just another communication that I'm like— on occasion I do go in there, but— Alright. If I have a client that's like got a whole team on it, then I will, but it's I love WhatsApp. I know you do. I'm overloaded with so many things, hon. I got so many systems.
I know.
It's a lot when you're planning events and I'm doing like 15.
I would not be able to plan events. I don't know how you do it. You're just amazing.
It's a lot and my brain gets a little overloaded and I do have team and I'm wanting to leverage— how many years I've been saying I want to leverage LinkedIn.
So yeah, now is, now is the time. Things are gonna change eventually, but now is literally the best time to do it.
Yeah, I'm glad you got back on your LinkedIn, right? That was a nightmare.
Oh my God, but I'm really, really grateful, yeah.
Holy shit, what's going on in your personal life?
Life is good, I feel blessed. I really feel blessed. My daughter moved in with me, I'm very focused on my daughter.
The oldest?
My oldest, my 18-year-old.
And she's been living with me for a couple of months now.
You're in New Jersey, right?
I'm in New Jersey and I'm loving it. I'm able to travel, I'm able to go on cruises, I'm able to, do business. I'm really focused 100% on Evvy AI and helping people generate $100,000 in profit through LinkedIn.
That's really what I'm focused on.
I'm like, my focus is not split.
I'm like 100% like helping people out.
Well, that's when you're, you know, you gotta do 100% or—
My zone. I'm so in the zone with this stuff.
I'm so proud of you. It's good. I'm happy.
Thank you.
Are doing this and you're happy?
Oh my God, it does not feel like work.
That's great.
It really does not feel like work.
I mean, mine doesn't really. The year in New York now, so it's nice.
But and your relationship is working out?
I don't know about that.
That one is on the fence at the moment.
But you know what? Life life is a blessing. Whatever happens for you.
Yep.
Is a blessing. It's a— sometimes it's a blessing in disguise, sometimes it's a, a massive, massive blessing.
Yeah.
You know, you are an amazing human being. You are going to thrive no matter what happens in your life. I believe in you, I root for you, and I appreciate you very much. I really appreciate you being in my life. I had such a good time with you throughout the past couple years. We've done some pretty cool things together.
Yeah, it was fun.
That cybersecurity summit was something else.
Oh my God.
What's she up to?
Um, she's doing okay. Her business grew. She's very happy. And she's— yeah, she's, she's doing something. She's doing something. But you know, life, life has its way with us. You know, we come, we go, we do stuff, and it has its way.
Um, It does, it does. So, um, yeah, so I'm just each day at a time, my friend.
One day at a time. One— if there's anything I can do to make your life better, please let me know. If you want to come on the cruise, let me know as well. I know you're not into it right now, but if you decide you want to come, it's January, leaving from Long Beach. I can introduce you to at least 100 people that are going to be there.
When is it?
Uh, where is it going?
It's going to Cabo.
It's going down the Pacific, the Pacific Coast.
And out of where?
Out of Long Beach.
Out of Long Beach, California.
Yep. Oh yeah. And then, um, uh, it's—
what's the dates?
Uh, January 17th for 8 days.
Yeah, I got a wedding.
I mean, I'm in, uh, Costa Rica for A week. Okay, starting the last week in January.
Okay, so the 17th. Yeah, so you're not gonna make it.
Yeah, it's the last week in January.
Wow.
I know.
So, but you know, it's nice that I have a wedding there.
Can't be so bad.
Yeah, weddings are beautiful.
I guess so.
Weddings are beautiful, divorces are better. It's a shame we don't— it's a shame they don't do events regarding divorces.
We should.
Yeah.
That would be fun. That would be fun.
All right.
Well, I appreciate you very much. Looking forward to hearing good things about you.
That was very sweet of you.
It's my pleasure.
Anytime you need anything, hit me up.
Okay.
All right, honey. Thank you so much.
Take care. Bye, Annette.
And that is how you make a phone call to a random person, a random person that you have a relationship with, and you build a relationship and you get to know the person. I'm trying to figure out how to copy these actual mentions in a way where the mentions actually get copied.
You know what I mean?
Like, I have all these mentions over here. Now, how do I— how do I copy these mentions? Thanks for the mention. I wonder if I—
who? Jen's calling me.
Hi, Jen.
Joe, Doug's here.
Doug's there?
Okay, I'm coming. Bye. Where is Doug? Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug Diggity Doug. Where is Doug? Doug? Oh, here's Doug. Here it is. Whoop, there it is. Oh, I can't share my camera because my camera's on the other tool. So let me go to the other tool. Speaker is joined. Host has joined. Let me turn my camera off here. And let's see if this works now. Boom. Okay. Let's see if my camera Shows up virtual background. I don't know, it's not working. All right, let's just see if he joins. Waiting for host to let me in. Let me see. It says waiting for host. Okay, I guess he's not joining. Oh, it says host has joined. We'll let them know that you're here. Um, Let's go to school. There's an event on the school community. Oh, Carlos!
Hey, Carlos, how are you?
Joe, you rock star, how are you?
I'm doing fantastic. I just wanted to say thank you for coming to the posting party today.
Oh, I'm sorry, I had to duck out early. You know, it's funny when— because I see you as a bit of a celebrity, and when I say it's like JLo Ah, that's so nice.
You're very sweet.
Thank you. No, that was very nice of you to give me a call as well. Um, um, no, I, I try and get to as many things as I can, but my calendar is just smashed to pieces.
I totally get it. I totally get it.
You got to prioritize things.
I'm, I'm joining a template party now inside Evie AI.
If you want to join, you're welcome to.
I'm gonna try and close out quickly my next call because I do want to join it.
And I'm actually—
I did what you said this morning. I've already put Evi templates as a— as on my home screen on my phone because I want to populate it with templates.
Amazing.
Love it.
Amazing.
All right, so I'll see you if you join it. I'll see you there.
Yeah, take care.
Bye-bye.
All right, take care. Bye.
Recording in progress.
With other software extensively enhanced. If you have an iPhone, it actually has a templating ability in there. There's, there's other utilities that have it. But so this is what I want to talk about today. Okay. First of all, what is a template? Why would you use a template? How do you use a template? So it's like the 5 W's. What's one? Why would we use them? How do you use it? When would you use it? How do you create a template? How do you organize your templates? Because over time you may get lots of them. How could you share a template? And then last but not least is maybe, maybe this will be the beginning. This is a little bit of my vision. of maybe a community within the community that just shares ideas. Basically, a template is simply memorized information. It's just, it's something you would use over and over. I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna talk primarily by examples of what I do, and I think they'll be very parallel to everything here. And then again, I said this when we first came in. I don't want this to be like a lecture. I don't want this to be like I'm some professor in the front of a room and everybody's sitting there scribbling notes. So if you have a question, just shout. There's not that many people here, kind of a nice little group. But let me show you something I do. Okay, I'm gonna show you something. This is kind of part of my daily social media habit. Okay, so I go to LinkedIn. I go to LinkedIn, and I'm sure everybody's on LinkedIn, so we don't need to discuss that. And I go and get this thing out of the way. I go to my network, and I click on catch up. Okay, and I'm not sure what the default is, but I click on catch up. I click on birthdays.
Okay.
Now I've already actually done this today, but I think you'll get the point. Now, normally speaking, where it says message sent, it'll say like, wish Jonathan happy birthday. But the default message is lame. The default message is like, happy birthday, Jonathan, and that's it. And they know if somebody does that— let me see if I can find one I haven't done yet. And I— this is like I said, I do this every day. It's like part of my, like, CEO time, as they say. See, let's not worry about it. What I do instead is I go over to Evvy. I go to my templates. I go down to birthday, happy birthday, and I got a little more personalized message. This is a good time to celebrate your wins. And your positives for the last year and make plans for the upcoming year ahead. What are you looking forward to this year? Okay, now it's simple. It's personalized enough. I hit copy. I would go back to LinkedIn. I'd hit right here, like send message, and then paste that in. Now, just today.
